the ultimate shadow stalker needs to be updated for the healing part, its still the same talent choice in the support build but it still says that you reveal your oppennts location

The support build on the quick reference suggests Starfall despite the changelog saying it was replaced with Shadowstalk.

I am not sure I agree with the evaluation of the skills increasing her basic attack damage.

Simple calculations show that at level 20, Tyrande with seasoned marksmanship, searing arrows, huntress fury, nexus frenzy, trueshot aura/shooting star can deal around 5000 damage to the target under the influence of hunters mark - that is over the period of 4-5 seconds following its application. It is exactly the fact that her basic attack damage is rather low that seasoned marksmanship is especially valuable on her - it gives her an absolute increase in damage which is much higher percentage-wise then for heroes with strong basic attacks. Just send her to a lane with a specialist on it and it is a pure gain for everyone. Her shooting skills are also invaluable when big bosses knock at your forts - unloading all she's got can bring them down in no time.

The Basic Attack build is legit, no doubt about that. However, it requires good game knowledge and great mechanical skill, which is why this build is particularly effective in competitive 5v5 situations. 

 

As for Solo Q and Quick Matches, I would not recommend this build. However, I might re-evaluate the talents in the near future!

on scenarios where your teams lacks of damage for X reason, i dont deny that she can be really powerful, ive seen absurdly strong tyrande players going nuts with this build and being feared, but, in my opinion, its really more of taking the big picture, usually in a team strategy she is more valuable being able to bring the utillity she brings than the damage she can do, usually because you have a high damage hero that acts as a carry in your team, (KT, Jaina, etc, etc)

 

Also take in mind that this meta takes brusiers a lot more into consideration , meaning that 2 warrior or even 3 warrior comps are more popular, Zuna from tempostorm talks about this on his Sonya video and talks why she is right now one of the strongest warrior/brusier, so i find a lot more appealing the lvl 1 reduction cd on your trait than damage, mainly because if the enemy team goes for 2 warrior comp tyrande is an obvious threat against them

I don't get how the Focused Attack is not recommended.. I feel like it is pretty good and also Schwimpi picked it in road to blizzcon in their first game vs Team Dignitas and it seemed to work pretty good. :)

You're right in some way. It can be a strong talent, however, the build that pro players like Schwimpi and others use is very hard to execute in solo Q and even mid-tier Team League, since it requires a lot of game knowledge and good positioning.

 

However, I'm definitely going to add a Basic Attack Build for Tyrande in the very near future. :)

The builds are legit enough, but this guide needs a severe update. Many of the things said here are not relevant anymore due to the new ult and changes to her talents.

Hunter's Swiftness, a level 20 talent, is placed in the Not Recommended category with the description:  Hunter's Swiftness can only be taken if you went for icon-tyrande-shadowstalk.png Shadowstalk at Level 10, which we do not recommend.

 

However Shadowstalk has been changed to Recommended recently. Please consider revising.

What would your opinion be on taking talents like Huntress' Fury and Nexus Frenzy to maximize the utility of battle momentum? I have found that minimizing her cooldowns has made me a more effective healer, Nexus Frenzy in particular allows for safe auto attack range (not to mention the obvious benefit of extra attack speed)

In theory, that sounds legit. However, giving up Overflowing Light, which is Tyrande's biggest source of Healing by far, is not possible, especially if you are the single Support. 

 

Furthermore, Empower at Level 1 works really well with other Owl talents to reduce the cooldown of you abilities by hitting multiple enemies with an Owl.

I would add Battlefield of Eternity to Tyrandes stronger maps. Her vulnerable skill can make a huge difference in how quickly you can kill the immortal.

Honestly, your talent evaluations for Tyrande are somewhat lacking, since the guide doesn't appear to take into account how the attack speed increases of Huntress' Fury (Level 13) and Nexus Frenzy (Level 20) synergize with the cooldown reduction from Basic Attacks from Lunar Momentum (Level 7).

While I'm no formal tester, my experience indicates that the odd ability timing Huntress' Fury requires (using the Mark while other abilities are on cooldown to get the full benefit) would still not be particularly effective, but Nexus Frenzy is a solid talent because it not only allows you to reduce your cooldowns even more effectively,  the range increase means you can do it from a safer position as well.

More testing needed, obviously, but this does need to be taken into account for the guide, instead of just dismissing those talents on basis of them being "damage-only" talents.

Unfortunately, we have a lot of guides to update and only so many writers, so it does take some time to get it all finished! I can only apologise and ask for you to keep waiting, but know that we are working hard to get it done ASAP!

Tyrande guide is on the top of Kendric's to-do list for guide conversions. If the build proves to be good enough, it will be added. Sorry to keep you waiting!

      General Map Updates Balance Update Known Issues & Bug Fixes General
      All Quests that can lose stacks will never cause the player to fall below milestone thresholds. Pinnacle Rewards are now named Mythic Rewards to give a more Blizzard feel. So Mythic-y! The following Summoned Units now lose health each second: Demon Lieutenants, Demon Warriors, Gargantuan, Hydralisks, Roaches, Rock-It Turrets, Rush Zombies, Scarabs, Treants, Tumors, and Water Elementals. Total Health and Duration of these Summoned Units have been adjusted to compensate for this. Structures now prioritize Summoned Units when there are no remaining minions. Summoned Units no longer take half damage from Structures. XP Globe pickup sound is now also played when killing a minion that instantly yields XP. Updated Homescreen and Startup Music. Return to Top

At 35 stacks, Storm Bolt pierces to hit an additional target, and Muradin's Basic Attack reduces the cooldown of Storm Bolt by 0.5 seconds.
