[US-Kel'thuzad][A] <The Dead Fish Society> Building 10 Man Raid Team

6 posts in this topic

The Dead Fish Society is a friendly, casual level 25 guild. We're looking for mature, fun people to get us moving again. We especially welcome anyone who wants to help us start our raiding in MoP. Currently we are seeking tanks, melee DPS and healers but all applications will be considered and non-raiders are welcome.

We understand WoW is a game and life comes first. We do expect a family safe enviornment to be maintained in guild, guild forums, and on Mumble.

The Dead Fish Society has a long history of raiding but attrition has left us looking for a fresh infusion of players and raid members! So we're out looking for new members who want a low pressure guild.

For those joining us to raid, typical requirements apply, and also:

  • Download Mumble before the raid
  • Stay drama-free
  • Contribute to the raiding experience and come with a positive attitude!
We are looking to begin our first raids within the next couple weeks and hope you'll consider joining us!

If you have questions or are interested:

<The Dead Fish Society> is definitely currently looking for dedicated/reliable people for core spots in our 10 man raids(especially healers, tanks and melee DPS)!! Currently all classes, and roles are welcome to join(we will accept all levels as well but we are not a leveling guild, and our main focus is progressing through end game raids). Though we are a casual guild and we understand that Real Life comes before WoW, so we don't have mandatory attendance... like hard core raiding guilds, those that wish to raid with us should understand that we do take raiding seriously and we want to do well. Since we are just getting started this expansion with raiding, in all Cata raids we downed the normal versions and parts of the heroic versions as well. If you are looking for a casual, but focused family friendly raiding guild with no drama, <The Dead Fish Society> is for you!!

As an officer of this guild I would have to say that I absolutely love being in this guild, and have been a member for almost 5 years. The people and environment that is created in our guild(especially with our family friendly, and drama-free aspect) is second to none. I definitely have developed a number solid friendships in and out of game with people I have known from this guild.

For further information or for a guild invite please contact: Mandla, Martheren(myself), or Kronostul/Greenbriar.

Despite a good influx of new members joining our ranks, <The Dead Fish Society> is still heavily recruiting and accepting all roles but is especially looking for healers, tanks and melee DPS for our core raiding spots!!! We do plan to start our 10 man raids next week or the week after at the very latest, so that doesn't leave much time to make sure you are one of our core raiders!!!! If interested, if you need additional information or if you would like a guild invite please talk to, Mandla, Martheren, or Kronostul/Greenbriar!!

Yes! <The Dead Fish Society> is about ready to get our raids underway but we are still continuing to recruit quality people!! We are still accepting all classes and roles however, please be advised for raiding purposes some classes and roles we may be pretty full on. But we will still continue to accept all classes and roles for future raiding consideration, or even if you are not looking to raid and just want a casual, friendly, no-drama, family friendly guild to join!!! For raiding purposes we are specifically looking for:

Tanks(Especially needed!!): Druid, Paladin, Monk

Melee DPS: Monk, Rogue, Pally, Shaman

Ranged DPS: Druid, Warlock, Mage, Shaman

Healers (especially needed!!!!): Druid, Priest, Monk, Shaman

If you are looking for a guild that is focused on progression while raiding, but is casual outside of raiding and understands that RL comes before WoW then this guild is for YOU!!! Please contact Mandla, Martheren or Kronostul/Greenbriar for more information, or a guild invite!!

Even though we have just started back up raiding we are still recruiting dedicated, qualtiy raiders for core spots in our raids!!! We are absolutely still accepting all classes and roles(however, please be advised for raiding purposes some classes and roles we may be pretty full on, PST or email myself to inquire!) but we are especially needing Healers, and Tanks!! Even if you do not plan to raid(or even can only make raids once in a while) and want a casual, family friendly, and no-drama guild with people who are mature then <The Dead Fish Society> is for you!! We are still looking for the roles described above but as mentioned earlier are still recruiting all classes and roles!! For more information, a guild invite... Please contact Martheren or Kronostul/Greenbriar!!

Classic WoW Guilds is a Discord server built for and by the community.

If you're a GM/Officer of your guild or you're a Player looking for a guild, Leadership of various guilds (now well over 20 guilds) have gotten together to form a new Discord server for recruitment and guild growth purposes. Still in it's infancy (240+ current members, 30+ members joining every day), we hope it will continue to grow and we welcome anyone to join in that effort.

Wipe Res Rebuff, a Legion Cutting Edge guild are seeking new members!

We are a super friendly, semi-hardcore raiding guild.
As a guild we have succeeded in promoting a non-toxic environment, with great banter, where all of our players are respected, we are now seeking to grow our core roster, filling in DPS and Healer slots.
Progression raid nights are Thursdays & Sundays 7:45 until 11pm server time.
On Friday we host a chilled out, optional farm night for heroic and NM, 7:45pm server, until late!

Check out our website to apply!

Guild: Dawn of the Dead | http://www.dotd.org   Faction: Horde | Server: Zul'jin (PvE) | Timezone: EST   Current Progression: 4/8M Uldir   We've been raiding max size raids continuously since WoW has been released and are the only guild to have done so here on Zul'jin. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term, and we don't over-recruit.   Website: www.dotd.org
Raid Times: Our schedule is 8-11 EST Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Needs: We are a small guild, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. We don’t recruit people to sit around, so all spots are for raiders who can expect to be in most every raid.   We are currently looking to add skilled and reliable:   Ranged DPS:
      High: Warlock
      Medium: Mage, S.Priest, Boomkin
      1 Healer:
      High: MW Monk
*ALL exceptional applicants will be considered regardless of the class.   What we ask of you:   Effort: Not all applicants come from highly progressed guilds, and that’s okay, but it does mean that you need to be prepared. We recruit the player, not the gear, but we do ask that you have some current experience and be a minimum iLvl of 370. You need to have the best gear available to you, (BoE, Crafted) with gems and top end enchants. You also need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.   Attitude: It’s a game. We play for fun. How you fit in with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.   Skill: The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any logs, theorycrafting, or other work you've done.   Commitment: We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 20 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part so that we can each benefit.   We have a variety of informational resources available to prospective applicants on our web site: http://www.dotd.org-- please refer to our "Applications" forum for detailed information. Also feel free to visit us on WoWProgresss for more information and kill videos! http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/...wn+of+the+Dead   Should you wish to speak to someone in-game, please don't hesitate to reach out to an officer directly, whisper Xanah (Xana#1662) or Jeare (Jeare#1759).   We look forward to hearing from you soon!

      current progress 8/8 Heroic Uldir
Battle for Azeroth is here, and Fat Finger Dream Team is back and bigger than ever, eager to experience what the new expansion has in store for us.

      Who are we?
FFDT is a Horde guild located on Tarren Mill, consisting of around 20 players with different backgrounds in gaming. We enjoy a wide variety of in-game content, whether it be raids, mythic dungeons or PVP.
We’re a healthy mix of semi-competitive and chill people originating from all over Europe, age ranging from 22 to 34+. Many of us have played games together in the past, but we’re always looking for more people to strengthen our ranks, and would happily embrace you with our fat fingers.

      Goals & Schedule
After successfully creating a strong guild foundation back in Legion, we now strive to keep our community healthy while expanding it in order to be able to enjoy everything that the game has to offer.
Our initial goal in Battle for Azeroth is to clear Uldir on Heroic difficulty while preparing a Mythic raiding team at the same time.
Our raiding schedule is as follows: 2 times per week, on Thursdays from 7 pm to 10 pm and on Sundays from 6 pm to 9 pm Paris time.

      What we want from you
Good attitude - Be nice, be cool and cut down on your salt consumption. We prefer good attitude over numbers such as ilvls, achievements and scores. Communication - Be on Discord with us. Trust me, it makes raiding so much more enjoyable when you get to meet new people, of course without forgetting about some healthy shit talking! Attendance - Be able to attend at least once a week, preferably twice. Preparation for the raids - During progress runs it is expected that everyone has read guides and shows up with proper buffs. For hard content it is also advised to have studied class-specific guides. We are currently looking for flexible people with good game knowledge (both PvE and PvP) and mainly the following classes:
Druid (balance) Shaman (all specs) Death Knight (frost, unholy) Warlock (affliction) Monk (windwalker)
      tl;dr
      Join us

It would be awesome to have you onboard, so please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any questions you might have!
      yours truly,

      Lamme#1153
