Hearthstone's second major expansion and fourth content update, The Grand Tournament, is officially live. You can now open your pre-purchase card packs, purchase additional card packs, craft TGT cards, and play with the new set!

Blizzard's official announcement:

Blizzard Icon The Grand Tournament - Now Available!

The Grand Tournament

Joyous fanfare fills the air of taverns everywhere today, which can only mean one thing—Hearthstone’s second expansion, The Grand Tournament, has arrived! Experience all The Grand Tournament has to offer: 132 new cards add a cavalry of noble knights, powerful steeds, potent spells, and more to your collection. A new keyword, Inspire, rallies minions to perform great acts of courage as they fight in your honor for a hard-earned victory!

A Festive Affair

In times past, the Argent Crusade created a tournament to find champions who possessed the strength and valor to face a most dire villain. Now, The Grand Tournament has become a place where knights from all over Azeroth gather to show off their skills in a playful combination of carnival and competition. It’s a kooky congregation of cavaliers—ogres, pirates, dragons, and even murlocs have sent their finest knights to prove their prowess—so the only thing that’s certain atthis tournament is that you’ll have a fun time!

Glory Awaits!

You’ll find a host of minions ready to follow your heroic example with the newInspire keyword. Each time you activate your Hero power, they’ll be inspired to perform a feat of strength. But the fight for glory doesn’t stop there! Prepare to stand ready and cheer your champions on as they joust, for when jousting minions win a contest, the victor gains a potent boon.

The Grand Tournament wouldn’t be complete without a brand new Hearthstone board! It features a colorful pavilion, a snack bar, carnival games, practice dummies a-plenty to keep your champions in fighting form, and of course, other surprises to find!

Highest Rank Bonus

Your efforts on the Ranked Play ladder will continue to serve as a testament to your valor—a Highest Rank Bonus awaits players at the end of the month that increases in value as you ascend in rank.

Each player’s Quest Log will display the highest rank they have reached during the month and recognize their accomplishment. Players who progress beyond rank 20 will receive a treasure chest containing an array of nifty little rewards as a way of congratulating them for their achievements. Eligible players will receive their treasure chest at the end of each season containing the season’s Ranked Play card back, one or more golden cards, and some extra Arcane Dust. What’s in the chest is determined by your highest rank over the course of the season. Note: your highest rank for the season was recorded beginning with Hearthstone Patch 3.0 that released on August 17.

Arena Rewards

Players will now have a chance to receive any of the current Hearthstone card packs (which include the Classic Hearthstone set, Goblins vs Gnomes, and The Grand Tournament) whenever a card pack is awarded, with a greater chance to receive The Grand Tournament card packs.

See what cards await you in The Grand Tournament on Hearthstone’s official Facebook page and follow the conversation using the hashtag #TGT!

The pennants are waving and the crowd is waiting. Charge in and experience Hearthstone’s second expansion, The Grand Tournament, today!

Professor Putricide has been revealed by DDaHyoNi

      Professor Putricide

Good news everyone! Cloaked Huntress just made a new best friend on turn 7 or earlier, if the former is kept alive. Whether hunters will want to play the value game, however, as a class that historically relied on aggro and midrange playstyles, is another story. We'll have to see if hunters receive more Secret support to really understand Putricide's power, but it doesn't currently fit into any competitive hunter deck (if they do exist at all). Still, the statline is appropriate. Let us note that it is the only non-Beast hunter legendary so far, which is interesting.

Mountainfire Armor and Nerubian Unraveler have been revealed by Tesdey, Reynad, and Eloise.

      Mountain Fire Armor

Deathrattle: If it's your opponent's turn, gain 6 Armor.
      Vanilla test? ✓
      Strong effect? ✓

If we're to learn anything from Shieldmaiden, it's that cards that don't even pass the vanilla test but provide a significant amount of armor will see play and feel amazing in control-oriented warrior decks. Whether control warriors will come back to life given the still-existence of Jade druids and the  like is questionable however, but if it does, this card will certainly be MVP. Value-wise, its Deathrattle, if triggered properly, is worth a bit over 2 mana. Giving this Taunt through Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus might be one way to ensure it triggers, though its pseudo-area of effect is to be underlined. Would Pirate and Taunt warriors run this guy? Doubtful. It is pretty good for arena however, though it sports an unfortunate rare rarity, meaning you won't see it a lot.

      Nerubian Unraveler

I'm not too sure what to think of this. On one hand, this looks to be some kind of anti combo deck tech card. Unfortunately, its cost seems really prohibitive, making it difficult to drop it in a pinch along something else for a strong turn, and its stats are so underwhelming despite the effect being mirrored that it may end up being a dead draw against anything that doesn't rely on spells. Might decks that don't run many spells such as Ramp druids or more experimental Handbuff paladins be seen running this? Maybe. Innervating this out, or better yet, finding one with Barnes may certainly be annoying to deal with, especially considering the effect stacks; get enough of these out on the field, and nobody has to ever worry about spells again. Though I feel this is unlikely to ever see serious play, I'm sure we'll have plenty of Evolve and Moonglade Portal related occasions to make sure this guy shows up to throw a monkey wrench in your occasional match.

Card reveal for Knights of the Frozen Throne continues with Blood Razor, a neutral Legendary and Prince Taldaram.
If you missed previous reveals or need information about the latest Hearthstone expansion, you can find them in our Knights of the Frozen Throne hub page.
      Warrior's Blood Razor
The new Warrior card has been revealed via The Legend of Slag. The card makes King Mosh good and battlecry & deathrattle effects make it a flexible choice for many Warrior cards.

      Prince Taldaram
This is a new neutral Legendary card, revealed exclusively on Hearthpwn. Possible synergies are Malygos, Leeroy Jenkins or Prophet Velen.

Blood-Queen Lanathel is a new legendary Warlock card that was just revealed via PCGamesN.
If you've missed any of the previously revealed cards, feel free to check them out here.
      Warlock's Blood-Queen Lana'thel
The new Legendary Warlock card synergizes with Cruel Dinomancer and cards like Doomguard, Soulfire up to Malchezaar's Imp & Silverware Golem. It doesn't even have Charge and due to ist high mana cost it cannot be deployed early.

Two more cards from Knights of the Frozen expansion were revealed and Blizzard communicated why there was just a single card reveal before that. The cards are Ice Breaker and Plague Scientist.
Three card reveals were scheduled for today and the reveal for the second and third card was delayed and the reason is that those reveals were all with partners that couldn't make it happen today due to various reasons.
      Blizzard (Source)
We originally had a few more card reveals for today, but the card reveals were all with partners and they unfortunately couldn't happen today due to a variety of issues. But good news! There will be two more card reveals tonight, so please look forward to them. There will also be more card reveals happening every day this week! The first card that was revealed is the Ticking Abomination and here are the next two:
      Shaman's Ice Breaker
Ice Breaker will synergize well with Frost Shock and we'll have to see Freeze effects of other cards first to determine its usefulness and full potential. Ice Breaker will be good for minion removal combined with Glacial Shard. For now, the card looks better than Shatter.

      Rogue's Plague Scientist
Provides Rogues with much needed board clear (hard removal). Synergizes well with Tentacle of N'Zoth, Wild Pyromancer. On the other hand for Constructed, it competes with Vilespine Slayer and SI:7 Agent that both seem to be better choices.
