Guild Rules

These rules apply to all guild hosted raid or dungeon groups unless otherwise stated by the group leader and should be used as ‘best practice’ when participating in pug activities. Any non-compliance with these rules and the leader of the group has the right to replace you on a temporary or permanent basis without warning. Consider this as your warning. The use of Ventrillo is a must and expected unless the group leader says it is not necessary. If you don’t feel comfortable talking on vent, that is fine, but you must be able to hear and understand the group leader. The use of DBM or some other boss mod such as BigWigs is mandatory. You are expected to participate on your main character unless the event is a specified alt run or the group leader has asked you to use an alt in the group.Do not speak on vent during fights (unless you are responsible for calling something out) or while tactics are being discussed / explained by the group leader. Save comments or jokes till after the group has wiped or the fight is over. DO NOT tell other players how to play their class. This only causes arguments. If you feel someone is doing something wrong or could improve, whisper the group leader Setup addons before the raid starts. Do not wait until you are in the instance to play with addons. Be online 20 minutes before the event starts. This gives the leader time to find replacements before the scheduled start time. Try and be online earlier just to rule out issues with delayed logins which may prevent you from being online on time. If you are not on 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, the group leader has every right to replace you. If you are replaced for any reason, the player who replaced you has the right to finish out the week in your spot.Any advertising for a place new guild will result in an instant /gkick. We will not help you gear up while you look for another guild. Attendance If you are a regular Raid team member, we expect 95% attendance for your regular organised event. Should you not be able to make an organised event which you have signed up for, prior notice of at least 2 hour must be given to your group leader or 3 hours if given an officer or via the guild website to allow a replacement to be found in time to prevent your attendance record being tarnished. 2) While we accept real life is more important than the wonderful game known as the "World of Warcraft" and we encourage member to prioritise real life over the game, being unable to attend on certain nights regularly will result in being demoted to the 'Backup" rank Raid/Group rules These rules apply to all guild hosted raid or dungeon groups unless otherwise stated by the group leader and should be used as ‘best practice’ when participating in pug activities. We will not help you gear up while you look for another guild. Guild Chat / Vent We are a mature guild so please expect a certain level of adult content in guild chat and on Ventrillo. If something is said in guild chat or vent that offends you in any way, please be mature and state that you do not like the tone / content of the discussion or if you are uncomfortable in doing so, ask an officer to say something. We are all mature people so saying something politely should be enough to steer the conversation in another direction. If you are participating in a conversation which someone has raised and objection and you want to continue the conversation as it is, please move it to a private vent channel or chat room. To make sure things run smoothly, here are a few rules. 1) Be respectful of others. Not everyone shares your views, nor should they have to. If you think what you’re about to say could cause some drama, don’t say it. 2) It is your responsibility to make others understand what you are trying to say. It is not the responsibility of others to understand you. E.g. "That is not what I meant" is not an excuse. 3) Racism, Sexism, Homophobic comments or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. First offence will receive a warning and possible demotion, repeat offence or extreme cases will receive an immediate gkick 4) Use the appropriate room/ channel on vent for your activity. E.g. Do not host a raid while using the lobby or private chat rooms. Likewise, do not hold a private chat in a raid room.

Classic WoW Guilds is a Discord server built for and by the community.

If you're a GM/Officer of your guild or you're a Player looking for a guild, Leadership of various guilds (now well over 20 guilds) have gotten together to form a new Discord server for recruitment and guild growth purposes. Still in it's infancy (240+ current members, 30+ members joining every day), we hope it will continue to grow and we welcome anyone to join in that effort.

Guild: Dawn of the Dead | http://www.dotd.org   Faction: Horde | Server: Zul'jin (PvE) | Timezone: EST   Current Progression: 4/8M Uldir   We've been raiding max size raids continuously since WoW has been released and are the only guild to have done so here on Zul'jin. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term, and we don't over-recruit.   Website: www.dotd.org
Raid Times: Our schedule is 8-11 EST Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Needs: We are a small guild, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. We don’t recruit people to sit around, so all spots are for raiders who can expect to be in most every raid.   We are currently looking to add skilled and reliable:   Ranged DPS:
      High: Warlock
      Medium: Mage, S.Priest, Boomkin
      1 Healer:
      High: MW Monk
*ALL exceptional applicants will be considered regardless of the class.   What we ask of you:   Effort: Not all applicants come from highly progressed guilds, and that’s okay, but it does mean that you need to be prepared. We recruit the player, not the gear, but we do ask that you have some current experience and be a minimum iLvl of 370. You need to have the best gear available to you, (BoE, Crafted) with gems and top end enchants. You also need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.   Attitude: It’s a game. We play for fun. How you fit in with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.   Skill: The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any logs, theorycrafting, or other work you've done.   Commitment: We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 20 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part so that we can each benefit.   We have a variety of informational resources available to prospective applicants on our web site: http://www.dotd.org-- please refer to our "Applications" forum for detailed information. Also feel free to visit us on WoWProgresss for more information and kill videos! http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/...wn+of+the+Dead   Should you wish to speak to someone in-game, please don't hesitate to reach out to an officer directly, whisper Xanah (Xana#1662) or Jeare (Jeare#1759).   We look forward to hearing from you soon!

      current progress 8/8 Heroic Uldir
Battle for Azeroth is here, and Fat Finger Dream Team is back and bigger than ever, eager to experience what the new expansion has in store for us.

      Who are we?
FFDT is a Horde guild located on Tarren Mill, consisting of around 20 players with different backgrounds in gaming. We enjoy a wide variety of in-game content, whether it be raids, mythic dungeons or PVP.
We’re a healthy mix of semi-competitive and chill people originating from all over Europe, age ranging from 22 to 34+. Many of us have played games together in the past, but we’re always looking for more people to strengthen our ranks, and would happily embrace you with our fat fingers.

      Goals & Schedule
After successfully creating a strong guild foundation back in Legion, we now strive to keep our community healthy while expanding it in order to be able to enjoy everything that the game has to offer.
Our initial goal in Battle for Azeroth is to clear Uldir on Heroic difficulty while preparing a Mythic raiding team at the same time.
Our raiding schedule is as follows: 2 times per week, on Thursdays from 7 pm to 10 pm and on Sundays from 6 pm to 9 pm Paris time.

      What we want from you
Good attitude - Be nice, be cool and cut down on your salt consumption. We prefer good attitude over numbers such as ilvls, achievements and scores. Communication - Be on Discord with us. Trust me, it makes raiding so much more enjoyable when you get to meet new people, of course without forgetting about some healthy shit talking! Attendance - Be able to attend at least once a week, preferably twice. Preparation for the raids - During progress runs it is expected that everyone has read guides and shows up with proper buffs. For hard content it is also advised to have studied class-specific guides. We are currently looking for flexible people with good game knowledge (both PvE and PvP) and mainly the following classes:
Druid (balance) Shaman (all specs) Death Knight (frost, unholy) Warlock (affliction) Monk (windwalker)
      tl;dr
      Join us

It would be awesome to have you onboard, so please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any questions you might have!
      yours truly,

      Lamme#1153
