hearthstone Tavern Brawl: Captain Blackheart's Treasure

This week's Tavern Brawl is called Captain Blackheart's Treasure. It is a repeat of the Brawl from November 18th last year. It is also the Brawl that was originally intended to preview the discover mechanic in October, but had to be withdrawn due to technical difficulties.

In this Brawl, each player chooses a class and is given a deck full of Bloodsail Raiders, although the card is simply called "Pirate" in the Brawl. Players do not draw a card as normal at the start of their turn, but instead they are offered a choice of three cards. The player chooses one of those cards and it is added to their hand.

I think this is a great Brawl to help people to get used to Arena. You don't have to play the card on the turn you choose it, and it helps you to learn to plan ahead. You also get to play with cards you may not always get the chance to use. As players don't have to build their own deck, it is suitable for people with small collections, or who are struggling to complete class related quests. For these reasons I feel it is one of the better repeat Brawls.

Year of the Mammoth Arena Guide now available!
Our Arena Guide has been updated by Pesty, to fully reflect the format for The Year of the Mammoth.
As well as the new tier list for classes, the guide addresses each class in detail, so that you can get the most out of your Arena draft. It also discusses which Mana curves work well with which class, and how to pick on your opponents' likely weaknesses.
The new Tier List is shown below:
Tier 1 (Excellent): Mage, Rogue Tier 2 (Great): Paladin, Hunter Tier 3 (Good): Druid, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Tier 4 (Average): Warrior For any feedback or questions about this guide, check out our Hearthstone General Discussion Forum, or comment in this thread.

The 97th Tavern Brawl is called 'An Ancient Recipe' and it offers players the chance to try out Journey to Un'Goro decks.
The rules of this Brawl are simple: you choose a hero and you get a premade deck with the Un'Goro deck recipe for that class. The deck archetypes are the following and we even have guides for most of them:
Quest Druid Dinomancer Hunter Elemental Mage (guide for almost identical deck here) Quest Paladin Quest Priest Quest Rogue Elemental Shaman Quest Warlock Quest Warrior All deck recipes have pretty good winning chances. This is a nice chance to play with cards you don't own and get to know the new Hearthstone expansion better.
