Luffy, known for his aggressive play style on ladder, has reached Legend with a tweak to the standard Face Shaman deck. While it is not unusual to see him make Legend this early, he was the first player to work on this deck, and so it is interesting to see his current version.

Aggressive decks are often considered to be better for early season ladder climbing, as they allow you to play more games. Win streaks favour the climb to rank five, even if your win rate is around 50%. Playing more games, therefore, gives you more win streaks, and so you climb the ladder faster. Of course, you should not sacrifice much in the way of win percentage simply to play more games, but if you can do as well with a faster deck, it is an efficient way to climb the ladder.

Luffy tweeted his decklist earlier today:

As you can see from his comment, Luffy's deck is very similar to his previous build. As usual, Sottle's in-depth guide will be fine for this deck if you were thinking of giving it a go.

      Jump into Hearthstone's tenth expansion!
The last expansion of the Year of the Raven is now live in all regions and we have compiled everything you need to know about it!
Rastakhan's Rumble introduces the new Overkill keyword and two different types of class cards - Spirits (Rare) and Loa (Legendary). As usual, each class will have two Legendaries: a Loa and the class Champion. The whole thematic of the expansion is that each class is a team of their own, so most class cards synergise well with each other. You can find all of the 135 cards revealed in our dedicated expansion hub.

Upon logging in, you will receive a bunch of free stuff. You will get one of the nine Legendary Loa, as well as two Spirits from the same class. You will also get 6 Rastakhan's Rumble packs for free - and an additional one if you participated in the voting that took place on the official site. These rewards won't be around forever, so grab them during the expansion's launch period!
The Rumble Run is the single-player adventure mode that accompanies this expansion. It will be released in 9 days from today, on December 13.
Don't forget to share your best pack openings, as well as some week 1 crazy decks that you like!
