hearthstone Hearthstone: Vexed Gaming Disbands

Vexed Gaming have left the esports scene due to sponsorship issues. While largely known for their CS:GO division, they had been building up a strong looking Hearthstone team in the last few months.

The Hearthstone team of Pelle5k, Faramir, and Vortex seeemd to be gearing up to become a notable force. Vortex, in particular, has been getting great results as of late. Most recently, he was the runner-up at Assembly Winter 2016.

Faramir broke the news of the team disbanding on Twitter:

Later, an article on HLTV carried the following statement from co-owner Frederik Vig:

"We’re sad to announce that the organization of Vexed Gaming is forced to release the players off their contracts with immediate effect. The reason for this decision has foundation in unfulfilled organizational expectations and a different view on the pace of the growth of the organization. The players have been performing more than well and we sincerely hope that they will find a new home, where they can improve even more."

Hopefully the players involved get signed quickly by new teams, and we wish them all the best.

The 97th Tavern Brawl is called 'An Ancient Recipe' and it offers players the chance to try out Journey to Un'Goro decks.
The rules of this Brawl are simple: you choose a hero and you get a premade deck with the Un'Goro deck recipe for that class. The deck archetypes are the following and we even have guides for most of them:
Quest Druid Dinomancer Hunter Elemental Mage (guide for almost identical deck here) Quest Paladin Quest Priest Quest Rogue Elemental Shaman Quest Warlock Quest Warrior All deck recipes have pretty good winning chances. This is a nice chance to play with cards you don't own and get to know the new Hearthstone expansion better.
