The final standings from Ranked Play Season 24 on the Europe and Americas servers have been published. Well known pro player Kolento finished on top of the list in Europe, while tripp makes his first visit to the Americas top 100 in style.

Kolento's record and reputation in tournaments caused him to be in our first Know your tournament players article, as he is one of the most famous players in the game. His amazing ladder record is often overlooked though. In EU, this is his third top placed finish, alongside two second places and a third. He also has numerous other top fifty finishes. Furthermore he has previously topped the Americas list, among five top ten finishes on that server. Sjow, Schtan Udachi, and Dethelor are the other major names in the top twenty.

Tripp, on the other hand, appears to have come out of nowhere. Hopefully Blizzard do an interview with him in a similar fashion to the one with Ishaan last month. Muzzy continues his great form, extending his run of top tens to four months in a row. Nostam, runner up in the Americas Winter Finals, looks to be back in the hunt with an 11th place finish, while several other big names also finished in the top twenty.

Year of the Mammoth Arena Guide now available!
Our Arena Guide has been updated by Pesty, to fully reflect the format for The Year of the Mammoth.
As well as the new tier list for classes, the guide addresses each class in detail, so that you can get the most out of your Arena draft. It also discusses which Mana curves work well with which class, and how to pick on your opponents' likely weaknesses.
The new Tier List is shown below:
Tier 1 (Excellent): Mage, Rogue Tier 2 (Great): Paladin, Hunter Tier 3 (Good): Druid, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Tier 4 (Average): Warrior For any feedback or questions about this guide, check out our Hearthstone General Discussion Forum, or comment in this thread.

The 97th Tavern Brawl is called 'An Ancient Recipe' and it offers players the chance to try out Journey to Un'Goro decks.
The rules of this Brawl are simple: you choose a hero and you get a premade deck with the Un'Goro deck recipe for that class. The deck archetypes are the following and we even have guides for most of them:
Quest Druid Dinomancer Hunter Elemental Mage (guide for almost identical deck here) Quest Paladin Quest Priest Quest Rogue Elemental Shaman Quest Warlock Quest Warrior All deck recipes have pretty good winning chances. This is a nice chance to play with cards you don't own and get to know the new Hearthstone expansion better.
