hearthstone Hearthstone: Xixo Reaches Rank One Legend With ShtanUdachi's Tempo Warrior Deck

One of the decks that has been going sneakily well in the last week is ShtanUdachi's Tempo Warrior deck. SchtanUdachi himself has reached top ten with the deck, but Xixo has reached Rank One Legend playing it on the Europe server.

ShtanUdachi is a regular high finisher on ladder, and it is no surprise to see him come up with a deck capable of doing so well. The deck is an unusual one, and tricky to play effectively. It relies on weapons and Execute to aid in keeping the board clear, which makes room for efficient minions to be played on curve. It uses parts of the Patron draw engine to keep the pain coming, and finishes the game with a selection of powerful minions. ShtanUdachi tweeted the decklist a few days ago when he reached 6th place with it. Xixo's list removed one Kor'kron Elite to make room for a second Piloted Shredder, but otherwise it is the same deck that ShtanUdachi tweeted.

It will be interesting to see if he can hold onto top spot until the end of the month.

Sottle will have a deck guide available by the end of the week.

Year of the Mammoth Arena Guide now available!
Our Arena Guide has been updated by Pesty, to fully reflect the format for The Year of the Mammoth.
As well as the new tier list for classes, the guide addresses each class in detail, so that you can get the most out of your Arena draft. It also discusses which Mana curves work well with which class, and how to pick on your opponents' likely weaknesses.
The new Tier List is shown below:
Tier 1 (Excellent): Mage, Rogue Tier 2 (Great): Paladin, Hunter Tier 3 (Good): Druid, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Tier 4 (Average): Warrior For any feedback or questions about this guide, check out our Hearthstone General Discussion Forum, or comment in this thread.

The 97th Tavern Brawl is called 'An Ancient Recipe' and it offers players the chance to try out Journey to Un'Goro decks.
The rules of this Brawl are simple: you choose a hero and you get a premade deck with the Un'Goro deck recipe for that class. The deck archetypes are the following and we even have guides for most of them:
Quest Druid Dinomancer Hunter Elemental Mage (guide for almost identical deck here) Quest Paladin Quest Priest Quest Rogue Elemental Shaman Quest Warlock Quest Warrior All deck recipes have pretty good winning chances. This is a nice chance to play with cards you don't own and get to know the new Hearthstone expansion better.
