Vengence DH leveling ? how is it ?

i there I'm new to forums here, I have watched many streams and videos about Demon Hunter specs, I was planning to level a demon hunter as a main class, and I wanted to know how is Vengeance spec doing in leveling ? is it worth leveling in DH's tanking spec ? or would it take too much time compared to Havoc ? I remember devs saying at Legion annoucement that tanking specs and healing specs would have their damage increased to allow them level up faster.

 

So anyone tried leveling up as Vengeance DH yet ?

It's really hard to say, since they are still balancing the abilities. Currently, there are absolutely no problems with Vengeance damage. It's strong, but it might change. They will balance a lot of stuff in the run up to the release, so I'll try give a further update later into the Beta.

 

For now though, you could definitely level as a DH tank with no problems.

I have seen some interesting abilities on the Havoc spec that don't seem to be on the Vengeance spec ... strange ! Eye beam seems cool though, but I don't think it's on the Vengeance spec either.

Eye beam is just insanely strong, it's a good thing that it can be interrupted in PvP.

Yeah pretty much. Your sigils can also help with this, given that you can stack them and then hit them hard with the huge AoE debuff.

I also know what to level up, I just hope Blizzard won't make it overpowered or too weak. I have always been a fan of dual wielding :-)

And when are we getting Demon Hunter class guide on Icy Veins ?

At the moment, there isn't much point in making a guide because so much will change. We will most likely wait until Blizzard starts to finalise their choices in regards to balancing and then release our guides. They will be ready in time for players to use them on their Demon Hunters, but it just isn't worth making right now.

Hopefully we'll see some final changes soon that will then stay that way until launch. We'll see!
