The World Division of StarSeries 2 is complete, and we now know the six players from that division who will go to the offline finals.

Three of the four qualifiers from the groups entered the event at the first phase. This meant they had to survive a double elimination qualifier, and then survive two further group stages. Those players were   DrHippi,   Xixo, and   Hoej. It is worth noting that DrHippi went 7-0 against many of the best players in the world in these stages.   JAB, who had a bye to the second phase, was the other qualifier from this section. The format for all phases of the event was best of seven Conquest with a ban.

The other two qualifiers came from the last chance event. These were   StanCifka and   Naiman. The six qualifiers will be joined by two qualifiers from the China Division in Shanghai on 8th July.

Year of the Mammoth Arena Guide now available!
Our Arena Guide has been updated by Pesty, to fully reflect the format for The Year of the Mammoth.
As well as the new tier list for classes, the guide addresses each class in detail, so that you can get the most out of your Arena draft. It also discusses which Mana curves work well with which class, and how to pick on your opponents' likely weaknesses.
The new Tier List is shown below:
Tier 1 (Excellent): Mage, Rogue Tier 2 (Great): Paladin, Hunter Tier 3 (Good): Druid, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Tier 4 (Average): Warrior For any feedback or questions about this guide, check out our Hearthstone General Discussion Forum, or comment in this thread.

The 97th Tavern Brawl is called 'An Ancient Recipe' and it offers players the chance to try out Journey to Un'Goro decks.
The rules of this Brawl are simple: you choose a hero and you get a premade deck with the Un'Goro deck recipe for that class. The deck archetypes are the following and we even have guides for most of them:
Quest Druid Dinomancer Hunter Elemental Mage (guide for almost identical deck here) Quest Paladin Quest Priest Quest Rogue Elemental Shaman Quest Warlock Quest Warrior All deck recipes have pretty good winning chances. This is a nice chance to play with cards you don't own and get to know the new Hearthstone expansion better.
