[Ravencrest][A] <Materia> Raiding guild recruiting (3 days/week)

6 posts in this topic

Hello Ravencrest, Materia here!

Materia is a new guild that wants to create a community that shares a passion for progressing through Legion raids. First goal for us is to get a solid roster of people who enjoy playing together, while progressing through Emerald Nightmare and Nighthold on the highest possible difficulty that our guild's roster is capable of doing. It should be clear that we won't jump right in to mythic as for that we need to see what players can actually prove their skill and dedication towards raiding. Although we will start raiding mythic as soon as possible, and that is meant to be done as soon as possible. We think team spirit is very essential for motivation to progress through raids. We stop at no obstacle, we will conquer all bosses in all difficulty settings in Legion, no matter what it takes!

We are looking for skilled and dedicated players interested in endgame raiding who can raid on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings, starting at 20 server time except Sundays for progressing reasons we start at 19 server time. We end raids around 23:00 server time. Further information of raiding and raid schedule you can find on our website: www.materiagaming.com. We wish to keep a raid group as close to 20 as possible, so we can guarantee as many raid spots that we can. Our guild has Elite Knight status (core raider) which means that loyal, active raiding members of Materia will have a spot over lesser ranked people in the guild. A group of 20-25 players attending to most of the raids is what we aim for. For mythic the goal is obviously to get 20 man core team, with few people sitting on bench as well. Possible 2nd raid group is a possibility in the future, for those who can't make it to the core mythic team. But priority for now is to get that core group running. Social's and raider's friends are always welcome as well, just don't expect them to get any spot in the raids, unless they prove themselves etc. More about that can be asked from an officer or check our discord etc.

What we want from you?

We want you to be a positive person who is ready to give your best at raids. We don’t expect you to be perfect. Mistakes happen, but learning from them is essential. We don’t expect you to be the best player out there but it is always good idea to aim to be the better than you were last time. Compete against yourself first, not others. We take wellbeing very seriously and will not tolerate any ill activity against any guild member. Although you should be ready to take constructive criticism from the lead. You can always make jokes of all kinds but you can’t be disrespectful. Having toxic/negative attitude towards other guild members will do you no good. There is absolutely no room for racism or discrimination in the guild. Serious acts of abuse will get you kicked from the guild.

What we offer?

We offer you a strong community that will grow to a very solid bunch, that will eventually try to reach high realm/world ranks. We are serious about raiding and will eventually clear all legion raiding content. We give you a guild that will progress and give it’s all to finish all of Legion raids. We raid 3 times per week for 3-4 hours per raid. Reasoning behind this is that 10 hours should be enough to clear old kills easily and still leave time to train new bosses and make progress. And of course those sweet in-game goodies, for example sweet repairs, flaks etc. When we manage to grow the guild bank. Also hopefully you'll find some new great friends, and I'm sure you will! Although, that's what "Strong community" means as well.

If you need to talk to us in game: You can contact our heavenly officer "Huiska" (Bnet: Zavorack#2394), if Huiska is not online or someting, or if you'd rather contact me you can do it by whispering "Mouru" (Bnet: TashiWashi#2478)

Bump, mostly looking for great ranged DPS and few healers possibly, also melee is welcome but it's a bit full, ofc for heroic there's room for any good dps, but have to fight for the spot for core group that's going to run mythic, but not many have spots yet so it's not hard to prove yourself still no matter what you're playing!

      About us:
Gordian Knot is a 20-man semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.
We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 70% attendance per month.
We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.
      Currently :
We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays. Also, every Friday and sometimes Saturdays too, we're on RBGs killing alliance scums!
Saturdays are generally left for those RBGs or older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 10/10 on Nighthold heroic and 4/10 on mythic, and we're focusing on Mythic Progress at the moment!
If you're interested in joining Gordian Knot, please fill in our application form, located at http://gordian-knot.eu/apply/, alternatively please whisper Athlioss@Draenor or add my battletag Athlios#2283.
PS. We're always open to group applications or guild merging discussions.
We are also open and welcome social applications.

Critical Experiment of Draenor EU - a late night raid guild
      Current progression:
      -The Nighthold 1/10M, 10/10H
      -The Emerald Nightmare 3/7M
      -Trial of Valor 3/3H
Current Recruitment can be found at : http://critexp.enjin.com/recruitment
-note: We will consider all good applications
      -socials are welcome to join.
Critical Experiment is based on the Horde side of Draenor - est 2007. We are a late night raiding guild. We are looking for mature players with good knowledge of their class and role within a raid environment.
We raid after the usual hours (22.30-01.00 server time sometimes to 01:30) 2+1 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday as a progress night). We are mature players who have other commitments at 'normal' raid times, so we take the opportunity to get together and play at a later hour.
What you can expect to get from us?
      * We aim to clear all content atleast on Heroic difficulty. When we can, on top of that we try getting some Mythic kills too.
      * A relaxed but firm raiding atmosphere.
      * A group of skilled raiders who enjoy seeking progression in PvE raiding.
      * A friendly home. Our members are sociable players and enjoy raiding old content, doing challenge mode, achievement runs and alts runs wherever possible. As such, a raiders friends/family are welcome in CE
      * A semi-hardcore raiding guild whose aim is to use our limited hours in the best way that we can, maintaining progress with a decent atmosphere.
      * We provide all "raiders" with free repairs from the Guild Bank 24/7. Members can also make use of the extensive mats available in the Guild Bank, all of which are provided for raiding.
What do we expect from you if you raid with us?
      * Maturity in both age and attitude towards your fellow team mates (Don’t bother applying if you’re under the age of 17, we will most likely decline,)
      * A solid internet connection and a solid gaming rig to raid on (You’re useless to us if your connection drops out every encounter or your system cannot handle the FPS)
      * A high level of skill and sensible raiding. Know your role, class and the encounters.
      * Punctuality - Showing up for raids in good time and being well prepared with flasks, food buffs, etc (though supplied by gb better be safe then sorry).
      * Be active on the Guild forums. Engage in tactics discussion and socialise with the Guild.
      * Able to attend minimum 2/3 of raids scheduled raids per week (If not, we will remove your raider status or fail your trial if accepted to CE; progress night attendance is really important for the core)
      * You’re able to take constructive criticism during raids and subsequently able to use that criticism to improve your level of skill, and play.
      * We expect all members to be able to connect to "Discord". Mic is optional.
For questions, feel free to contact one of the current Officers of Crit exp in game or on our forums (Where you can also apply to Critical Experiment)

About Almost Heroes: [Formed in December 2016]
We believe in pushing content at a pace that is comfortable but still competitive. By the end of Nighthold progression, we intend to be sub US 50 for 2 day guilds, and unlike most guilds that you will see in the recruitment forums, we are going to do what it takes to get there. When you join Almost Heroes, you can expect to fully clear each tier.
Our definition of hardcore raiding is making the most out of our time together. Since we only raid 8 hours each week, it is up to each member to come completely prepared for the fights that we'll be working on. Raiders are expected to be highly self-motivated, and willing to find out the latest theorycraft data on their classes. Raiders should always be pushing themselves to improve with each raid week, and should never be satisfied with their performance.
Every raider is required to have at least one raid-ready alt that they can play just as well as their main for split runs and/or better comp selections. Your alt must also cover the same role as your main. For example, healer/healer, tank/tank, etc. We assist in gearing these alts through our main runs. If you don't have an alt yet, don't let that stop you from applying! We do not require our applicants to have their alts ready at the time of their app.
Current Roster Needs for Mythic Tomb of Sargeras: (Updated 5/21/17)
We are currently filling any holes in our roster for Tomb, because of this we are openly recruiting most ranged and melee DPS classes.
      Specific Need for:
Resto Druid high need Resto Shaman high need Disc Priest high need Balance Druid high need Rogue high need All exceptional players are encouraged to apply regardless of what we're currently recruiting
      Recruitment:
We do not recruit for the bench, if your application is accepted it means that we believe that there is a spot that can be earned, unless we mention otherwise on your application.
All applications are handled on our website. When submitted, check back on it often, we'll be asking you questions and will follow up with you through it. Put time and effort on your application, it's our first (and often only) impression of you. Make it count!
