The Ranked Play results for July 2016 have been published by Blizzard. It was the final month of the Summer Season, and the Hearthstone Championship Points have also been updated to show which players qualifier for the Summer Preliminary.

The top spot went to TicTac. TicTac had previously made a bit of a splash by reaching #1 Legend early in the post-Whispers meta with Priest of all things. He is a consistent performer, who can regularly be found chatting in analysis heavy Twitch streams. This time around he took the top slot using Aggro Shaman from Legend Rank 400 all the way up to 1. He was more than one game ahead of the second ranked player, and was in no danger of being caught in the final minutes.

Other notable players in the top 25 included Senfglas, Xixo, GeorgeC, Rdu, and StanUdachi. With the European Preliminary taking place this weekend, those players will fancy their chances.

The HCT list contains nearly every notable player in Europe, and as such is not worth listing all of the notables. To check if your favourite is playing, simply click the link and see if they are in the top 128.

Topping the list is Greensheep of Team Dignitas. Greensheep previously made the top 16 of the World Championship in 2014 and is in pole position to have a shot at the Championship event.

The Europe Summer Preliminary will be streamed live on Twitch on twitch.tv/playhearthstone's channel on August 13-14. Both days run from 14:00 to 22:00 CEST. Sottle and myself from Icy Veins will both be on the casting desk for the event.

The team has finally responded to the community's concerns on the new Shaman legendary minion.
Two weeks after The Witchwood's release, Team 5 has addressed the issues surrounding Shudderwock. Its animation will go faster and it will cap at 20 Battlecries. Hopefully, it will be less of a nuisance now. Lifedrinker will also receive a bump on its animation speed.
I assume the fix will go live on April 26 along with the Monster Hunt.
      Jesse Hill
Recently, our players have had feedback regarding the Shaman card, Shudderwock. We understand that the length of its Battlecry animation and other animations spawned from its Battlecry can be frustrating. In a future update, we will be doubling the animation speed of Shudderwock’s Battlecry so it will lessen the impact on the overall pacing of your current Hearthstone match. In addition, the amount of Battlecries Shudderwock can reproduce will be capped at 20.
We will also be speeding up the animation of Lifedrinker for similar reasons.
Thank you for your feedback, and we’ll see you in the Tavern.
      Cheers!

The rewards are different for each rank. You receive the chest for the best rank you achieve, so do not be afraid of dropping a rank. Additionally, after reaching a milestone rank (ranks in bold), you will not fall below them that season again. This means that if you lose a game at rank 15 with 0 stars, you will not drop to rank 16, but rather stay at rank 15 with no stars.
      Rank Reward 25-21 None 20 1 golden common, 5 dust 19 1 golden common, 10 dust 18 1 golden common, 15 dust 17 1 golden common, 20 dust 16 1 golden common, 25 dust 15 1 golden common, 1 golden rare, 5 dust 14 1 golden common, 1 golden rare, 10 dust 13 1 golden common, 1 golden rare, 15 dust 12 1 golden common, 1 golden rare, 20 dust 11 1 golden common, 1 golden rare, 25 dust 10 2 golden commons, 1 golden rare, 5 dust 9 2 golden commons, 1 golden rare, 10 dust 8 2 golden commons, 1 golden rare, 15 dust 7 2 golden commons, 1 golden rare, 20 dust 6 2 golden commons, 1 golden rare, 25 dust 5 2 golden commons, 1 golden epic, 5 dust 4 2 golden commons, 1 golden epic, 10 dust 3 2 golden commons, 1 golden epic, 15 dust 2 2 golden commons, 1 golden epic, 20 dust 1 2 golden commons, 1 golden epic, 25 dust Legend 3 golden commons, 1 golden epic You also receive a card back for winning 5 games during the season.
