Our Wild decks Hearthstone section is going to be given a facelift by the newest member to join the Icy Veins team, Pesty!

Some of you may already know who Pesty is, but for those of you that don't, he is a Hearthstone player from the UK; he has participated and triumphed in numerous tournaments around the country and rest of the world. He streams his Hearthstone gameplay over on his Twitch, as well as giving updates on his schedule and tournament results on his Twitter.

In recent months, our Wild section has been slightly neglected due to the huge amount of work that watching two metas requires from our other guide writer, Sottle. We have teamed up with Pesty to ensure that both sections are handled with equal attention and care. Sottle will still be handling our Standard decks section, while Pesty will work exclusively on the Wild sections.

His first updates to the section come in the form of four newly added decks. You can check them out below:

Enjoy the new decks and we can't wait to hear your feedback on these 4, as well as all the others still to come!

Oh - great!  I've never wanted to abandon the Wild format, but it seemed abandoned here - super pleased that you guys have got someone on it.  Danke!

We were getting more and more comments/people wanting to try Wild, so we felt it was only right to give you guys the quality you are used to elsewhere on the site!

Love this! I have been playing some of my old pre-standard decks in Wild lately, and a lot of them just don't feel right due to the waves of nerfs. I am especially happy to see Malygos Warlock revived and updated. Keep up the good work Pesty!

Dave Kosak introduces us to the Monster Hunt, which will be available in a week.
The Lead Mission Designer was joined by two of his associates to discuss the newest PvE mode, which will come along with The Witchwood. Paul Nguyen talked about the four heroes. Tess Greymane has a Hero Power that lets her Discover any class card that has been played in a game (by both players) and add it to your hand.
Darius Crowley has an indestructible cannon minion that can be activated via Darius' Hero Power and fire at the minions across it. Positioning will matter, as you can kill two enemy minions at once and the Hero Power will refresh each time you kill a minion with your cannon. There weren't any details on Houndmaster Shaw or Toki, Time-Tinker, but it was hinted that the former hero will have something to do with Rush (just like its card counterpart).
Giovanni Scarpati discussed bosses and treasures. The Monster Hunt will feature over 45 unique boss encounters. As Ben Brode had revealed in an earlier interview, each hero will have its own final boss, called "nemesis fight". For Crowley it's Lord Godfrey, for Shaw it's Glinda Crowskin and for Toki it's her own future self! When you clear the Monster Hunt with all four heroes (and win four packs), you get to face Hagatha as the last boss. Ultimately, as far as the treasures are concerned, there are a few returning ones from the Dungeon Run, but most are new. There are also hero exclusive treasures, as well as unique treasures "dropping" from rare boss encounters.
You should definitely watch the video to get a glimpse of all the new stuff coming with the Monster Hunt. And don't forget: it's release date is April 26 at 10:00 am PDT!

      Ready for Action
If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds & Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will be eerily familiar—but much is different! Rather than choosing one of Hearthstone’s nine classes, you’ll take on the role of one of four veteran monster hunters, each with a special ability that you’ll need to make the most of if you hope to survive the hunt.
Your hunter will venture deep into the Witchwood on Hagatha’s trail, defeating a series of monstrous bosses who dare to cross your path. With each victory, you’ll build a stronger and stronger deck with the items you find. You may encounter some trusty old equipment out in the forest, but much of what you’ll find will be entirely new, including treasures unique to certain foes. Each monster hunter has their own favorite tricks—a special hero power or ability that you’ll need to master if you hope to survive the hunt. Each hunter also carries a grudge against a heinous nemesis in the woods: a unique boss that only they can track down to fight.

You’ll want to go on a Monster Hunt with every hunter, because each offers a quest that will earn you a Witchwood card pack. And if you’ve got the mettle to complete the Monster Hunt with all four hunters, you’ll finally have a chance to face off with the real witch in the woods: Hagatha! If you can free the wood from Hagatha’s curse, you’ll earn the gratitude of Gilneas and the Monster Hunter card back!

We hope you enjoyed learning more of what lurks ahead in Monster Hunt! We’re eager to hear your tales of The Witchwood on social media using the #Witchwood hashtag. Learn more about The Witchwood at TheWitchwood.com!
We’ll see you on the hunt!
