We are looking for a transmogrification writer to help curate our transmog section.

We need someone who is a fan of transmogrification and has transmogrification experience on all or most classes. Having a blog or something to showcase that is a definite plus. We also want someone with a lot of free time (output is important, because there is so much to cover).

As always, when we post this kind of offers, this is a paid position with earnings shared between us and the writer on the guides and articles they will write.

Applicants should send an e-mail to jobs@icy-veins.com with as many details as possible. The deadline for applying is the 2nd of November at 00:00 GMT.

This would be AWESOME! Wish it was something I could help with. But, I look forward to the finished product. I check your transmog guide weekly hoping to see what Legion has to offer. Best of Luck!

This would be awesome if I could come up with anything creative to write ><!

I love creating mogs, I even ran a Tumblr on them http://aerithissamoongrove.tumblr.com/

As you can what I had to write wasn't to creative! I look forward to seeing what's put up though!

As long as you've got the fashion sense to make us all look fabulous, I'm sure it'll be OK! ;D

I have no blogs, but, I do have experience writing Missions and quests for an MMO that was in development. I often did proof reading for the lore team aswell. Not sure if that would even remotely qualify me or not though.

It's always something that you can put down, just in case it does come down to a close comparison!

Has a transmog writer been selected yet? Is it too late to apply?

The deadline has indeed passed, but an incredible application might still be looked at. Only the best of the best will be considered post-deadline though.

Could you be the next writer to join the team?
We are currently looking for a new writer to join our team and fill the role of an Overwatch guide writer. Check out the requirements and how to apply here!
      Hello everyone!
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for some fresh blood to enter our growing team behind the scenes of Icy Veins. We are looking to revamp and update our Overwatch section with the aid of a well-experienced flex player. Your role as a guide writer will be to use your extensive knowledge of in-game mechanics and the current competitive meta to efficiently detail strategies on how to play each hero.
This will be a paid position. The nature of payment will evolve as the section of the site does, with remuneration starting in the form of shared revenues based on revenues from the guides you will be writing.
In order to be considered for the position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
You should have a strong grasp of the current meta in Overwatch at all levels of play, ranging from Bronze to Grand Master. You will be writing to help players of all skill levels, so it is important to understand what is needed of a player at different skill rating brackets. You should be confident in your ability to perform in every role in Overwatch, capable of playing any hero at your current skill rating bracket. Ideally, you should be currently ranked in Grand Master, with similar final skill ratings in previous seasons. You should have a strong mastery of written English, since you will be writing guides in English. You should be confident in your passion for Overwatch, since we will expect you to stay up-to-date on any meta shifts and changes by playing regularly. To apply for the position, simply send us an e-mail at jobs@icy-veins.com. The deadline for applications is the 4th December, 2017, at 23:59 CET, which is 3 weeks from the time of publication. After the deadline, we will start to respond to candidates and organise interviews for the best applicants. You will not hear back from us before the deadline.
Good luck everyone and we look forward to reading your applications!
