[Kil'Jaeden] [H] <Roadrunners> (7/7M 2/3M 3/10M) LF Holy Paladin

Recommended Posts

Raid Schedule:

Tues-Thurs, 7:30pm-11:30pm PST

About our Guild:

Roadrunners formed at the start of Wrath. Raiding on a short schedule(3 days), we are able to stay competitive by making effective use of our raid time. Loot is handled fairly with a loot council. We aim for a raiding roster of 25 players who are able to maintain a high level of play and attendance. We are making a concerted effort to push our rank into the top 100 US for Legion. We are looking for progression minded players who want to raid on a shorter schedule.

Our Raiders:

Roadrunners is full of mature players who love to play WoW. They have a great understanding of the game/class mechanics and are always willing to help new recruits out. Active alts are always encouraged and we even have a few alt raids that run every week. Many of our players are very avid gamers and play other games as well.

About our Server:

Kil'jaeden has been around since Vanilla and has always been a high population server. The server is always busy with an active trade chat and auction house. Pug groups for raids and rbgs are constantly forming.

Applying:
If you want to apply with Roadrunners please visit rrkj.enjin.com and follow the Application guidelines and template.

Trial Expectations:

If you are accepted for trial you are expected to be in guild and ready to raid by the next reset. Each player is expected to have their own source of food/flasks. Trial periods typically last 2-4 weeks, during which you will receive plenty of raid time so that your play can be evaluated. We expect you have a working mic and are able to communicate clearly should something happen during an encounter. Being able to take constructive criticism is a must. We are looking for progression minded players who want to raid on a shorter schedule. Class knowledge and prior raid experience is a huge plus.

Questions:

If you have any questions about joining our guild feel free to pop on over to our server and ask us. Most raiding members will be able to answer your questions or direct you to someone online who can. Our guild members and officers are always happy to speak to you, so feel free to add one of our wonderful and knowledgeable officers, Cudlebumkins (doggysaywhat#1288), Falaenx (Falaenx#1333), and Hersheys (Hersheys#1791). Thank you for taking your time to consider our guild.

Formally the Alliance Guild Fepix back in legion, we are an English-speaking guild that moved over to Kazzak-horde to enjoy the higher population. We are currently working to further increase our roster in preparation for shadowlands.
We are a social guild who raid heroic but focus more on Mythic+ dungeon content. We cater both to stronger players that want to clear Heroic quickly/push high mythic+ keys and also less experienced players that want to progress Heroic at their own pace, providing the infrastructure and resources for them to improve.

      About us:
-We are currently clearing 2 heroic Ny’alotha lockouts a week and this will continue forwards to future raid tiers. We have one experienced team going for fast and efficient speed kills for weekly loot and another team taking the raid at more of a relaxed pace to gear alts/improve gameplay in a chill progression-style environment.

-Our main focus is mythic + keystones, we always have several members online in the evenings willing to help with a range of keystones, whether it’s helping a newer player/alt through a sub 10 key or more experienced players pushing higher 15 and above keys. One of our Officers has built and maintains and discord bot that helps set up Mythic+ keys and allows people to sign up for them.

-We have a pool of strong and experienced M+ players that are pushing keys every Monday/Sunday evening 20:00-23:00 server time in a social environment. These players are currently pushing 3k io and are working on timing more 20 and above keys. We’re always keen to recruit like minded players to potentially form more mythic plus teams!

-We offer players the chance to create their own Mythic+ teams within the guild, offering personal voice chats and text chats locked to your team members. These teams will be run by the individuals within them. Just find the friends you enjoy playing with and talk to an officer to set up your own team

-One of our Officers also runs regular events including Glory Achievements or other mount farms. This usually takes place on a Saturday evening. This is open to the entire community and is a very fun way to add to that mount total!

-We are also very happy to help new or returning players. We have created several resources such as our patch 8.3 guide consisting of gearing, general m+ tips and more. This google doc is accessed through our discord. One of our dedicated officers continues to write new guides, as well as running coaching sessions when requested!
We also have a dedicated guides channel in our discord and several very experienced players with extensive mythic experience that are eager to give advice, help gear up, or to support you through learning harder content.

      Raiding:
We run two Heroic Ny’alotha clears a week across 3 days. Note there is no requirement for our raiders to raid each evening, we encourage you to attend the events that best suit you.

Thursday 20:00-23:00 server time: This is a fast clear for cloak upgrades and specific drops. This is for geared characters who are confident with the tactics to quickly farm the required bosses in one evening. This can include the first 3 bosses of mythic.

Friday and Sunday 20:00-23:00 server time: This is a much more relaxed run that is designed to give the less experienced and geared members a chance to get into raiding and to develop their skills. More experienced members are welcome to play alts and to help support the less experienced guys in learning the ropes.

We don’t expect raiders to be cutting edge material, but we do look for the following:
-Eager to improve and respond positively to advice
-Effective preparation with consumables, gems and enchants
-Punctuality, regular attendance and effective communication of absences
-Reasonable knowledge of your class and its utility.
-Have reasonable output relative to your gear level.
      -Good vibes.

      Community:
Like most guilds, we operate mostly on discord with our raid sign ups also managed there, all other resources and announcements are posted on our server. This is also where you’ll find the banter, memes and other guildies that will be happy to arrange to do content with you!
We have a big social aspect to the guild therefore you will often find people chilling in both the voice and text channels throughout the day, so don’t be afraid to come and say hey!

      How to join:
Feel free to add me on discord or battle.net to discuss your recruitment or ask any questions.
      You can find me at:

We’re a large guild originally from retail WoW (Tichondrius) looking to transition into Classic WoW raiding and build upon our 300+ players. We have 2 different raid groups.  Leadership and community consist of individuals that have been playing together for over a decade! Our immediate goal is to round out our roster for clearing AQ40.  Currently in need of Druids and Holy Paladins, but everyone can earn their way into a consistent 40-man raid group.  We will conduct a loot council for our raids to ensure the most deserving of individuals are rewarded for their hard work.
We’re looking for high active, extremely dedicated, top performing players that are looking for a new home to kick it.
      Recruiting:
      Druids
      Palidins

      Raid Information:
      Times:
      Team 1 - Tues/Thurs 8-11pm EST.
      Team 2 - Thurs/Sun 8-11pm EST.
      Loot: Loot Council
Off Days- BiS dungeon runs and professions farming

      Expectations & Guild Rules:
      - No “spergy” behavior or the use of “gamer” words
      - Be prepared and knowledgeable
      - For raids and guild functions, be on time and reliable
      - Be a selfless player. The guild comes first
      - Strive to be the best version of yourself. Being content as a mediocre player is not acceptable

Been playing as 29/11/0 so far, extra crit heals is obviously good for keeping my team alive.

However, I never go OOM, so I want to get some more burst damage. What is the best way to make a hybrid paladin?
Holy shock with spell power? I want to do burst damage when my heals get interrupted, so holy shock might be bad.

7 Prot is the bare minimum for me, Imp Freedom is so strong.
18 Prot is also very strong, extra stuns together with grenades is powerful for BGs.
25 Prot for reckoning might be the best burst damage available, you could even heal with a 2hander. But this requires alot of investment and SETUP.

How good is SoC for a 1hander? Spell power gear? Maybe using Thrash Blade to do melee damage while healing geared.

What kind of gear? Spell power or strength?

<Fun is for Casuals> is a serious but casual horde guild on US-Hyjal. We are serious about raiding without the intense hours. Even when recruitment status is none, we will accept exceptional applications for all classes. For a full list of what we're looking for check out https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com .
Our raid times are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM server (PST) with raid invitations sent out a few minutes prior to that.

We're interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
Raid attendance is essential. We don't want people sitting on the bench but we also want to make sure we're raiding 6 hours per week. We expect you to be available for at least 90% of our raids. Be on time and prepared for raids. This includes flasks and other consumables. Discord is mandatory and a working mic is desired. You're appropriately geared for our current content. Effort and thought have been put into your gear/gem/enchant choices. You wouldn't show up for a job interview looking like a scrub, why would you apply to a guild with improper gems or some insane spec? You're up to date with your class. We expect our raiders to perform to the best of their abilities. You have a computer that's not run with hamster power or requires a hand crank. Some encounters are taxing on a computer's resources so if your toon can't even handle Orgrimmar it's not likely to do well with 20+ whelps that need AOE'ing.
You may be interested in us because:
<Fun is for Casuals> uses the personal loot system. There is no loot council, or DKP. We won't eat your babies the first time you stand in something you have no business being in. Repeatedly do it and we'll break out the bibs and BBQ sauce. We provide a limited amount of consumables and flasks on hard mode raid nights. Discord isn't a circus during raids. We're focused on the job at hand and you should be too. We don't want someone to miss a an interrupt because they were distracted by fart jokes. We are not interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
You roll on BoE items then sell them. Unwilling/unable to spend an entire evening on one boss during progression. While this is rare, it can happen. Drama queens. If you have a problem bring it up to E. This is his job. Don't announce it in guild chat or during a raid. Your issue will have nothing to do with 99% of the guild. You are 17 or younger. We try to keep guild and discord chat PG-13 but occasionally a few four letter words appear out of nowhere. Additionally, we don't want someone's mom interrupting their raiding to get homework or the dishes done. Follow the instructions at https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com/ under the Recruitment tab if you would like to apply.
If you have any question, feel free to contact E. at DbD#1309
