The latest 7.3 build opened the last Argus zone for testing, enabled the Netherlight Crucible and as usual, we looked at the latest class changes and Tier 21 tuning.

Achievements

New Faction - Argussian Reach

A new faction was added to the game. There's a new tabard and several Argus Talbuk mounts to add to your collection at Revered.

We strongly recommend reading blue posts from yesterday about Feral Druid // Frost Death Knight // Frost Mage changes.

Death Knight

Frost Death KnightFrost Death Knight spec aura increased to 25% (up from 3%).

  • Breath of SindragosaBreath of Sindragosa - Continuously deal [ 1 + 316% 287.5 of Attack Power ] Shadowfrost damage every 1 sec to enemies in a cone in front of you. Deals reduced damage to secondary targets. You will continue breathing until your Runic Power is exhausted or you cancel the effect.
  • Freezing FogFreezing Fog - Howling Blast and Frost Fever deal 20% 30% increased damage.
  • Frozen PulseFrozen Pulse - While you have fewer than 2 full Runes, your auto attacks radiate intense cold, inflicting [ 1 + 40% 66% of Attack Power ] Frost damage on all nearby enemies. Talent moved to level 90 (was level 57).
  • Glacial AdvanceGlacial Advance is now a level 58 talent (was level 100).
  • Horn of WinterHorn of Winter - cooldown increased to 45 seconds (was 30 seconds).
  • Hungering Rune WeaponHungering Rune Weapon - talent moved to level 100 (was level 58), now also grants 20% haste, but the effect was reduced to last 12 seconds (down from 15).
  • Icy TalonsIcy Talons - Frost Strike also increases your melee attack speed by 15% 20% for 6 sec, stacking up to 3 times.
  • Inexorable AssaultInexorable Assault - new level 75 talent. For every 2 seconds spent in combat without melee attacking, you gain a stack of Inexorable Assault. Each stack causes your next autoattack to deal [ 300% of Attack Power ] additional Frost damage.
  • Murderous EfficiencyMurderous Efficiency - Consuming the Killing Machine effect has a 50% 65% chance to cause you to gain 1 Rune.
  • ObliterationObliteration - For the next 8 sec every Frost Strike hit triggers For the next 10 sec, Frost Strike and Howling Blast grant Killing Machine, and Obliterate costs 1 less Rune.
  • PermafrostPermafrost - When you deal damage with auto attacks, gain an absorb shield equal to 75% 30% of the damage dealt.
  • Shattering StrikesShattering Strikes - If there are 5 stacks of Razorice on the target, Frost Strike will consume them and deal 60% 40% additional damage.
  • White WalkerWhite Walker - new level 75 talent.

Druid

Feral DruidFeral Druid spec aura has been increased by 7% (up from 33%).

  • BloodtalonsBloodtalons - Casting Regrowth causes your next two melee abilities to deal 20% 25% increased damage for their full duration.
  • Celestial GuardianCelestial Guardian - While in Bear Form, you take 10% 20% less damage from spells and receive 20% increased healing.
  • Ironfeather ArmorIronfeather Armor - Moonkin form increases your armor by an additional 25% 50% and reduces your chance to be critically hit by melee attacks by 20%.
  • Moment of ClarityMoment of Clarity - Omen of Clarity now triggers twice as often 100% more often, stacks up to [ 1u + 1 ] times and increases the damage of your next Shred, Thrash, or Swipe by 20% 25%.
  • ThrashThrash - Strikes all nearby enemies, dealing [ 1 + 50.02% of Attack Power ] Bleed damage and an additional [ 5 + 178.12% 35.62% of Attack Power ] Bleed damage over 15 sec.

Monk

Paladin

  • Mastery: Divine JudgmentMastery: Divine Judgment - Increases Judgment damage by 35% 24%, and causes Judgment to increase damage taken from your Holy Power spenders by 14% 12% for 8 sec.

Priest

  • Ray of HopeRay of Hope - cooldown increased to 60 seconds (up from 45 seconds).

Rogue

  • ShadowstrikeShadowstrike - was redesigned. Strike the target, dealing (850% of weapon damage) Physical damage. While Stealth is active, you strike through the shadows and appear behind your target up to 25 yds away, dealing 25% additional damage.

Shaman

  • Earth ShieldEarth Shield - cooldown increased to 6 seconds (was 5 seconds).

      The Horde story in Battle for Azeroth culminates in the Zandalar Forever scenario, where players help King Rastakhan defend the Horde capital before it gets destroyed by Zul.
      This article contains spoilers!
      The Zandalar Forever scenario becomes available after you complete all the major storylines in Zandalar (The Throne of Zuldazar, The Dark Heart of Nazmir, Secrets in the Sands & A Bargain of Blood). Completing it rewards the The Final Seal and the Zandalar Forever! achievement.
      TL;DR
      In Nazmir, you learn about Blood Trolls that worship G'huun (the main boss of Uldir). In Zuldazar, you learn about King Rastakhan and Prophet Zul's betrayal. You help Rastakhan end his evil plans. Vol'dun's storyline revolves around the Sethrak and their successful effort to summon Mythrax to this world. The Horde story in Zuldazar culminates in the Zandalar Forever scenario, where G'huun orders Zul to shatter the final seal in order to free him with the help of Mythrax, the Unraveller.       In the final scenario, Dazar'alor is under attack from all sides. The Blood Trolls and the Sethrak are closing in and players help King Rastakhan reach Zul, while his daughter, Princes Talanji, holds off Mythrax. The scenario is still a work-in-progress, but you get a pretty good idea about what to expect.
      TL;DR
      G'huun orders Prophet Zul to break the final seal (destroy the pyramid) to free him. An in-game cinematic is missing, but we know that Zul's going to be resurrected and we'll encounter him in Uldir.

      The Burning of Teldrassil intro is now available on Battle for Azeroth Alpha. The most recent build added a portion of the scenario that results in the Battle for Lordaeron.

      It all starts with Anduin offering the initial quest in Stormwind Keep.
      A Short-Lived Peace
      <Player Name>
      As the Legion's presence wanes from our world, a new threat has arisen. It is with a heavy heart that I must ask you to lay your life down for the Alliance once more.
      I have received a disturbing message from our operatives stationed in Orgrimmar. It seems that the Warchief has already began spinning the gears of war.
      I await your arrival at Stormwind Keep to discuss matters further.
      You, as my father's champion, have fought bravely in the name of the Alliance time and time again. For that, I owe you a great debt of gratitude.
      The Horde Uprising
      Reports have indicated that the Horde is mobilizing an army towards Silithus. Given the potential that azerite has to change the face of war, it should come as no surprise that the Warchief would want to lay her claim on it.
      The only surprise is that it has begun so soon. The Horde and the Alliance have both suffered unimaginable losses on Argus.
      Speak with Mathias Shaw. I want you to oversee Stormwind's presence in Silithus.

      A Disturbance in Ashenvale
      The Horde! They diverted at the North fork of the Barrens! They have marched on Ashenvale!
      Most of Malfurion's troops have already set sail for Silithus, but Darnassus has sent its city guards to help reinforce Astranaar. Their captain goes by the name of Delaryn Summermoon.
      Find her, <Player Name>. Hold the city for as long as you can. King Anduin and I will send a fleet as soon as we can muster.
      Now you must take the boat to Darnassus from Stormwind Harbor and fly from Rut'theran Village to Astranaar. Once you enter Astranaar, you'll see the village on fire and notice a bunch of Night Elf corpses that have been poisoned by Rogues.
      The Light of Elune
      My sisters lie slain on the soft earth of Ashenvale. We are trained to expect losses in battle, but I have never seen something so horrific -- something so -- cowardly. The Horde have sunk to a new low in this war.
      We do not have time to grieve, but we are not savages as the horde have proven to be.
      Please, <Player Name>, will you help me say a prayer to Elune so that we may honor the fallen? Their wisps deserve the light of her blessing.
      The next step is to honor the bodies of the fallen soldiers in Astranaar. This quest is really simple. All you need to do is to click six corpses.
      A Soft Glow
      This light of the wisps... it is all around us. Why does the forest awaken?
      I hear... something. That sounds -- could it be our Shan'do?
      Quickly, <Player Name>, Malfurion beckons!
      You go to Twilight Vale, where you find fallen Orgrimmar Raiders, Sylvanas and Malfurion. Malfurion roots everyone and the Horde soldiers try to rush through the wall of wisps and attack, but get killed in the process.
      Malfurion informs you that you can pass through the wall unharmed while Sylvanas escapes.
      To Darnassus!
      The Warchief has come for us. I knew this day would come.
      Our forces have been gathered in Darnassus, though many of them have already set sail for Silithus. Meet with Shandris Feathermoon and alert her of the Warchief's presence.
      Elune be with you, <Player Name>.
      <Captain Delarym Summermoon appears>
      You learn that most of the Alliance troops have been sent to Silithus and the Alliance may be outnumbered and not able to defend Teldrassil. Go to Darnassus and find Shandris Feathermoon to tell her that the Horde have invaded Darkshore.
      The intro ends here, with the requirements to mount a fey dragon and slay 50 Horde soldiers.

      You can visit the Barber Shop and change your skin color for 300 Gold and 54 Silver in Battle for Azeroth.
      The option to alter your skin color is only available to older races and the four Allied Races right now on Battle for Azeroth Alpha. We tried Humans, Orcs and Void Elves. All races could change their skin color for 300 Gold and 54 Silver.

      We noticed that Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag'har Orcs were not able to change their skin color in the Barber Shop for now. The option wasn't there. Hopefully, it's just a bug that will be fixed in a future build, because both Allied Races just became available for playtesting on Alpha.

      Who We Are
      Tequila Sundown is a mythic raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
      Our raid team is one of three within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.
      We are always looking to add players with a friendly personality and lots of passion for the game. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
      We are 6/11 Mythic, Heroic AOTC Antorus progression.
      We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid. We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders. You must be able to take constructive criticism and have ownership over your level of play, and be willing to put in the effort to be a contribution to the team.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Sundays are for farming the previous raid difficulty.

      Recruitment Needs
      Healer: We need to add a healer to our core. Holy Paladin preferred.
      DPS: We are looking for DPS with the gear/experience to contribute immediately. Will consider all specs but we currently lack a dedicated Mage, Elemental Shaman, and Windwalker Monk. Bonus points for good healing offspec.
