The first Battle for Azeroth raid opens on September 4, 2018 according to the latest in-game calendar entries.

The news comes from RhoWoW who noticed and told Wowhead that Blizzard added Uldir to the in-game calendar and while nothing has been officially confirmed, we went to check it out and here's the release schedule:

  • Uldir (Normal / Heroic Difficulty) - September 4 (US) / September 5 (EU)
  • Uldir (Mythic Difficulty / Raid Finder Wing #1) - September 11 (US) / September 12 (EU)
  • Uldir (Raid Finder Wing #2) - September 25 (US) / September 26 (EU)
  • Uldir (Raid Finder Wing #3) - October 9 (US) / October 10 (EU)

It is also on the Live version, at least since Sunday. Rather early compared to the WoD and Legion schedule unless I am mistaken?

I think you're right, if i'm right, i think EN's release was 2 months after legion came out, not one.

It's pretty cool tho.

I still don't understand the two week delays between LFR wings.

Gotta segment out that content like always so it seems like there's something for the casual player to do for more than a couple days.

Emerald Nightmare opened 21 days after Legion launch, no?

Because LFR isn't a priority, for starters. Then comes the balancing and removal of mechanics to dumb it down for the casuals that they'll still screw up. Lastly, they have to add barriers to keep people from wandering to areas of the raid where there's no boss because of how LFR only gives you, at most, 3 bosses per wing.

I was going to rant, but I'll keep it simple: It's a financial strategy. The biggest income to WoW is the casual playerbase. So, in order to keep them subscribed, they stretch out the casual content substantially so those folks will stay subbed. Look at class mounts; almost two months of quests. Look at pathfinder; reps and achievements galore. shit, look at the requirements for unlocking allied races; exalted reps AND required zone questlines. But ultimately, none of these things require any significant skill or know how, just time invested. So Blizzard draws out that time as much as possible.

And quite frankly, it's a pretty good strategy because it works.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
