Every BlizzCon is a piece of Blizzard Entertainment history. It’s a unique opportunity for us at Blizzard to geek out about our shared passion for games with our community and reveal what we’ve been working on with everyone. It’s also where our community comes to experience and help create unforgettable moments that last a lifetime.

This year, we’re kicking off BlizzCon season with a few firsts. We’ve created the “Blizzard Community Spotlight 2018” infographic, highlighting stats and fun facts about our players and what they do in and outside of our games, and with a few eye-popping facts about what goes into making BlizzCon a spectacle. We’ve also created a video campaign that lets all of you relive and vote on your favorite moments from BlizzCons past.

Then of course there’s this upcoming BlizzCon, which everyone will be able to follow via Virtual Ticket. Today, we’re giving the first glimpse of what’s to come when BlizzCon and Virtual Ticket 2018 programming kicks off in three weeks with the “BlizzCon All-Access Kick-Off Show.” Jump to the “Save the Dates” section at the bottom if you can’t wait to see what’s coming up.

Now that I thought about it, is Murky's fish meat even good for the butcher? ? It could give him half the meat for main quest, but keep his cholesterol levels down at the same time!

Due to the ongoing health crisis, Blizzard revealed there won't be a BlizzCon this year either and we can expect a similar event to BlizzConline 2021 in early 2022.
      Greetings Blizzard community,
I hope you’re all staying safe and well. As guidelines in California around in-person gatherings continue to evolve and the status of the pandemic fluctuates around the globe, the teams across Blizzard have been discussing what this means for one of the events we miss the most: BlizzCon. We know some of you might be wondering about your own plans to potentially cross the country—not to mention oceans—and meet your friends, family, and fellow community members in California, so today, we wanted to give you a heads-up that we’ve decided we will not be holding BlizzCon this year.
Building an in-person BlizzCon is an epic and complex affair that takes many months of preparation—not just for us, but also for the many talented production partners, esports pros, hosts, entertainers, artists, and other collaborators we team up with locally and globally to put all of the pieces together. The ongoing complexities and uncertainties of the pandemic have impacted our ability to properly move forward on many of these fronts, and ultimately we’re now past the point where we’d be able to develop the kind of event we’d want to create for you in November.
But we don’t want to let too long go by before we connect with everyone again. So in the meantime, we’re planning a global event for the early part of next year, combining an online show along the lines of our recent BlizzConline with smaller in-person gatherings, and we’ll share more as our plans come together.
We very much look forward to celebrating with you all again. Until then, we’ll see you in Azeroth, Outland, Sanctuary, and all the other worlds we call home.
–Saralyn Smith, Executive Producer of BlizzCon

Well, we've seen the big official leak as someone at Blizzard "accidentally" shared the press kit too early and we found out about 9.1 and Burning Crusade Classic, but there are a few more interesting rumors and leaks we should take a look at.
First off is a pretty credible source, as they called the Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 announcements before previous BlizzCons:
Nothing too earh-shattering there, but it all seems very plausible and likely to happen.
Then there's another one that's been floating around for a while, which is just as likely to be a simple photoshop as an official document, but the info in it is also pretty likely very much correct:

The delayed release of the server groups with brand new Classics starting up with each cycle was also confirmed in the official leak, so the above does seem to be correct, even if it turns out to not be the real deal.
And then there's this, which doesn't seem to have any particular source or credibility, so it's just speculation, but with an interesting take with the final point:
It's mostly a roundup of the old and new leaks with some personal additions, and they missed the mark a little on the number of bosses in the Maw raid. It also seems a little unlikely that we'll get tier sets back this soon (but we're hoping!), but that last one is definitely something to be hyped about, despite still most likely being pure speculation/imagination. Opening the WoW BlizzConline section with a cinematic like that would definitely go over well, but it's extremely unlikely to happen, at least as is written above, due to the word bitch already being removed from the game when Garrosh said it to Sylvanas.
Here are a few more images for the official leak as well, with new Covenant armors and a look at the new in-Maw zone, courtesy of MMOChampion:
