Soo, in the next "big patch" we get 2 new races that we were promised years ago and 2 achievement + a toy. Oke Blizz. Nice. Even Bungie adds more content with the god damn annual pass and they dont require 13€ a Month

The only time they said Kul Tiran/Zandalari were coming at launch was when it was announced. Ever since they knew the date it was 8.1.5 and they have perfect reasoning as to why it's been this long. You know these .5 patches are meant to be minor, not "big patch", no one has ever called it that. These patches are deliberately meant to be small, minor additions to the game not huge amounts of content.

BFA = adds hundreds of pets, supposedly will be adding a pet "bag" limit increase for 1000 polished pet charms.

grind islands, get pets.

lots of new capturable ones too

3 patches in... no pet cap increase.

Who the hell is making this game?  do they even play the fucking thing?

People are devoted to being angry about Zandalari/Kul'tirans. The narrative is supposedly they're "the selling point of the expansion" which let's face it, if the ONLY reason you're getting an expansion is the allied races, those are some odd priorities. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for them too but it's hardly the reason I got the xpac

I'm close to hitting it myself.

Unique Pets: 1002
Total Pets: 1477

The only reason I'm below the 1500 limit is I did a massive prune of my collection removing duplicates and even only keeping memorable pets and those that are really useful for battling in the dungeons where you can't heal (so having dupes is very good) I'm struggling to keep under it.

Honestly it would be nice if they raised the cap to 2k or even 2.5k

You've got a point but honestly the reason I pre-ordered BFA day 1 was the Zandalari. I wanted to be a ZT Druid so bad for so long I instantly purchased it but it has dragged on so long I've lost any excitement for it.

After you mentioned it I had to check myself.  While I dont consider myself an avid collector i like to think i do more than most, an ive only 877 unique pets!

Im not against that at all.  Another thing purchaseable with pet charms.  But I suppose they have to stop somewhere and just arent there yet.

I know a lot of people in that boat.  I remember the initial push for them made it seem like it was going to be day one, but everything after said they would not be immediately available.  I get their logic behind it also, proving yourself etc.

Yeah they add up quickly and honestly there are so many in the game the 1500 limit is very low. Of course a lot of people like to mock pet/mount/toy collectors and so on, but they are nice side part of the game for those of us who enjoy it and consumes very little development time.

I mean I understand their logic but it's getting a bit tiresome at this point. I'm not one of those players that are outraged by everything Blizzard does. Yes BFA has its flaws, but if I wasn't having fun I wouldn't be playing. I just they were better at communicating things to us, we shouldn't need aggregator sites to tell us things and frankly the delays on flagship content (which the allied races are) need to explained clearly and in a way that is very hard to miss. That means on the main WoW website not twitter.

Fair, but even now we're communicating on a third party website, I assume because it offers us both things we want from it.

I kno this is where I find out virtually ALL of my wow info, other than word of mouth.

I just know the information about allied races was out long ago, and perhaps its because im a pretty avid player that i knew about it so quickly, but the information was definitely available for quite a long time even before launch.

Fan sites have their place but the over reliance on them by Blizzard is not a positive thing. They need a central place to release news and detailed information and stop expecting us to follow fifty bloody things.

According to player reports, the Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder is still required to fly in Kul Tiras and Zandalar on live servers.
Battle for Azeroth is two expansions old with the launch of Dragonflight and when Shadowlands was released, Blizzard made Warlords of Draenor flying available to everyone with the Pathfinder still rewarding the mount.
However, now that Dragonflight is live, this does not seem to be the case.
The achievement still requires BfA flyting and the  Wonderwing 2.0 mount.

Blizzard has posted an update on the Dragonflight performance issues, clarifying that operations and server engineering teams have been working around the clock to fix them since the expansion launched.
      (Source)
Since the launch of Dragon Isles content, our live operations and server engineering teams have been working non-stop to address several unexpected performance issues. Some of these were fixed with realm restarts that took place earlier today in all regions, and other performance issues are still being worked on.
This is a top priority, and we expect to deploy additional fixes over the next day.
      Thank you for your patience.

Players have spotted three familiar faces in Ohn'ahran Plains on live servers!
While the three NPCs are named "Unknown", they look like Malfurion, Tyrande, and Ysera.

During Dragonflight testing, we've datamined some interesting dialogue between all three. You can read it below. It contains spoilers.
We currently do not know when the questline will be enabled on live servers, but it appears to be encrypted for now.

It's been a while since the WoW community was this much in agreement over a new piece of content, but Dragonflight seems to have brought an instant classic to the quest archives, with one of the simplest ones ever.
There are dozens and dozens of reddit and forum posts talking about how much this one quest affected them and how good it was - and all it is is a dragon with a dwarf visage talking! And it's got the perfect name too: Stay a While.
This small quest where you don't fight, explore or collect is one of my favourite quests in all of WoW. Dragonflight so far feels super refreshing and grounded. I came here to fly dragons not cry ;-; [SPOILER] I love these types of side quests... Please keep it coming! /cry I just got some dust in my eyes... from you know... the dragonriding... "Stay a While" one of the best quests That lonely Dwarf... I was not prepared! The Vritistraz “Quest”. There are many more posts about it, mostly crying-related as well.
Not since the Runas the Shamed questline has the community been this much in awe of the story side of WoW, and it's a beautiful thing to see, especially since it's such a powerful way to show how important the actual world is to Warcraft, as the view itself is half the quest.
Here's the full quest if you want to check it out, but if you're playing Dragonflight, you should really wait and get there yourself to experience it properly.

File this one in the extreme irony category, as while many players were stuck on loading screens, waiting on boats and unable to even log in due to world servers being down while trying to play Dragonflight, this particular player just got ported directly to the Dragon Isles without even owning the expansion nor trying to get there!
Nantener was just minding their own business in Durotar when all the server instability surrounding the zeppelins heading off to the Isles somehow ripped some sort of portal and deposited them somewhere in the Waking Shores.   The trip didn't take long, however, as they were ported back a while later.
Did not used any exploit, got a disconnect while i was in durotar, when I logged back, I found myself in the dargon isles. Did not bought the expansion.
      Now i Ported back:

While this is pretty hilarious, I'm sure the many players that were stuck waiting and unable to get to the content they did pay for wouldn't really see it that way, but at least most servers stabilized a few hours into the launch and everyone is enjoying the Isles properly now.
Perhaps this is some sort of new marketing technique? ?
