What's Void Focus?

Void Focus Void Focus is a new object needed to craft the new Profession recipes in Patch 8.3. In this article, you will learn how to obtain the recipe and upgrade it to create the most powerful items.

All crafting Professions gain access to new Bind on Pickup recipes and can create gear of item level 440/455/470 with the exception of Engineering which is higher by 5 item levels than the rest (445/460/475).

How to Get the Void Focus

  3. From there, craft Void Focus Void Focus to begin the Something's in Your Mind quest and seek out Wrathion in the Chamber of Heart.
  4. The Void Focus will spawn in the Chamber of Heart and you must return to Silithus every time you want to craft any of the new recipes.

JC getting screwed again.  Can't craft a boe ring over 310.  And overall people don't generally need gear that's 440..not ones that have their *filtered* together enough to do this.  rip

Because the second stats on this 310 BoE are allready pretty high and come with a socket. itemlevelwise this surely isnt a upgrade.

Just a heads up to the author for editing, under tier 2 you have the Maddening Leather Leggings Posted twice where the rank 2 tailoring gloves should be. In case you care to edit.

I have been doing assaults for as long as they've existed and I still haven't got the Recipe: Void Focus. My engineer on an another server got it though?!

Simple Tome of Bone-Binding that teaches Hunters how to tame Undead beasts has been found!
The item has a small chance to drop from mobs in Maldraxxus and the Plaguefall dungeon. Undead players can tame Undead beasts by default as mentioned in the official patch notes.

Undead beasts include Skeletal and mummy devilsaurs, raptors, eagles, zombie dogs, wind serpents, and hell hounds.

A neat detail was spotted on live servers. Darion Mograine refers to Death Knight players as "Deathlords" instead of the usual "Champion."
Reddit user LordDShadowy53 spotted the little detail, and it's a nice one since most of the NPCs in the game constantly call us "Hero" or "Champion," and some players even feel shut off when Jaina calls them like that in a casual conversation.

Would you like to go back to being a nobody in the game or do you enjoy when everyone calls you Hero/Champion?

Many players keep asking whether it's currently possible to skip the Maw introductory questline, and the short answer is no.
You must complete the same Shadowlands intro questline on all characters before heading to Oribos, which obviously isn't a big problem now that the expansion is just a few hours old, but it may get tiresome for sure in the future.
While you do not need to follow Shadowlands' linear narrative on your second character, there will still be no dialogue option to skip the Maw intro. Blizzard hasn't yet responded to this, and we do not know if they even plan to make it skippable at some point.

Legendary items in the Shadowlands are one of the most important parts of your class and spec, and luckily for those of us with Legion flashbacks, they're all craftable and the recipes are (mostly) consistent drops.
The crafting process aka Runecarving is pretty simple: you need the base item, crafted via professions, the legendary recipe (received from various sources), a couple of items that set the secondary stats and, the most important part, Soul Ash which you receive in Torghast (but not until tomorrow/Wednesday with the first reset).
You can read the full Runecarving guide here for many more details.
Then we're on to the actual powers themselves, which are split into general powers, which anyone can use, and then the generic class powers, which any spec from the class can use, and finally the spec-specific powers (which are mostly the ones you want, depending on spec).

      All General Legendary Powers

      Class specific powers:
Death Knight  Mage  Rogue Death Knight Legendary Powers
      Mage Legendary Powers
      Rogue Legendary Powers
Demon Hunter  Monk  Shaman Demon Hunter Legendary Powers
      Monk Legendary Powers
      Shaman Legendary Powers
Druid  Paladin  Warlock Druid Legendary Powers
      Paladin Legendary Powers
      Warlock Legendary Powers
Hunter  Priest  Warrior Hunter Legendary Powers

Here's one last video before Shadowlands by Rextroy. It gives his Hunter a special buff that turns Rapid Fire into a machine gun, destroying people in less than a second.
As mentioned before, the combo is built around Rapid Fire, and here is some background info to make it work. Rextroy's also taking a break from videos for a bit to focus on leveling.
