In my guiid there are two of us going for the scarab mount will it be possible for us both to get it with the guilds help?

Depends! Both of you need to get the Broodlord Head (so one will be 1 week ahead) and have the whole quest line for the scepter finished by the time someone rings the gong for the first time (so after AQ War Effort turn ins). Because you need to wait until the next week to get the red scepter shard from your BWL clear after someone gets the head you cannot ring the gong and open AQ in the first week of the War Effort, afaik. It also means that the second person can only start on their own quest by the second week, and only finish it in the third (due to late head + late shard).

The question here is whether the War Effort turn-ins will be so insanely fast that people will unlock AQ with the gong in the second week which means only ppl who got Broodlord Head in first week can get it, or if it will be slower, allowing for more people to get mount / other rewards.

As far as I know there was a title, but the first implementation of the new title system came with 2.0.3, the TBC release patch. It brought the title as a title like we see today. Normally and originally, in the past AQ came with 1.9 patch on Vanilla, not 1.13.5 like Classic, so we may see the title on Classic too and eventually those players will become Scarab Lords when they bang the gong on their realm first anyways.
