Shadowlands Pathfinder Only Requires Completing the Covenant Campaign

Recommended Posts

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas just confirmed that the only requirement to unlock flying in Shadowlands is completing the Covenant Campaign.

The Shadowlands Pathfinder has no other requirements beyond that. Pathfinder achievements are account-wide, so you will be able to fly on alts. However, you won't be able to fly from one zone to another, unfortunately, because they aren't close to one another. Your character's traversing long distances when porting from Oribos to the Shadowlands zones.

Unlocking flying also rewards Covenant-themed mounts that we previewed earlier today.

This was unveiled at the BlizzConline WoW Q&A.

i still think they could make some kind of portals on each "corner" of the map so we can travel from one to another and save us the pain of going to oribos then maldraxxus

E.g: a portal on the top left corner of bastion for maldraxxus, bottom left corner for ardenweld

what's not mentioned is how the covenant campaign will be extended by another 40 renown, earned over 20 weeks (sarcastic speculation)

As they are going to move focus away from these zones, doubt they are overly bothered.........

Agreed. I honestly feel like I'm flying Delta Airlines because there's no non-stop flights. Always have to have a stopover at O'Hare, er... Oribos. 😅

The whole "You can't fly from one zone to the next" is complete BS really. You can literally glide from Ardenweald to the Maw. Unless they either add A) Invisible walls around each zone, B) Automatic Dismounting if you try to fly out of a zone, or C) Some sort of debuff that kills you, then ppl will fly directly from zone to zone.

No, people did try to glide from Revendreth to the Maw and hit a wall. So I suspect "neighbouring" zones do have an invisible wall. Even if we could fly from zone to zone on our own, taking a flight path would still be faster.

3 encrypted Patch 9.1 cinematics are currently present in the game files. These usually contain spoilers, so we will need to wait until June 29 to watch them.
All combined, the cinematics have 7.46 minutes.
interface/cinematics/shadowlands_910_950and952_1920.avi is 2 minutes and 25 seconds long and has 69.09 MB. interface/cinematics/shadowlands_910_951_1920.avi is 3 minutes and 7 seconds long and has 88.32 MBs. interface/cinematics/shadowlands_910_953_1920.avi has 1 minute and 56 seconds and 54.67 MBs. There are also lower-resolution versions of the same cinematics present in the game files (1080p / 640p). What do you hope to see there?

In Patch 9.1, Blizzard implemented a new option that allows you to transmog each shoulder separately. In this post, we are looking at the feature in more detail.
Visit a transmogrifier in any major city or hub. On the left side, select shoulders, and in the bottom left corner, enable the "Transmog Each Shoulder Separately" option.

This will create another slot for your second shoulder on the left side. Click on the Shoulder #2 slot, select the appearance you would like, and click on "Apply'.

Congrats, you've just transmogged each shoulder separately!
