Castle Nathria 9.0.5 DPS Log Rankings and Analysis, Week 14: Re-Return of the (Boom)King + Boss Only Logs

Recommended Posts

Another week, another swap out in the very top of the Nathria rankings, as we witness another return of the (boom)king to the throne, with Arcane's crazy week having passed and it going back down to its top 5 spot. Hunters are still in a bad way, so we'll have our guide writer, Azortharion take a look at what's happening. We'll also be taking a look at the boss only damage logs.

Mythic Rankings

Balance has returned, as the orange flag flies high at the top of the 95th percentile once again after a solid absence, with the Druids, as well as Shadow and Affliction moving past Arcane on its downward journey. The rest of the top 10 is exactly the same, aside from the final spot being taken by Assassination, as it moves past Windwalker. Hunters are still either at or near the bottom, with all three specs, so we'll have our guide writer have look into that (with a focus on MM) below.

Arcane dropped as many spots in the all percentiles bracket as well, with Assassination being the main beneficiary, grabbing that 4th spot from it's 6th last week, as Fury leapfrogs Elemental in the top 10 as well.

Spec Analysis

Marksmanship Hunter by Azortharion

All Hunter specs are in a very rough spot. Beast Mastery and Survival are mostly where they have always been, but Marksmanship suffered a lot from the Patch 9.0.5 Wild Spirits Wild Spirits nerf, and the compensation was honestly pitiful. This has taken Marksmanship from one of the strongest ranged specs in Castle Nathria to one of the weakest specs in the entire game. In recent weeks, Marksmanship has nosedived in Mythic compared to other specs in Castle Nathria as fights get shorter and the impact of the Wild Spirits nerf (the equivalent of nerfing the BiS Covenant Ability by 25-35%) becomes more significant the shorter and burstier fights become. It is not a good time to be a PvE'ing Hunter right now.

Patch 9.1 is not bringing any buffs or significant changes to any of the specs, including Marksmanship. The spec does not have amazing (but also not terrible) gear scaling and so we don't expect it to leap ahead as we get more gear in the coming patch. The Sylvanas special ability bow is not nearly enough to push MM even into the upper half of ranged specs from a DPS perspective either. The 9.0.5 Nerf hit us where it hurt the most which was on our very strong 1-5 target burst via Wild Spirits. The compensation buff did not do anything to improve this burst, leaving Marksmanship with no strong niche and low DPS overall.

Boss Damage Only

It's been a while since we last checked in on the boss only damage charts, 3 weeks in fact, but the top 3 in the 95th percentile remain the same, with Arcane actually coming up 2 spots, despite its fall elsewhere, as it kicks Demonology down two, and Feral retains its 5th spot. Balance takes out Fire for No.6, as Frost Mage also rises, with Elemental and Arms being the other notable upgrades.

As for the all percentile bracket, Druids are on the rise as Feral jumped 1 taking Fire out of its 4th spot and Balance flapped over Demonology into 6th.

Heroic Rankings, Overall Damage

At least the news is quite so dire for Hunters in Heroic, as Marksmanship has held on to its big burst from last week, and  Beast Mastery isn't quite as low as in Mythic either.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
