This week's card is Rebirth, an uber-powerful Shaman class card that allows you to destroy a minion, then return it to life with full Health. Malfurion Stormrage, The Druid Lore

Another Hero lore spotlight has been posted, and this time the light is on Malfurion Stormrage, the Druid! Poor Malfurion had to get downgraded to merely "the Druid" for simplicity's sake in Hearthstone, but he's definitely anything but your regular run-of-the-mill Druid! Malfurion has an extremely interesting past intertwined with many other key Warcraft universe characters (such as Tyrande and Illidan Stormrage), so be sure to read all about the powerful Archdruid!

Team SoloMid Signs Pro Hearthstone Player

On the competitive side of Hearthstone, Team SoloMid, known for their powerful League of Legends and Smite teams, have signed their first professional Hearthstone player! Harry "MaSsan" Cheong, a well-known Hearthstone player with a popular stream on Twitch.tv. It will definitely be interesting to watch the growth of Hearthstone as a viable competitive esport, and I'm sure we'll see Hearthstone gain popularity as we get closer to the 2014 World Championship! Be sure to check out MaSsan's stream when live to learn a thing or two from his excellent commentary!

      Jump into Hearthstone's tenth expansion!
The last expansion of the Year of the Raven is now live in all regions and we have compiled everything you need to know about it!
Rastakhan's Rumble introduces the new Overkill keyword and two different types of class cards - Spirits (Rare) and Loa (Legendary). As usual, each class will have two Legendaries: a Loa and the class Champion. The whole thematic of the expansion is that each class is a team of their own, so most class cards synergise well with each other. You can find all of the 135 cards revealed in our dedicated expansion hub.

Upon logging in, you will receive a bunch of free stuff. You will get one of the nine Legendary Loa, as well as two Spirits from the same class. You will also get 6 Rastakhan's Rumble packs for free - and an additional one if you participated in the voting that took place on the official site. These rewards won't be around forever, so grab them during the expansion's launch period!
The Rumble Run is the single-player adventure mode that accompanies this expansion. It will be released in 9 days from today, on December 13.
Don't forget to share your best pack openings, as well as some week 1 crazy decks that you like!

Choose One Minions When choosing a minion to Transform into, these cards now show the minions the card can become. Affected cards include: Shellshifter, Druid of the Claw, Druid of the Flame, Druid of the Saber, Druid of the Scythe, and Druid of the Swarm.

Rank 20 Floor Players that achieve Rank 15 or higher during their Hearthstone career can no longer fall below Rank 20. This should ensure better matches for rank 20 to rank 25 players.
      Winter Veil!

Be sure to visit the Tavern starting December 18 to cozy up by the fire for a nice round of Hearthstone!
      Added the following card backs:

Winter Veil Treat Chillin' Acquired from Winter Veil 2018. Acquired from winning five games in Ranked Play, January 2019.

Pizza Stone Rumble Runner Acquired from winning five games in Ranked Play, February 2019. Acquired from successfully completing a Rumble Run. Game Improvements & Bug Fixes Game Mechanics Update – Different damage redirection effects can chain with each other, but each one will only occur once. Re-directed damage is applied before modifiers (e.g. Cursed Blade) and will only damage the final target once. Added a black and purple sparkle effect to indicate when cards and powers that normally provide healing will do damage instead (such as when affected by Auchenai Soulpriest). The Rogue Quest card, Crystal Core, now applies to minions in your deck, rather than applying after they are drawn. Enchantment tiles now use a square border like history tiles. Deathrattles that move a card to hand or deck will no longer sometimes prevent its other Deathrattle effects from triggering. Fixed an issue that could prevent Augmented Elekk from activating. Tracking will no longer sometimes make a card invisible when your hand is full. Resolved various minor UI and visual issues. Resolved several interaction issues in single-player content. Set watermarks will no longer appear on non-collectible cards. New Player Experience An Undo button is now available after disenchanting a Wild card when in New Player Ranks. When at Legend in both Standard and Wild, if the Wild rank is higher, it will once again be shown on the Quest Log and Friends List. (source)
