Torghast Layer 12 Speed Cleared Under 3 Minutes

Recommended Posts

TnszF9s.jpg

Gitoff speed-cleared Torghast Layer 12 in 2 minutes and 56 seconds.

While most players focus on getting a Flawless Score in Torghast, Gitoff tried something different and managed to kill the Floor 5 on the highest difficulty under 3 minutes on their Demon Hunter.

I mean... It is Upper Reaches.
He got very lucky with the layout and this sort of content is known to be easy for DH's.
Floor 1 - Straight ahead
Floor 2 - Trap floor, straight ahead
Floor 3 - Broker
Floor 4 - DH Skip Jump (Was very nice and deserves credit)
Floor 5 - Boss (A quick kill so again, due some credit)

Try this on a Resto Shaman eh?

Venthyr, Nadjia (Agent of Chaos), cycle layer 1's until you get Gnarled KeyGnarled Key , exit, re-enter on 12. If Murmuring ShawlMurmuring Shawl or Mask of WitheringMask of Withering become available during your run, take them over anything else for increased damage and survivability while using Door of Shadows which becomes instant cast with 30 sec recharge after 10 uses. After that take anything that you normally would that increases damage/survivability when soloing Torghast as Resto.

He probably could have done it even faster if he'd cycled for Smuggled WildseedSmuggled Wildseed , which stacks both the CD reduction and speed.

I think they also benefited from the blessing that reduces the health of the first three elites you fight.  If you watch them fight the floor bosses MAX health gets reduced significantly (probably by 40% which is the blessing).

Forgot about blessings, that's probably what he cycled for then.

Instant negativity.

"I mean oh look he did the thing with the stuff, lets discredit him. Try this on a blah class with a blah". LORD go away.

Move on, be impressed, and don't find all the negative reasons why you woulda never done/thought of something instead of shitting on it for reasons your brain is too smooth for. GG

yep, a 20% reduction in a cast time will get you a sub 3 minute torghast...what? hush.

Stacks up to 10 times. Instant cast for the remainder of the run once acheived. Thanks.

We've already checked out the new 9.1.5 Druid travel forms, but now we're going to find out how to get them and take an even better look at them all as LestTV gives us a tour of all the new forms!
In short, the easiest way to get them is by just simply buying them from the Auction House, although that might up being expensive in the first weeks of the patch, so we also get to see where to get the Inscription recipes if you want to get them that way. You'll need various reputations for some of the recipes, just grind some mobs to have it drop for others, one is from the meat-craving merchant, and one even has you going back to Legion to get it!

We have some amazing fan creations to take a look at, as Simaia finished a big project focusing on ideas Paladin "class skins" for all races, including Allied ones as well! We have Night/Moodblades for Night Elves, Blood Knights, Silver Hands and Riftblades for Void Elves, Lightblades and Shadow Knights for Fosaken and a lot more!
Head on over to the full twitter thread to see them all in once place, or check out some highlights we picked below:

Some truly impressive work there, and if you want to see all 13 new Paladin race looks, head on to the main twitter thread here. Thanks a lot to Simaia and we hope Blizzard take into account just how much players want new class/race combinations, especially for Paladins!

After a long time waiting the final quest needed to complete the The Zovaal Shuffle achievement (for players that have been keeping up with it), the Ember Count, is now up on NA realms (and presumably on EU soon as well, once the Kyrian Assault opens later today).
The reason the Zovaal Shuffle is important and players have been waiting since the patch launched to complete it is that it's part of the On the Offensive meta achievement (which allows you to buy Covenant-specific mounts with Death's Advance), and it in turn is part of the Breaking the Chains meta - which brings with it the Hand of Salaranga mount! However, the mount reward itself is bugged at the moment, with multiple players reporting not having received it after completing the achievement.

If you're not sure what to do for the achievement, you need to find Gubbins, grab the Mawproof Parasol and then dance near 5 forges in Zovaal's Cauldron. You can find Gubbins in one of 4 locations: 40 41; 35 43; 32 42; 36 36 (as mentioned by MMO Champion).
