9.1.5 Sanctum of Domination DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings, Week 9: Havoc Takes Over

Recommended Posts

The first Sanctum rankings in the new year bring some big changes, as Havoc now sits on top of the rankings in the all percentiles bracket, having constantly and consistently risen over the past few weeks, but has now leaped quite a bit into first! We'll also be taking a look at the tanks and healers, as well as some bosses this week.

Mythic DPS Rankings

95th Percentile

Balance is the big pusher this week in the high percentiles, as it takes over 2nd place from Fury, while Subtlety drops quite a bit out of its top 5 spot down into 8th, as its fellow Rogues keep their spots but switch places. This brings us to the main story of the week, Havoc, which may have only gained 1 spot and risen into 6th here in the 95h percentiles, but is taking over the place in the all percentiles bracket! Elemental is the big mover up here though, as it leaps 4 spots into 7th, followed by the ousted Subtlety and Arms.

All Percentiles

After weeks of slow climbing and improvement, Havoc has finally reached the top after a big jump of 3 spots, moving past a whole lot of yellow and one brown! The rogues all bundled up and kicked Fury down, and Balance and Windwalker joined them as well, as the top Warrior spec fell into 7th, pushing the other Warrior down 1 into 8th.

Tanks and Healers

We're also taking a look at the other two roles this time around and, as always, there's been very little movement in the rankings, and we're looking at the data over 2 weeks:

Tanks

Nothing's changed for the tanks in the DPS department for quite a while now and the past two weeks aren't any different as Protection sits on top, with Brewmasters actually very close, and then the rest not really in the same league.

Healers

The healers actually saw some changes since last we checked in the HPS department, as Discipline has pushed into 2nd, and while all the non-Mistweaver specs are pretty much the same, Holy also sneaked past Resto Shamans.

Boss-Specific DPS Rankings

And since it's a whole new year, let's take another look at some of the most crucial bosses!

Painsmith:

Ret is still the top pick for the painiest of smiths, as Frost DKs and Fury Warrs close out the top 3.

Kel'Thuzad:

KT still has a big weakness for Shamans (Elemental that is, no one has a weakness for Enh) while Windwalkers and Affliction fight it out for the 2nd spot week over week, and Fury and Survival close out the top 5 (with the Hunter spec rising a lot recently).

Sylvanas:

The most controversial WoW NPC of all time is a lot more stable in her weaknesses than she is in her characterization, as Balance and Feral are the top picks pretty consistently, while Survival sneaked into 3rd place this week. Arcane and Marksmanship also broke up the previous Rogue dominance and scattered the yellow a little,  but Rogues are still very strong on the boss.

Heroic DPS Rankings

We have to go down into 8th place to spot the first movement in the Heroic rankings, as Feral rose 2, pushing Demonology down into 9th, as Outlaw closes out the top 10.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, for a DPS tier list you can go here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale

We've looked at the Mythic+ Tier List for the first time in Patch 10.2.6!
