With the Forbidden Reach becoming a max-level zone in Patch 10.0.7, players can collect keys to open doors in the Zskera Vaults, a place where Neltharion hid his riches.

Disclaimer

The following article provides a very early look at the Forbidden Reach (max level) zone in Patch 10.0.7. Many features are not available for testing yet and with future PTR builds, this article will soon be outdated.

The Zskera Vaults

When you first enter the Forbidden Reach, you will receive a quest to explore the mysterious Zskera Vaults.

The vaults contain various riches, but to access them, you will need Zskera Vault Key Zskera Vault Keys. For the quest, you'll get the first 6 free, but you'll need to farm more from Rare Elites, opening Treasure Chests eventually, and other sources on the island.

The Zskera Vaults are essentially a big room full of doors that you open using keys. A key is consumed every time you open a door.

Behind the doors, you will find treasure chests, Rare Elites, or puzzles that need to be solved. The doors have a daily reset and are procedurally generated for every character, so they will never be the same.

The Zskera Vaults Rewards

We've noticed the previously-determined Primordial Gems drop here. Primordial Gems are sockets coming in Patch 10.0.7.

Other rewards include toys and battle pets.

Here are some of the pets that drop in the Zskera Vault chests.

Intriguing, kinda reminds me of the treasure map mini game in FFXIV but within an instance (dungeon).  However I wonder if the rooms will remain the same with the puzzles and Rares or change per daily reset.  And if the Primordial Gems are the rewards I wonder if the gems will solely be based on rng drop or something that can offset the rng to a min.  I know that this info can change so I'll keep tabs on it and see how it undergoes on the PTR.

Those with PTR access and feel that Blizzard are doing or heading for another repeat with Domination Shards from SL I strongly suggest you test this and report your concerns on the Bug Reports and PTR Forums once this patch is ready for testing.

A funny "Too Hot to Handle" reference has been discovered in Zaralek Cavern in Patch 10.1.
When you target and /kiss Fyrakk in Zaralek Cavern, you will receive the Too Hot to Handle debuff and suffer Fire damage for 10 seconds.
Too Hot to Handle - Are you blushing, or is it just the 1 Fire damage being dealt every 1 sec?
The "Too Hot to Handle" reference was discovered by MrGM. Fyrakk is one of the Incarnates that escaped after Raszageth's defeat.

Blizzard have changed the 4-set bonus for the 10.1 armor on Windwalker Monks on the PTR.
      Windwalker PTR (Source)
We have deployed a hotfix to the 10.1 PTR realms to adjust the Windwalker Monk 4-Set bonus. The new bonus is as follows:
      Windwalker Monk:
      (4) Set Bonus: Fists of Fury deals 25% increased damage to the primary target and increases Shadow and Fire damage you deal to all targets hit by 40% for 15 sec. Developer’s note: This hotfix replaces the existing 10.1 Windwalker Class Set Bonus with a new effect. While we loved the fantasy of granting Windwalkers an additional spirit, we heard your feedback around the resultant lack of control loud and clear and are making this change as a result.
