Legendary gems will stop dropping, but you can get additional ones to drop if you store a legendary gem on another character (you will receive the 'hidden' one.)

  • 60%: Gem's Rank + 6 ≥ Greater Rift Level ≥ 0;

here's the mistake, it should be

60%: Gem's Rank + 6 ≥ Greater Rift Level ≥ Gem's Rank;

Very, very helpful Diablo guides. Excuse my ignorance but can the legendary gems only be upgraded when unsocketed? Thank you

Nope, you can upgrade any Legendary Gem you've got either in your inventory, stash or equipped. You can even switch them between characters.

The minimum Rift levels needed to get 100% every time is over by 1. It should be 12, 15, 18, etc.

If you run a rift at rank 13, with a rank 1 gem, the following happens:

Rank 1 to Rank 2 = 100%

Rank 2 to Rank 3 = 100%

Rank 3 to Rank 4 = 100%

If you did it on rank 12, you would have that final upgrade as a 90% chance.

Legendary Gems start at Rank 0, not Rank 1

You are correct! Apologies for that, my mistake. I'll make sure that the writers are made aware and this gets fixed.

"Urshi asks you to choose between upgrading your gem or refunding you an upgraded Keystone"

Is this still true?

No it is not. This entire guide will get an update, since it has a bit of outdated info. Will post here when it is updated!

Boon of the Hoarder is no longer exclusive to Greed, it also drops in G-Rifts.

Could anyone tell me how to get the gem recipes for royals? I started my first seasonal character and I totally forgot how to get the recipes since it's been so long since I got the recipes for my non seasonal characters.

You'll need to do bounties - they drop in the caches!

Missing the Esoteric Gem. The one that reduces all non-physical damage...

There are a few missing since it hasn't been updated in a while. I've made notes for it to be done, but yet to be so far - will ping the note again and get it done, sorry!

      The double XP weekend just ended today and now we get a new patch! This small patch fixes a number of issues, like anniversary transmogs not working properly, Rift progress orbs spawning closer to enemies, new Necromancer portraits and a few more minor fixes.
      Patch 2.6.0a - v2.6.0.46494 (source)
      Important: Please note that you will not be prompted to download Patch 2.6.0a until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is in the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after Patch 2.6.0a is live until those regions have also patched.

      If you are experiencing technical issues with the patching process, connecting to Blizzard Services after installing the patch, or errors while playing a newly-patched game, please visit our support site or post in the Technical Support forum for assistance.

      General Fixed a number of string corrections in German and Chinese localization clients Fixed an issue where the special items from the Diablo Anniversary dungeon had lost their unique appearance, icons, and associated transmogs Players who previously had these transmogs should have them once again after the patch deploys
      Adventure Mode When defeating enemies in Rifts, progress orbs that spawn will now be closer to the defeated enemy
      Items Moribund Gauntlets The audio for Moribund Gauntlets has been adjusted to be quieter
      Necromancer Necromancer portraits have been updated The existing portraits in game were intended to be placeholders, but weren't properly updated with the final patch. This is now resolved. Previous hotfixes (July 7).
