Dragonflight Mythic+ DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings for Season 1, Week 9: Post-Tuning

Recommended Posts

Clipboard02.jpg

Let's see what's happened to the Mythic+ rankings after the class tuning, as there's been a lot of reshuffling in the top 10, and Fire is becoming more and more of a threat to the yellow domination, but those boomkins also have a thing or two to say on the matter.

Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

This past week was:

Fortified Fortified, Bursting Bursting, Explosive Explosive (and Thundering Thundering )

All Keys

95th percentile

While the top 2 hasn't changed and the Rogues are still in charge, Subtlety has moved up quite a bit from all the other specs. Fire is the first big mover, continuing its upward trend and not relying on buffs from the tuning, as it takes over 3rd and looks to rise even higher, pushing Balance, Shadow and Havoc down one. Enhancement moves past Windwalker and Feral moves past Destruction, as the top 10 doesn't get any new visitors, while Arms moves a little closer to it. The bottom 3 remain the same, but we do see Survival moving up a little, as it may take a bit longer for the tuning buffs to take effect.

All Percentiles

There's a lot more movement in the generalist bracket this time around. Balance gains a spot, unlike in the top percentiles, taking 2nd over from Outlaw, and while Fire isn't in as high a position as in the top brackets it actually rises more here, taking a big 4-spot leap into 4th. Havoc takes down Windwalker for 5th and Enhancement moves past both Shadow and Destruction into 6th, while Feral and Unholy play nice together and finish out the top 10.

Tanks

It seems the big Guardian buffs haven't taken effect just yet, as the spec is still at the bottom, with Warriors reigning supreme as usual, and the only real change being DHs moving past Paladins.

Healers

The slight nerf to Evokers and buff to Druids didn't change anything yet for healers, as the new spec in town is still at the top. In fact, the only change we do see is Holy move past Discipline in the middle of the pack.

Honestly balance is looking pretty good if they could just get those bottom few specs up to 90k and bring down top rogue to near 95k that would be pretty much perfect. 5k between top and bottom I feel like should be goal.

A funny "Too Hot to Handle" reference has been discovered in Zaralek Cavern in Patch 10.1.
When you target and /kiss Fyrakk in Zaralek Cavern, you will receive the Too Hot to Handle debuff and suffer Fire damage for 10 seconds.
Too Hot to Handle - Are you blushing, or is it just the 1 Fire damage being dealt every 1 sec?
The "Too Hot to Handle" reference was discovered by MrGM. Fyrakk is one of the Incarnates that escaped after Raszageth's defeat.

Blizzard have changed the 4-set bonus for the 10.1 armor on Windwalker Monks on the PTR.
      Windwalker PTR (Source)
We have deployed a hotfix to the 10.1 PTR realms to adjust the Windwalker Monk 4-Set bonus. The new bonus is as follows:
      Windwalker Monk:
      (4) Set Bonus: Fists of Fury deals 25% increased damage to the primary target and increases Shadow and Fire damage you deal to all targets hit by 40% for 15 sec. Developer’s note: This hotfix replaces the existing 10.1 Windwalker Class Set Bonus with a new effect. While we loved the fantasy of granting Windwalkers an additional spirit, we heard your feedback around the resultant lack of control loud and clear and are making this change as a result.
