Final Dragonflight Season 1 DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings for Vault of the Incarnates

Recommended Posts

The final log rankings of the season are upon us as patch 10.1 arrives tomorrow! We get a great overview of where the end of Season 1 landed for all the specs in the Vault, with the DKs celebrating after the recent round of tuning, and a new (but very expected) No.1 arrives, as we take a look at the overall and boss DPS, tank DPS and healer HPS!

Mythic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

The reign of the DKs brings Season 1 to a close as Unholy takes the crown in the final week, after its buff! Marksmanship fought its way back into third as Destruction falls off a huge 7 places to the bottom of the top 10, while Devastation also claws its way back close to its former and long held No-2-spot-glory, landing in 4th here at the end. Arms is the big mover this week as it jumps 5 spots up into 5th, bringing its fellow melee Retribution along for the ride. The Paladin spec has had a very tumultuous month, as it got to the very top for a brief time but was then quickly nerfed and ends the season in the middle of the top 10.

Havoc and Subtletly hold their ground in 7 and 8, while the Warlocks close out the top 10, both having fallen but Demonology getting a much softer landing, only losing 3 spots as opposed to Destro's 7. Shadow and Outlaw also stick together just outside the top 10, as the bottom 3 remain exactly the same, the Hunter-Rogue sandwich closing out the top percentiles.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The generalist bracket proves Frost DK is a challenging spec to play as it is way down in 12th here, but as predicted its fellow DK rose to the top this week, claiming the No.1 spot in the all percentiles bracket as well. Retribution finishes the season off with a bang as it climbs up into 2nd, with Subtletly relinquishing its throne and dropping 2 spots to the newcomers. We then have a very stable 3-spec block as Marksmanship, Arms and Havoc hold their ground while Outlaw rises 1, as the Warlocks have the opposite trajectory here than in the top percentiles, as Demo and Destro actually move up, 1 and 3 spots, respectively. Shadow holds down the fort in 10th, just ahead of Frost DK with its 4 spot fall, while we see the same two Hunter specs in the bottom 3, this time joined by Frost Mage.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

With a clean sweep in Mythic, Unholy is the undisputed king of the Season 1 close, with a massive lead over every other spec here. Affliction and Destruction arrive next, as we see the big differences between the total damage and boss only, with three specs we've seen in the literal bottom 3  landing in 4th to 7th here, as Assassination, Beast Mastery and Survival get their time in the sun. The bottom here is reserved for Windwalker, Fury and Havoc, with the first two really not doing well anywhere, but at least the DH can console itself with its good performance in the overall damage charts.

Healer HPS

While the healers don't move much it's been a long time since we checked in, and Holy Priest has been doing some work! Preservation has been in charge for a fair chunk of the season but finds itself in 2nd place in the end, as Mistweaver remains solid in 3rd and the rest also haven't moved in a long time.

Tank DPS

Brewmaster fights its way up to No.1 as it takes down Guardian in the damage dealt section, as Protection Paladin also rises 2 spots into 3rd.

Heroic Overall DPS

Unholy is on top in every DPS chart we take a look at, with Heroic confirming that once again. Arms rises 2 spots into 2nd while Retribution stays strong in 3rd, and while Marksmanship climbs up 2 spots it's Arcane that makes the waves as it has a massive 15-spot leap into 5th! The bottom 3 shows just how different Heroic is from the top Mythic rankings, with Frost DK at the very bottom and Devastation not far behind.

We're taking a closer look at the Mythic+ Tier List for the fifth week of Dragonflight Season 2!
      DISCLAIMER
The following post is based on statistics provided by Subcreation, a website that gathers various Mythic+ data from live servers. Please note that the tier list is biased toward the top end because it only looks at the top 100 keys per dungeon per affix and ignores keys below +16 and untimed runs.
For the reasons mentioned above, the data presented here will always differ from the Mythic Tier Lists maintained by Petko.
      Data Reliability
The data used in the post comes from Subcreation, a site maintained by Alcaras. Subcreation provides statistical analysis of Mythic+ dungeons, raids, and PvP in Shadowlands, and the data is provided via the Warcraft Logs API and Raider.io. If you'd like to support Subcreation, you can check out their Patreon.
      How the Data is Calculated
The site looks at the top 100 keys per dungeon per affix across all regions and examines their raider.io scores. For each dungeon and specialization, the site takes the lower bound of a 95% confidence interval of the top 100 runs for each specialization. The site then averages these lower bounds, one per dungeon, to get an overall average lower bound for each spec, which is finally used to create the tier list.
The site takes the lower bounds of the 95% confidence interval calculated and then clusters them into 6 buckets using the Ckmeans algorithm. You can find more information by reading the site's FAQ.
Tanks, Healers, Melee, and Ranged are all on the same scale. They're just shown separately for easier comparison across roles.
Mythic+ Tier List for Dragonflight Season 2 Week 5
The specs are ranked based on their lb_ci which stands for the lower bound of a 95% confidence interval. If a certain tier is missing, it's not occupied by any specialization.
The following tier list is for this week's affixes: Tyrannical, Volcanic, Sanguine.
The images from Subcreation are currently experiencing some issues as classes are listed in the incorrect order, but you will find the correct order in text format.

Quantum items are a new type of cosmetics coming in Patch 10.1.5 that teach you appearances from the past, including weapons and armor.
The latest Patch 10.1.5 Build 49908 adds quantum items. While we don't know exactly how they will work, the tied spells indicate they will teach you item appearances from the past. Maybe this is Blizzard's new way of bringing back removed items like the ones from Zul'Gurub or Naxxramas in Patch 10.1.5 and instead of having X items you must collect, there will be just 1 sort of "token" with many appearances tied to it.
The following Quantum items have been added so far:
Quantum Wand Quantum Staff Quantum Warglaives Quantum Sword Quantum Polearm Quantum Shield Quantum Mace Quantum Shoulders Quantum Headpiece Quantum Knuckles Quantum Legs Quantum Knife Quantum Focus Quantum Greathammer Quantum Greatsword Quantum Gloves Quantum Bow Quantum Crossbow Quantum Firearm Quantum Chestpiece Quantum Axe
