Dragonflight 10.1.7 Raid DPS Log Rankings for Aberrus, Week 8

Patch 10.2 arrives next week and this is our penultimate look at the 10.1.7 Aberrus rankings! The top percentiles keep on switching up the top 3, the generalist bracket is super stable and there's a lot of movement at the top in Heroic of all places, so let's take a look.

Mythic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

It seems absolutely impossible for the top 3 to remain the same in the top percentiles, as we have another shuffle at the very top, with the Evoker now grabbing the throne. Frost DK remains steady in 3rd and Unholy will probably be back on top next week. Fire is moving on up as it rushes past Enhancement, while Arcane is moving down, losing 3 spots. Marksmanship closes out the top 10, while Survival makes a new entry in the bottom 3, coming in straight into dead-last.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The first movement sees Frost DK move up to 6th here in the generalist bracket as things are pretty stable overall. Devastation drops a few spots down to 11th while Arms makes a big 4-spot move up to 10th.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

Augmentation moves two up to 4th in the direct damage category, while Arms drops one down into 9th, losing out to Feral, while Retribution gains three places to close out the top 10.

Heroic DPS

Arcane's eternal lead is actually diminishing here at the end of the patch, with Affliction pushing up into 2nd and getting closer to the Mage than any other spec has so far. Shadow drops 3 spots into 5th as both Assassination and Enhancement also move past it.

      The spellbook has been redesigned in the War Within update, but not everyone likes the new UI. Here’s why.
      Starting with the War Within pre-patch on July 23, this is what the spellbook in World of Warcraft will look like. 

      With no resize option implemented for the spellbook, the main complaint is that the new design takes up the entire screen.
      There’s only one button to resize it, and even then, the single tab still dominates the screen. If only the background were translucent, so you could see what's happening with your character.

      Hunters are the obvious choice because they are easy to play and have unparalleled survivability. With two pets out, there's barely a chance enemies will ever touch you before they die. The class has good mobility because most spells can be cast on the move. Paladins are favored for their ability to both tank and heal. Many players also love the class fantasy and armor. Druids are often picked for their versatility. You have the whole package in 1 class. They also bring a lot of utility in both Mythic+ and raids. Maybe you're thinking, "Stan, why should I choose my main based on what most people pick according to Reddit comments?" That's a valid question—you don't have to. This post is just here to give some ideas, like when you're looking up names for your WoW character.       Find out how Delve gearing works in the War Within Season 1!
      Now that Beta feels almost complete, it's time to check out how Delve gearing works in the new Season! For starters, it's important to mention a few things:
      Delves have 11 tiers of difficulty. The first 3 tiers unlock are unlocked by default. Tier 4+ will unlock by completing the previous difficulty of Delves without running out of revives. The amount of revives you have at your disposal will decrease the higher the difficulty you go. Regular Delves (regardless of Tier) provide Item Level 554 gear that cannot be upgraded. Bountiful Delves (Tier 8-11) provide Item Level 603 3/8 Champion gear. They require Restored Coffer Keys earned from weekly activities. These are not capped. Delver's Bounty is an item that drops from Delves once per week that guaranteed s Hidden Trove at the end of your next run. This contains Item Level 610 1/6 Hero gear in Tier 8. The Great Vault now includes Delves in the War Within. The item level is capped at Tier 8, which means doing Tier 9-11 is for bragging rights only, as explained in an interview with the devs. Thanks to MrGM for providing the details.
