"Elemental Shamans have several incredibly new rotational abilities in Season of Discovery, but the primary problem faced by Elemental Shamans has always been mana. This will not change in SoD, where you can expect to run out of resources far quicker than other casters. They will have exceptional burst damage both on single target and AoE, but it will require lots of mana management and drinking in between pulls."

I mean there is a rune that give like... 80% of your mana every minute ? 

The "shaman is bad because.... no mana!!!!" argument doesn't work anymore with the right setting, shamelio use even less mana then elem.

No updates since SoD went live, I doubt this tier list is accurate.

I would put Shadow priest higher than balance due to the fact that Homonculi is an incredible ability to have on bosses.

Enhancement would be a little bit higher too, since Lava Burst does quite a bit of damage and a better choice over Lava Lash. Double Rockbiter means you'll have aggro problem, though.

As another user posted. This author does not play shaman enough. Mana management is already solved with shamanistic rage. I have played with Enhanc shamans and some good players can top the dps-meters. Now just imagine next phase when they will be able to use windury (the good version, not cat forms totem version).

Elemental shamans does not have mana issues, they have dmg issues. Lava burst is very nice but lightning bolt is severly lacking due to talents. The cast time reduction is very deep in the elemental tree. Using up 3 seconds for an average spell is just not worth it.
