Dragonflight Season 3 Mythic+ DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings: Week 5

Recommended Posts

It's time to check out all the specs and roles in this week's log rankings! Mythic+ seems to have returned to its very stable nature, despite the two tuning passes (with the third coming online yesterday/today). There's still plenty of movement despite that, so let's dive in and see how the tanks and healers are doing as well.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

All Keys

95th percentile DPS

Mythic+ is extremely resilient to tuning it seems, as the top 5 is identical to last week! Frost Mage breaks the ice and takes Balance down in 6th, while Fury and Retribution both move past Beast Mastery after the nerf, and close out the top 10. The bottom 3 also remain the same, with Devastation now in a Warlock sandwich.

All Percentiles

The generalist bracket is even more stable, as usual, as we go down to No.8 to see the first change, with Arcane dropping to 10th and letting Fury and Beast Mastery through. Retribution and the Roue duo stay stable in 11th through 13th.

U.GG DPS Rankings

U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.

The raw DPS logs are also pretty stable, but we already see a change at No.6, as Retribution falls off a cliff, 5 spots down, switching places with Marksmanship who is having a great week. Assassination is also down, 2 spots, as Fire rises 3 to take its place. Survival moves up 1 spot into 8th, and Fury closes out the top 10, down 2. Devastation joins the bottom 3, making it two Evokers instead of two Warlocks there (although Destruction didn't move too far away).

Tank (Points)

It's been a while since we checked in on the tanks and healers, and not much has changed for Vengeance at least, as it still rules supreme in the dungeons. Protection Paladin has made the biggest move, climbing 2 spots into 2nd, which is a lot considering it's a 6-spot leaderboard! The rest actually remain the same, just moving down to accommodate the pink one.

Healer (Points)

Discipline still reigns, but we do see Mistweaver take down Holy Pala, as Preservation plummets to the bottom from its previous 4th position and the rest re-arrange accordingly.

Danta is back with another soloing guide, this time, covering how to obtain Glory of the Uldir Raider achievement that rewards a crawg mount!
Glory of the Uldir Raider rewards the Bloodgorged Crawg mount and you must enter Uldir, the first Battle for Azeroth raid, to earn the achievement and get the mount.
Here's what the mount looks like:
      Bloodgorged Crawg
This crawg was left alone to feast on G'huun's corrupted blood and rot. He was so happy.

The Uldir meta-achievement requires players to complete a total of 8 achievements (1 per boss). For more details, you can watch Danta's video linked below.
In case you've missed it, there's also a guide on how to solo the Tomb raider meta-achievement.

It's surprising to learn just how many racial abilities have been removed from WoW over the years (or changed/nerfed enough as to basically be a different ability). Today we have hirumaredx going over some of the most overpowered and fun ones.
The first one triggers me greatly, as the idea of tauren just running around really fast instead of mounting was one of the reasons I even installed WoW back in the day in the first place! The video also talks about Priest-specific racial spells , some that don't fit the OP or fun description of the video, the Blood Elf ones you knew would be featured, and more.

During one raid, we got to see the Fyr'alath bad luck protection buff work wonders, yielding 12 drops from a single Fyrakk kill.
Sacolas shared an interesting shot on Reddit, showing 12 Fyr'alaths dropping simultaneously! This might just be the record for the most Fyr'alath the Dreamrender drops we've seen from a single kill to date. Sadly, the original poster missed out on the quest item, and looted instead a Greater Ember of Fyr'alath. Here's hoping for better luck next week!

What's the highest number of Fyr'alaths you've seen drop from one kill? Let us know in the comments below!
