Dragonflight Season 3 Mythic+ DPS Log Rankings, Week 7

Recommended Posts

Clipboard02.jpg

We have a conflicted week in M+, as the points rankings are getting really stable, but the raw DPS ones are more chaotic than ever! There's some good news for Windwalkers and Paladins, so let's dive in.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

All Keys

95th percentile DPS

Mythic+ has really settled into its groove and it's looking to stay stable at least until the January 16th patch! We go down all the way to 7th to see the first change, where Retribution moved 1 up and Frost Mage dropped 2. Destruction is only now seeing the effects of the class tuning, as it rises 4 into 8th, as Enhancement remains very stable in 10th. Subtletly also rises a few spots, taking down Fury in 11th, while the bottom 3 remains the same.

Things are a bit more hectic in the generalist bracket, as we see Fire make some big moves, taking 2nd and moving 2 up, pushing both Outlaw and Havoc down. Retribution is on the war path even more here, grabbing two spots in 7th, as Beast Mastery moves ahead of Subtletly as well, with Enhancement in the middle. We also finally see some light green in the upper reaches, with Windwalker moving up 3 spots to just outside the top 10! Frost DK joins Marksmanship and Affliction in the bottom 3, as Destruction starts moving out of the bottom altogether.

U.GG DPS Rankings

U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.

Windwalker proves it wasn't just a fluke last week, as it remains in 4th in the raw DPS rankings! We find our first big move in 6th already, where Enhancement has fallen off the map, losing a giant 8 spots. Destruction is the first to take advantage and moves into the Shaman's 6th spot, up 3 from last week. Frost Mage is having a very good time, as it rises a huge 9 spots into 7th, even beating out the previous occupant, its fellow Mage Fire. Destruction drops 3 spots and Fury 1, as they find themselves at the bottom of the top 10. Retribution is looking in, losing 3 spots since last week and now sitting in 11th.

Fury is fun. Just still feel like it falls off in higher keys.

Every time I turn the game on I think "I should go back to Fury, right...". I'm liking Enhance at the moment though, it's basically a more magic-y Fury anyway.

Exactly. Enhance is fun and feels great. How do you let Fury wield two two handers but still feels like I am using pool noodles.

Danta is back with another soloing guide, this time, covering how to obtain Glory of the Uldir Raider achievement that rewards a crawg mount!
Glory of the Uldir Raider rewards the Bloodgorged Crawg mount and you must enter Uldir, the first Battle for Azeroth raid, to earn the achievement and get the mount.
Here's what the mount looks like:
      Bloodgorged Crawg
This crawg was left alone to feast on G'huun's corrupted blood and rot. He was so happy.

The Uldir meta-achievement requires players to complete a total of 8 achievements (1 per boss). For more details, you can watch Danta's video linked below.
In case you've missed it, there's also a guide on how to solo the Tomb raider meta-achievement.

It's surprising to learn just how many racial abilities have been removed from WoW over the years (or changed/nerfed enough as to basically be a different ability). Today we have hirumaredx going over some of the most overpowered and fun ones.
The first one triggers me greatly, as the idea of tauren just running around really fast instead of mounting was one of the reasons I even installed WoW back in the day in the first place! The video also talks about Priest-specific racial spells , some that don't fit the OP or fun description of the video, the Blood Elf ones you knew would be featured, and more.

During one raid, we got to see the Fyr'alath bad luck protection buff work wonders, yielding 12 drops from a single Fyrakk kill.
Sacolas shared an interesting shot on Reddit, showing 12 Fyr'alaths dropping simultaneously! This might just be the record for the most Fyr'alath the Dreamrender drops we've seen from a single kill to date. Sadly, the original poster missed out on the quest item, and looted instead a Greater Ember of Fyr'alath. Here's hoping for better luck next week!

What's the highest number of Fyr'alaths you've seen drop from one kill? Let us know in the comments below!
