Amirdrassil 10.2.6 Raid DPS and Healer Log Rankings, Week 1

Recommended Posts

It's time to see how the patch 10.2.6 changes affected the raid rankings! While most of the class changes were to previous raids' set bonuses (in preparation for Season 4), there was still quite a bit changed, mostly for healers.

Note: We are using Normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. The u.gg rankings at the bottom are raw DPS. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it's AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

While the patch didn't change much for DPS, there's always movement in the top percentiles. Even though no one has managed to take Subtlety down yet, we do see a new No.2, as Unholy takes the lead in the DK war, with Frost falling 3 down into 5th. We also see Fury continuing its rise, as the spec gets stronger and stronger as a patch goes on, and since 10.2.6 wasn't a gear reset, here comes the Warrior into 3rd! Fellow axe-wielder Retribution also moves one up, taking advantage of Frost's fall, and we now have spots 2-4 filled with Fyr'alath wielders. Meanwhile, Elemental surges forward after it's significant buff before the patch, gaining another 3 spots in 6th. The rest of the top 10 remains the same, all pushed down one by the Shaman's rise. Feral moves into the bottom 3, as Affliction managed to get out.

The top 5 is rock solid in the generalist bracket, but we do see a change right after that, as Survival drops down all the way to the bottom of the top 10, losing 4 spots. Unholy moves into the Hunter's No.6 while Frost actually rises 3 spots here, joining its fellow DK, with Fire and Arcane Mages also clustered up right after that.

Unholy moves on up the chart, looking to possibly even take Subtlety down now that the axes are flowing to many players. The Druids gather up and move to 7 and 8, Feral leading the pack.

We have to go all the way down to 8th to see any movement in Heroic, as Balance makes some waves and gains two spots. Fire and Fury also rise into the top 10, with the Warrior closing things out.

Healers got some big changes with the patch, with Mistweaver and Holy Priest getting reworks. Things seem to have worked out for the Monk, but not so much for the Priest, as we see them at the top and bottom of the rankings.

U.GG Raw DPS Rankings

U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks. This chart is for Mythic only.

Retribution makes its way into the top 3 in the raw DPS charts, taking Subtlety down another notch. Marksmanship makes a surprise appearance in 6th, moving a massive 13 spots up from last week, as the pre-patch buff seems to be taking effect. Survival is also making use of the buff, but only moves two up into 9th, with Frost DK closing things out in 10th, two spots down from last week. Feral manages to dig its way out of the bottom 3, as Destruction takes its place.

Find out how to unlock the mobile Warband bank in the War Within pre-patch!
If you're wondering why is Gadgetzan so full in the pre-patch, it's because players are working on unlocking their mobile Warband banks!
When you log in to the game in the pre-patch, you will find the Warbands: Warbanding Together quest in your quest log. To complete the quest, you must meet Blue and her Warband in Gadgetzan.

Take the Caverns of Time portal in the Stormwind / Orgrimmar portal room and fly to Gadgetzan. At the end of the questline, you will learn the Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor spell that lets you summon your Warband Bank for 10 minutes every 4 hours.
You can also watch LeystTV's short video below covering the acquisition method.

There's always a surprise from the upcoming expansion that makes its way into the game ahead of schedule. This time, it's the Coffer Key Shard, a crucial item for creating keys to unlock loot at the end of delves!
Players can collect Coffer Key Shards in "The War Within" from various activities, including world quests, weekly quests, and the Worldsoul Memory event, among others. Gather 100 shards, and you'll create a Restored Coffer Key, which grants access to treasure chests at the end of bountiful delves.
Though these shards aren't supposed to be available yet, SamuraiGlavin managed to loot one from a lava worm near Obsidian Citadel in western Waking Shores.

With the XP nerfs now live on retail, leveling up characters in MoP Remix is faster than ever. Expect to save at least 40 minutes when reaching Level 70!
The War Within pre-patch introduced significant XP nerfs, lowering the amount of XP needed to reach Level 70. Players in MoP Remix are already noticing the difference with drastically reduced leveling times.
One player shared their /played time, hitting Level 70 in just 1 hour and 12 minutes by only doing normal/heroic dungeon farms and opening mail around Level 40.
This player, with about 149% XP on their cloak, noted that before the pre-patch, it took 1 hour and 52 minutes to reach Level 70. The XP nerfs effectively shaved off at least 40 minutes from the leveling process.
Before the War Within pre-patch, we saw some impressive records of players reaching Level 70 in MoP Remix in as little as 30 or 48 minutes. With these new XP nerfs, it's only a matter of time before someone hits max level in MoP Remix in as little as 20 minutes!
