Zenless Zone Zero players have been waiting for them, and we finally spot signs of the idol faction, Angels of Delusion! How much longer will we have to wait for them?
It has been a full year since Zenless Zone Zero launched, and ever since, one faction has remained elusive despite early teasers: Angels of Delusion, the rather cool looking idol group that fans have been dying to see in action. Now, the wait may finally be over.
Recently, leaked character models have surfaced on Reddit, giving us our first real look at members of the Angels of Delusion, specifically Chinatsu Remiel:
While HoYoverse has not made anything official yet, the appearance of full character models strongly suggests that they will drop soon, potentially as early as the next major patch, or the one right after.
Back in the game's promotional phase and early lore drops, Angels of Delusion were introduced as a mysterious idol group with their own distinct style. However, since release, they have remained entirely absent from the playable cast and storyline, leaving players wondering if they'd scrapped or simply delayed.
If true, the next livestream may finally lift the curtain on the idol group, and possibly bring new story content centered around them. For now, one of them is supposed to appear in the upcoming Summer Event!
After a year of silence, it looks like the Angels of Delusion are finally ready to step into the spotlight!

The first episode of Expert Challenge: Behind the Combat Design of Zenless Zone Zero just released, and the dev team shares secrets behind Yuzuha and Alice's combat designs!
HoYoverse just dropped a new behind-the-scenes video that delves into the combat design of Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming Agents, Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice, both coming in Version 2.1!
The dev team offered a rare peek into how each character was carefully crafted, from gameplay mechanics to visuals.
You can take a look at the video here:
Yuzuha: The Candy-Cracking Anomaly Support
Originally designed to stab enemies with blades from her umbrella (a mechanic called "scar"), Yuzuha's concept was completely reworked after the visuals did not land. The solution? Candy explosions.
Now, her combat effects explode into cookies, biscuits, and sweets, each themed by attribute. Beyond her sugary charm, she is the first general support for Anomaly teams, letting players choose which Agent's Anomaly Buildup Rate to boost, which is a first for the game. And she even features double Assist Follow-Up attacks, a technical leap for the dev team.
Alice: The Noble Rapier with Symmetry Obsession
Alice, the Physical Anomaly Agent from the Spook Shack faction, brings elegant, rhythmic swordplay, blending dash attacks, charged moves, and perfect symmetry in her animations.
From her perfectly centered Ultimate camera angles to sword toss illusions, Alice is all about stylish flow. The team also added kaleidoscopic visual effects and subtle rabbit-like gestures, like back-kicking on a Dodge Counter, for maximum character expression.
What Is Next?
The devs also teased:
A future massive-sword Agent, whose weapon is 3x taller than the user A new martial arts DPS with "anger-triggered" combat mechanics Both Alice and Yuzuha arrive in Zenless Zone Zero 2.1, with Yuzuha dropping during Phase 1, so get ready to head in and experience some of the most polished combat design yet!

Zenless Zone Zero just dropped a preview for their upcoming paid summer skins, but are they worth the cost? Learn how to get all of the new summer skins in Version 2.1!
If you're a fan of dressing up your favourite characters, why not pick up the latest summer skins releasing in Version 2.1? "The Impending Crash of Waves" version update in Zenless Zone Zero will feature not just two, but FOUR new summer skins to enjoy!
Both Wise and Belle are getting their own seasonal outfits, but did you know there will also be outfits for the upcoming characters Yuzuha and Alice? If you haven't heard much about the latest updates, check out our special program coverage here on IcyVeins!
The two upcoming PAID summer skins are Yuzuha's "Tanuki in Broad Daylight" and Alice's "Sea of Thyme"! Both will be featured on the "Today's Outfit" section in the Store and discounted for a limited-time.
During the discount period, paid skins are expected to cost 1,350 Monochromes each until the end of Version 2.1! The discount period is from July 15th to September 3rd, so you'll have a good 7 WEEKS to get both summer skins!
Once the limited-time period is over, players can continue to purchase the skins at 1,680 Monochromes each. This is the base price for any paid S-Rank outfits available. Monochromes are the game's premium currency, and can only be purchased with real-life money in the "Monochrome Market" section. The currency conversion is different for each country, so be sure to check the cost in-game!
If you're unfamiliar with Ukinami Yuzuha, she's one of the upcoming characters in Version 2.1 Phase 1! She's a Physical Support Agent who is just as great as Astra Yao, but for Anomaly squads instead. If you're looking to beef up your Anomaly team, why not pick up Yuzuha and her new summer outfit too? Yuzuha is only available to Signal Search from July 15th to August 6th, so get her before she's gone!
The other paid skin features Alice Thymefield, a new character that'll release with Version 2.1 Phase 2! Alice is a Physical Anomaly Agent, much like our very own Jane and Piper, but Alice is definitely more adorable thanks to her new outfit! It's a nice summer dress that will keep her cool at the beach, so why not pick her up before she's gone? Alice will be available to Signal Search from August 6th to September 3rd!
But wait, there's still more! Thankfully to get all the outfits, you won't have to pay more than 2,700 Monochromes total (at discount) during Version 2.1. The outfits for our beloved proxies, Wise's "Peaceful Waves" and Belle's "Summer Skies", are both FREE DURING VERSION 2.1!
To get Wise and Belle's outfits for free, be sure to complete missions in the upcoming Version 2.1 event Tales of Midsummer Dreams! This limited-time offer won't be forever though, as they will be added to the Store as paid purchases after September 3rd. Just like the other paid skins, you will need Monochromes to purchase from Version 2.2 onwards. Feel free to check out our event guide to get the free outfits before they're gone!
