Caesar's Best Mindscapes
Caesar has very good Mindscapes. Her M1 is definitely worth getting as she will apply her shield directly upon switching in combat. Her M2 gives her a small boost but can be overlooked. However, her M4 and M6 are rather powerful boosts in damage for herself and her entire team. As the first S-rank Defense character, she will most likely be a valuable team member in a lot of compositions, and as such, getting the most out of her Mindscapes can be a good investment.
# | Mindscape | Description |
---|---|---|
M1 | Spearhead Advance | When Caesar enters combat or switches in, she instantly buffs the entire team with a Radiant Aegis shield. This effect can trigger once every 300s. While Radiant Aegis is active, enemies within a 5m radius of the shield bearer suffer a 15% All-Attribute RES reduction. |
M2 | Legacy of the Far Lands | While Radiant Aegis from Core Passive: Barrier of Resilience is active, Caesar's Energy Generation increases by 10%, and the shield bearer's attack boost is increased to 150% of its original value. |
M3 | Absolute Trust | Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2. |
M4 | Aries the Battering-Ram | When Caesar uses a Chain Attack or Ultimate, she gains 3 additional Assist Points. If her Energy is below 20, she can activate EX Special Attack: Overpowered Shield Bash with 1 Assist Point instead. This substitution can trigger once every 5s. |
M5 | Romantic Conquest | Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2. |
M6 | Overlord's Will | EX Special Attack: Overpowered Shield Bash and Assist Follow-Up are guaranteed to trigger a critical hit. The skill's DMG is increased by 50% and deals additional 50% damage to the primary target. When Caesar uses EX Special Attack: Overpowered Shield Bash or Assist Follow-Up, her CRIT Rate is increased by 30% and her CRIT DMG is increased by 60% for 15s. |

How to Play Caesar King
Caesar King has the ability to defend, buff her team, and debuff enemies at the same time.
Her gameplay revolves around her EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, and Ultimate, since all of those will trigger her Shield. Once the shield is up, it will transfer to the on-field Agent and buff their Attack.
Caesar's additional ability will trigger when another member of the Sons of Calydon is in your team, but also when there is any agent that can trigger a Defensive Assist. This means most of the melee units (and some other agents) can be played with Caesar!
When the additional ability is triggered, Caesar Debuffs enemies, allowing your other agents to do more damage.
You will have to increase Caesar's Impact to make the most out of her, since her shield will be based on her Impact.
Perfect Block is triggered when an enemy attacks just after you activate EX Special Attack: parry counter or perform a shield strike. This will block the incoming damage, and if you press EX special attack right after, you activate her special attack: Overpowered Shield Bash without consuming energy.
When Caesar activates he Ex Special attack: parry counter, chain attack, or Ultimate, she will grant her Radiant Aegis shield to all squad members. This shield will increase their ATK and anti-interrupt level.
When you have enough Assist points, hold Basic attack to throw her Shield. This will also pull in smaller enemies.
Caesar King's Best Build Options

Main Stats |

Caesar's best W-Engine is her Tusks of Fury signature S-Rank W-Engine. It is the Best-in-Slot option for Caesar since it will increase her Impact, helping her scale her shield. It will also provide the whole squad with a damage and Daze boost.
Other W-Engines that can be useful to Caesar are Spring Embrace and Original Transmorpher who are both very good defensive w-engines for Caesar.
If you do not have any of the previously mentioned Defensive Engines, you can exceptionally go for a Stun w-engine with Impact % as main stat. The stat they provide are more worth than the other defensive W-engines which are not great.
Caesar's best Disc Drive is Proto Punk. It is the most useful option for her as it increases her Shield effect, and give an additional damage boost to the squad.
Shockstar Disco is good 2-piece options for more Impact. Swing Jazz is also a good option if you want some additional energy regen.
Bangboo Information
Red Moccus is the best Bangboo for Caesar and her team, as it is the Bangboo for
the Sons of Calydon.
Snap can be another good option.
If you are looking for a support type Bangboo, Exploreboo
or
Avocaboo are viable options, as they provide small
buffs or healing to the team.
Team Comps and Synergy
Caesar is extremely versatile and can be used in many teams. She has the ability to protect the squad on the long run, providing a lot of survivability, while also helping with squad buffs, and debuffing enemies. While not all team options are listed here, you can often replace any other support with Caesar if needed.
Sons of Calydon Teams
DPS | Defense | Support | Bangboo |
---|---|---|---|
Lighter | Caesar King | ||
Piper Wheel | Burnice White | Caesar King | Red Moccus |
You can either go for a complete Sons of Calydon team, or 2 agents just the Additional Ability bonus. Lighter has great synergy with Caesar, as they are both members of the Sons of Calydon, which activates Caesar's additional ability. At the same time, both Lighter and Caesar also increase Soldier 11 or Evelyn Chevalier's DMG making this squad very efficient. Caesar also further protects and boost the DPS unit, who will be unstoppable.
Double Defensive Buff Teams
DPS | Defense | Defense | Bangboo |
---|---|---|---|
Yixuan | Caesar King | Pan Yinhu | Belion |
While you typically would not go for two defense agents in one squad, this is one of the rare exceptions where it works. Pan Yinhu is currently the only character able to provide a Sheer buff, so if you play Yixuan you want to use Pan. Teaming them up with Caesar King allows Yixuan to convert Caesar's ATK buff into Sheer as well. While it is slightly diminished due to the fact not all the buff gets converted into Sheer, it is still a nice bonus for your DPS. On top of that, Caesar has enough Daze capacity to still be able to stun, on top of almost rendering your team invincible between Caesar's shield and Yixuan's own high invulnerability.
Other Possible Caesar Teams
DPS | Defense | Stun | Bangboo |
---|---|---|---|
Ellen Joe | Caesar King | Soukaku | Sharkboo |
Soldier 0 - Anby | Caesar King | Trigger | Plugboo |
Ellen Joe can also benefit from Caesar, combined with Soukaku, this would give a massive Attack buff to Ellen. This is of course if you didn't get lucky and missed out on Von Lycaon or Lighter.
Another good team for Caesar is with Soldier 0 - Anby and Trigger as she does not require that much on-field time, and can provide additional buffs to Anby.
