<IQ> of US-Proudmoore is recruiting!

With WoD here, our raiders have decided that it is time to look at some serious apps looking forward towards Mythic.

Our Operation:

Our weekday team is a group that strives to always do better than they did that last week. We finished Mythic SoO at around 470th US 10m and we plan to continue or improve on this trend this tier and going forward. When we are progressing, progression is the goal and should be yours as well. When we have bosses on farm, we take the time to have fun and try to show the mastery of our class by doing what we can to push rankings. Loot currently is distributed using /roll with 1 MS piece a week unless you are the only one rolling. This is the written rule but we often deviate as we are a friendly group and share loot based on who could really use it the best/most.

Our Info:

First off, I will start with our website:

http://iqguild.enjin.com/

This is how we communicate with current member and apps. Please follow the instructions on the first post if you plan to app.

If you like what you saw above then here are our raid times (EST):

Tue/Wed/Thur 8-11pm

We expect you to make these raid times 95-100% of the time. Missing a raid night once or twice every few weeks or month or taking a real life vacation is not a big deal, we have real life commitments, we understand. We do ask that you post when you will be AFK before hand so that we know. This is done through our website and NOT the calendar in-game alone. We provide guild repairs and food, but not flasks or potions which you are expected to use. We also use mumble so plan on having that installed and ready to go before we take you into any raid.

Our Requirements:

- Currently, we are looking most for healers of most specs and rDPS (primarily Boomkin and Mage). You can apply as any class currently but you will experience more difficulty acquiring an already filled spot. If you are up to that challenge, we will gladly take a look at you.

- You know your class backwards and forwards. I cannot stress this enough. Things have changed in WoD, but that is not going to be an excuse for anyone. The current team will have to go through the same transition so you are not alone and we expect you to have adapted just as we will have had to.

- You are reliable and flexible. Progression is progression and we push it. We will take the people doing repeatedly well each week for said events and that is how it is. There are fights that require certain amounts of melee/ranged/tanks/heals or just flat DPS/HPS requirements. We will not keep you from raiding all week but we do read logs and notice how people in our group play which brings me to my next point.

- Be ready for criticism and to criticize. There are lots of ways to kill a boss and lots of ways to maximize a class. None of the player on our team come to raid without ideas and participation in our raid related forum discussions is expected. We do not know the in's and out's of every class but no class in WoW is that different from the rest and we will ask you about your playstyle during your app based on what we see.

- Have logs from WARCRAFTLOGS.COM. We will not read WoL, it is a gigantic time sink. WCL can tell us a hundred times more about your playstyle and what could have gone wrong. It can only help your app to do this. We will take logs from Heroic dungeons, CM's, or any level of raid this tier.

- Most importantly, we want people who want to have fun!

To Conclude:

If this all sounds dope, then app at http://iqguild.enjin.com/

Follow the instructions please!

We look forward to seeing new apps and trialing you for two weeks if we think you are ready to raid with us. After two weeks (usually) we will evaluate and let you know where we will go from there. Good luck to all who app!

Personal Notes from Gnar:

If you use this post or my name in reference to an app, I request that you please fill in the app fully.  Do not skip any parts of the last question. They are all required.

      <Fepix – Magtheridon> - Alliance
Sick of pugging, looking for heroic progression, wanting to get into the guild raiding scene or just want an active discord to have a laugh in? Fepix could be the guild for you!
Fepix is heroic raiding guild founded and run by a group of friends. Every Tier our main aim is to get curve and then to step into mythic and take down the earlier bosses there in a calm and casual environment. Although we always seek to progress and improve as players, we like to maintain a lightheartedness within our community.
We also hope to give guildies an introduction into guild raiding, or to just help them gear up in our weekly normal farm run.
Normal raiding: (20:00-23:00 realm time Friday)
Our normal runs have no requirements other than fairly relevant gear (910ish for normal antorus), the willingness to listen to and learn from the raid leader and the other experienced raiders there and a good sense of humor! Those that attend the normal runs have the ability to progress to the heroic team if they show the qualities we look for in a heroic raider.

Progression Raiding: (20:00-23:00 realm time Sunday and Monday)
For our Progression team, we look for:
Reliability - the ability to have high attendance to raids, to arrive promptly at raid time, and should something come up that would stop you attending, to let an officer know ahead of raid time.
Adaptability – the ability to learn from mechanical mistakes and to show a bit of initiative in encounters to make those small plays that go above the norm that could potentially aid in the raid's success.
A laid-back personality – the ability to remain calm when you make or others make mistakes.
An off spec – Although this isn't necessary, it will make you slightly more valuable to the raid if you can play an interchangeable role based on the attendance of that raid or the demands of the encounter.

We are always open to applications from heroic raiders, people wanting to get into the raiding scene for the first time or people just sick of pugging and wanting a community of people to do content with.
We are currently looking for a main or off healer as a priority as we look to start progressing mythic in the coming weeks. However this still means we are open to applications from all other specs and classes as well.
We are hoping to bolster our raid team in preparation for BFA where we will continue with the same aims and system.

If you are interested in applying please message one of our recruiting officers on either discord or battle.net:
      Summerset (Raid Leader): Battle.net: Meep#2725 / Discord: Renkin#7628

      'Big Daddy' Chris (Guild Master) : Battle.net: Syconix#2181 / Discord: Syconix#7498

If you feel like watching one of our raids, Chris streams our heroic runs on: https://www.twitch.tv/syconix   - Come down and say hey!

This is a semi-hardcore guild built up by old raiding buddies, new friends and similar thinking individuals. We take raiding as serious as we need to, but we also understand real life issues happen, work commitments, family, friends etc. all this takes priority over the game, which we all get and help each other if and when we can. All we ask is that you let us know if you have any issues beforehand so we are fully prepared for any outcome - everyone's time is equally important.
We simply want to progress at a reasonable rate for the times we raid.
Our raiding nights and times are below:
       - Wednesday: 21:00-00:00 (Server Time)
       - Thursday: 21:00-00:00 (Server Time)
       - Sunday 21:00-00:00 (Server Time)
We are primarily looking for Ranged DPS, mainly a Boomkin or Hunter to join us in Antorus :)
If any of this applies to you and/or you wish to know more please message me in game: MrScottish#2400
Alternatively you can apply on our website http://saligia.guildlaunch.com/

      Hello,
The Sworn is recruiting DPS. We are a Horde guild on Arthas and our current progression is 5/11 Mythic Antorus. We only raid two nights a week, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:15 PM until 12:15 AM Eastern. Currently, our main goal is to push Mythic progression & finish out the raid before next patch, please keep this in mind if you wish to join us, because we will not be doing Heroic or anything like that.
From you, we would expect 100% attendance during your trial period; after that if you cannot make a raid or will be late it is mandatory to keep the raid leader updated. In order to continue making good progression while raiding only two nights a week, we expect that you know your class inside-out and will research any bosses you are unfamiliar with prior to raids.
As far as classes are concerned, at this time, we do not have ANY rogues, DPS warriors, havoc DH, or wind walkers.
If you are interested, add me to battle tag and we will talk (violentravi#1826), I will accept mostly anyone who wants to be a bench or casual, but for raiding purposes, you must be able to provide logs.
      Thank you for your consideration
      Xoxo

Safety not Guaranteed is an English speaking Alliance raiding guild on Emerald Dream. We raid 3 times a week and are mainly focused on mythic raiding.
      Current Progress:
      7/7M, 3/3M, 10/10M, 7/9M ToS, 5/11M Antorus
      Recruitment:
We are currently recruiting the following classes to progress with us through Antorus:

Melee DPS: DH, DK, Rogue, Warrior, Feral, Enh Shaman
Ranged DPS: Mage, Warlock, Priest, Boomkin, Ele Shaman
      Healer (1): Druid(preferred), Monk, Priest
      Our raiding schedule is:
      - Thursday: 20.00 - 23.00 (server time)
      - Monday: 20.00 - 23.00 (server time)
      - Tuesday: 20.00 - 23.00 (server time)
      Apply here: http://safetynotguaranteed.guildlaunch.com/
Even if we are not actively recruiting your class, we will consider any exceptional applications.
      About us:
Safety not Guaranteed (SnG) was initially formed on horde side by a small group of friends in early MoP, raiding 10man heroic. Later during the expansion we faction changed to Alliance and expanded our roster to a 20man mythic team, where we cleared SoO mythic as a guild. Many of us have been playing together since as early as WotLK, and have friendships with each other that extend outside the game as well.
Our goal ever since the guild was formed has been to progress through content at a steady pace, without hardcore hours, while having a good time together. We aim to clear each tier before the next one is released. In WoD we cleared 7/7M, 10/10M, 13/13M when relevant, and have cleared each tier so far in Legion obtaining most mythic cutting edge achievements, and plan to continue doing so.
      What we offer:
A structured mythic raiding team and raiding times. We start invites 19:45 and begin to clear trash so we can have the first pulls at 20:00 A fair rotation and loot distribution via loot council. We keep spreadsheets! A steady guild with a good community and good guild atmosphere. You may encounter some trolling during your stay. A focused attitude during progression, and relaxed attitude during farm content. We like to chat and have fun, but focus during difficult content. A desire to raid. We often run an extra raid day on the 1st week of a new raid tier. This is 100% optional, but most people are excited to get into a new instance. Additionally we often run some sort of alt raids on fridays (100% optional), and do a lot of mythic+ content within the guild.
      What we want from you:
High attendance. We expect a minimum of 80% attendance, though most of our raiders have near to 100%. We run a small roster to minimize rotation, and want to be able to rely on you. Commitment. We don't want someone who is looking to join, get geared and then leave. We have a 2-3 week trial period during which we will control gearing while we get to know you. Honesty. If you're having problems within the guild, or have real life issues, we'd like to hear rather than you just disappearing. Talk to us. Be prepared! This means reading up on new fights, having consumables (flask, pots, food, runes), gemming and enchanting properly, and being on time! Communication. We want you to know how to communicate both verbally and in writing. We use TeamSpeak for communicating in raids, though we also have a guild discord! Raiding awareness. We want you to not stand in fire, unless it's required... Progression oriented attitude. Everyone makes mistakes, but learning is part of progression, so we value people who continue to improve over time. Understanding. Sometimes, things don't always go smoothly. We may hit a wall on a specific boss for a while, or you may have to sit for someone else during a progression raid. This is part of mythic raiding. We try to treat everyone fairly, and are open to feedback.
