Sunday is considered one of the strongest supports for Jing Yuan because he directly supports Jing Yuan's biggest limitation, action frequency and Lightning Lord uptime. Jing Yuan's damage depends on how often he can act and keep his Lightning Lord consistently building stacks. Sunday boosts this by advancing turns and heavily improving Jing Yuan's ability to cycle his skills and ultimate faster, which leads to much more frequent and reliable Lightning Lord attacks.
Another key part is the -1 SPD setup, where Sunday acts after Jing Yuan. This allows Sunday to advance Jing Yuan's turn repeatedly, creating a loop where Jing Yuan takes more actions than usual. More actions means more stacks, more Lightning Lord hits, and higher overall damage.
Sunday also provides strong offensive buffs that scale with Jing Yuan's output, turning him from a slower DPS into a much more powerful and consistent damage dealer.
