element who follows the Path of Erudition. Jing Yuan is a powerful
main DPS who excels at dealing high amounts of AoE damage. His kit revolves

Character and Kit Overview
Jing Yuan is a Lightning DPS who does well in both single-target and AoE fights thanks to his unique follow-up attack system. While his Skill and Ultimate provide solid burst damage, the majority of his damage output comes from his summon "Lightning Lord" which is summoned from his Talent "Prana Extirpated", who acts independently and delivers heavy-hitting follow-up strikes.
Lightning Lord works as Jing Yuan's primary damage dealer. It has its own speed and action count system, building up through the use of Jing Yuan's Skill and Ultimate. Each action increases its attack potential, the Ultimate providing 3 hits per action whereas the Skill provides 2, allowing it to unleash AoE attacks that deal damage to a primary target while also hitting nearby enemies. This makes Jing Yuan especially strong in wave-based content, where consistent AoE pressure is highly valuable.
Although his visible skill multipliers may seem small at first glance, they are designed to support Lightning Lord rather than carry his damage directly. This results in a play style that rewards planning and consistent Skill usage, as maintaining Lightning Lord's stack generation is key to maximising damage output. When managed well, his damage scales extremely well over the course of a fight. While he may appear straightforward, his true power lies in optimising Lightning Lord's uptime and stacking, allowing him to output some of the strongest continuous AoE damage.
Jing Yuan's Best Teams

Jing Yuan's Best Eidolons
- E6 – Jing Yuan's E6 causes each hit from Lightning Lord when it acts to apply a vulnerability effect to enemies, making them take 12% more DMG. This effect lasts until the end of Lightning Lord's current turn and can stack up to 3 times. This significantly amplifies Jing Yuan's overall damage output, especially in longer Lightning Lord turns with multiple hits.
- E4 – Jing Yuan's E4 allows each hit from Lightning Lord to regenerate 2 Energy for him. With multiple hits during Lightning Lord's action, this can total up to 20 Energy restored, improving his Ultimate uptime.
- E2 – Jing Yuan's E2 increases his Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate DMG by 20% after Lightning Lord takes action, lasting for 2 turns. This provides a consistent damage boost across his entire kit, improving both his personal damage and his overall potential whenever Lightning Lord acts.
- E1 – When Lightning Lord attacks, the DMG multiplier applied to enemies adjacent to the main target is increased by an additional amount equal to 25% of the DMG multiplier dealt to the primary target. This enhances Jing Yuan's overall AoE damage, allowing Lightning Lord to deal more effective damage in multi-enemy fights.
