Phainon Best Team Compositions & Character Synergies

Sunday is the best Action Advance support in the game. Sunday provides 20% CRIT Rate, significant CRIT DMG buff and 30% DMG boost in addition to the Action Advance. Sunday's Ultimate also targets Phainon so it will generate two stacks of Coreflame (one for targeting, one for generating energy).

Bronya is a powerful Action Advance unit that provides a large single turn DMG increase with her Skill and ATK % and CRIT DMG % with her Ultimate. Bronya targets with her Skill and Ultimate so both grant stacks of Coreflame. The large Single Turn buff from her skill means Bronya has to be the last unit to act before Phainon's Ultimate so he has the buff for his entire Ultimate, we suggest Bronya being slightly slower than other advance units to make this easier.

Sparkle is a powerful Action Advance unit that provides a large CRIT DMG increase with her Skill as well as passive ATK % and DMG %. Sparkle targets with her Skill and Ultimate so both grant stacks of Coreflame. Sparkle's buff effectively lasts for almost two turns making her convenient to use, although care has to be made for SPD tuning to not waste her Action Advance. You will also need to activate Phainon's ultimate before he starts his 2nd turn after the Advance or Sparkle's Buff will expire.

Cerydra is a 5★ Harmony unit that is designed to work perfectly with Phainon. Cerydra provides a large increase in ATK, 20 SPD that means you can run ATK% boots over SPD boots. Cerydra's unique mechanic is that she causes Skills to repeat an additional time after she generates 6 Charge from using her Skill or from the buffed unit using Skills or Basic ATKs and this can charge during Phainons Ultimate. The Skill repeat also works during Phainon's Ultimate letting you get 1-2 additional Foundation: Stardeath Verdict's per Ultimate.

Tingyun is a 4★ Harmony unit that is quite strong with Phainon. Tingyun provides a moderate increase to ATK % and DMG % and makes Phainon deal Additional DMG on attack. Tingyun targets with her Skill and Ultimate so both grant stacks of Coreflame. Tingyun is especially powerful as she is naturally very with Dance! Dance! Dance! which is a very strong 4★ Limited Lightcone.

The Remembrance Trailblazer is a strong support unit with Phainon Teams. The Remembrance Trailblazer does not provide as many stacks of Coreflame as other support units but provides 36% damage replication as True DMG alongside a large CRIT DMG buff.

Huohuo is an excellent Sustain unit for Sustain Phainon teams. As a Sustain Unit Huohuo will provide 45% DMG from Phainons A4 Trace Bide in Flames as well as granting stacks of Coreflame. Huohuo's Ultimate grants 40% ATK to Phainon as well as an additional Coreflame from the Energy Generation.

Dan Heng is a strong Sustain Unit for Phainon Teams as his Souldragon Summon will not depart during Phainon's Ultimate as it will count as Phainon's Summon. As a Sustain unit Dan Heng will trigger Phainons A4 Trace Bide in Flames whenever he shields Phainon. Furthermore, Dan Heng's provides a decent ATK buff and his Skill will generate stacks of Coreflame to help enter the Ultimate more rapidly.

Hyacine is a strong Sustain Unit for Phainon Teams. Hyacine will trigger Phainons A4 Trace Bide in Flames whenever she heals Phainon which will give Phainon 45% increased DMG. Additionally, she will generate stacks of Coreflame from both her Skill and Ultimate as they both count as targeting Phainon. Little Ica's healing will still heal Phainon even while Little Ica is departed.
