Feral Tanks have a simple gemming priority in Wrath: stack Stamina as much as possible on every slot, only deviating to activate any Meta Gem requirements.

Phase 3 introduced epic gems from prospecting Titanium Ore. You can also transmute them with Alchemy or buy them with emblems.

Austere Earthsiege Diamond and Effulgent Skyflare Diamond are the best defensive Meta Gems, but Swift Skyflare Diamond is also a good option, especially if you had to miss out on Enchant Boots - Tuskarr's Vitality due to having Engineering.

Notably, using a single Nightmare Tear (or the weaker Enchanted Tear) will count as a gem of each color for Meta Gem requirements, making it an efficient way to cover a non-blue slot with a good socket bonus.

The Guardian's Dreadstone and Sovereign Dreadstone are the best Red Gems for satisfying Meta Socket bonuses.

Solid Majestic Zircon is the best Blue Gem, and stacking these is the best way to ensure high survivability in Wrath Classic.

Vivid Eye of Zul is the best Yellow Gem for satisfying Meta Socket bonuses.

As a tank, you will mostly be looking toward using defensive consumables.

Flask of Stoneblood is the recommended flask for Feral Tank, but ideally you will use two elixirs for maximum performance.

Guru's Elixir is the best Battle Elixir available due to Stamina's exceptional scaling for Feral Tanks, while Swiftness of Zanza (speed), Elixir of Protection (survivability), or Gift of Arthas (raid DPS) are the best Guardian Elixirs.

Blackened Dragonfin and Rhinolicious Wormsteak are the best foods available, depending on your current Expertise status.

Indestructible Potion is the best defensive potion available, but do not forget about healing potions for emergencies and Free Action Potions against stun-spamming enemies.
