Is it possible to get the "bis" gear updated for tov gear aswell , and idk if you can get a 880 chaos talisman , Would be nice to have it updated for a pleb like me , Seems like alot of the gear thats listed there is crit/haste/mastery which is not like statweights. But tov added alot of gear and kara aswell . Thanks in regards from a pleb rogue.

It will most likely be updated in the very near future for the release of NH and 7.1.5, so you'll see all new additions for that.

As for the CT, it can be upwards of 895, as long as your cache is kind to you.

The guides are currently being updated for 7.1.5! I just wanted to leave a few notes for all of our users that might be getting ready to leave a comment:

  • Some pages do not require updates. The "Last Updated" stat does not mean the page is out of date, it might just not have needed any changes. If you feel that it does, leave a comment telling us what needs changing and why.
  • The process will not happen immediately - some guides will be updated faster than others simply due to the number of resources available. Be patient, they'll be ready when you need them!
  • There might be some continuity errors when making small adjustments to large guide pages. If you do find one of these, just let us know in the comments and we'll get it fixed ASAP.
  • "Why have you not taken into account X buff to X ability?" - remember, just because something got buffed, it doesn't mean it is now automatically better than the other options!

As always, we want to thank you all for being patient while we get things updated and I'm always available to help you all if you need it :)

Just wanted to inform about a small detail on the 7.1.5 Outlaw preview, the Death from Above showcases the achievement and not the skill.

Will get that fixed, thanks!

sorry making a list of titanforged trinkets as best in slot is totally retarded.

and the second trinket list with the graphs is useless too because u can't tell at all what trinket it is. (add tooltip or item link)

Sorry if this has been asked. I have not yet tried SImc so i'll give that a try. For a while now Shadowcraft seems broken, the rings, necks and trinkets are all over the place for outlaw. Saying that some of the top performers are a crafted 815 blue item. I'm not sure if the sim just doesn't know what to do with outlaw, or if I'm missing something key. Also is there a good resource for soft and hard caps for stats (if those are still a thing).

I've been kinda winging it, leaning heavy into vers and crit, then subbing some of mr. robot suggestions, and can pull very good dps in raid. Usually around 400k. I end up keeping a lot of gear though, and trying to do the best tests I can on target dummies, because it's currently pretty difficult to figure out if an item that drops is better than a slightly lower ilevel which I have on.

All the best to you humans!

What is your question, exactly? Simcraft is a good resource, if you're knowledgeable enough to correctly interpret the information it spits out.

I have two questions.

First is the vers heavy stat weight listed here still accurate?

Second is shadowcraft broken when it comes to rings, trinkets, and necks? It swings very heavy with certain trinkets, saying up to 100k dps increase, when in fact the increase is usually small to nonexistent. There are also several enchants missing from the site.

Yes, Versatility is still very strong overall.

Shadowcraft has been a little wack this expansion so I personally have been using SimCraft exclusively.

Have you thought about putting together something for Rogues in Mythic+ Dungeons?  I assume Outlaw is still king in there, but are the stat priorities the same?

You can use the guide to succeed in M+ for sure, there should be notes on all talents that are to be used in an AoE situation, you just need to look slightly deeper into the analysis. We do have a set of heavy cleave talents already listed in the guide, though, so take a look at that.

Hey,just wondering is it still worth to include BTE (with greenskins waterlogged wristcuffs) into rotation after the recent nerf?I have not spent much time into research but i did several tests and it seemed like with only 200% damage increase it is not worth wasting gcd and precious CotDB seconds on that anymore (may be  if only true bearing has been rolled). It looks spamming just run throughs deals more damage now. What do you think?

From the guide:

Quote

Greenskin's Waterlogged Wristcuffs Icon Greenskin's Waterlogged Wristcuffs gives Between the Eyes Icon Between the Eyes a 20% chance per Combo Point invested to increase the damage of the next Pistol Shot Icon Pistol Shot by 200%. This is the best legendary for single target. The proc should be paired with a  Icon Blunderbuss proc whenever possible.

Looks like it is up-to-date as far as 200% is concerned and still states it is very strong. Blunderbuss is a pretty big factor in this too.

Yeah,it is definitely more damage if blunderbuss procs but in all other cases it seems weaker. And I dont know if its worth relying on that 33%(even less if free pistol shot did not proc either) .Thats why I am a bit confused about that.

I'll get a confirmation on whether or not it's worth it from Furty and let you know.

Thank you.

I also just thought what if the game would calculate the blunderbuss probability right after the saber slash proc, not after the actual button pressure? And give us a little tooltip which shows that the next pistol shot will be replaced with blunderbuss?I think that would be great and solve the problem at the same time lol.

Still worth using BtE on cooldown for the buff. If you don't have a Blunderbuss ready you should hold the Greenskins buff for as long as possible in order to potentially trigger Blunderbuss.

Next, we're looking at the Priest changes that went live in the second Alpha build. We've got some updates to Discipline's Atonement, and some tweaks to Shadow Priest's Collapsing Void.
      Priest
Atonement - Power Word: Shield, Flash Heal, Renew, Power Word: Radiance, and Power Word: Life apply Atonement to your target for 15 sec. Your spell damage heals all targets affected by Atonement for 40% 35% of the damage done. Healing increased by 50% 70% when not in a raid. Collapsing Void - Each time Penance damages or heals, Entropic Rift is expanded by 1 yd. After Entropic Rift ends, it collapses, rapidly dealing [ 120% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage up to 8 times to a random enemy, based on how many times it expanded. Each time Penance damages or heals, Entropic Rift is empowered, increasing its damage and size by 20%. After Entropic Rift ends, it collapses, dealing [ 500% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage split between all nearby enemies.

We'd like to introduce you to a game-changing nameplate addon for Season 4 that's essential for excelling in Mythic+ dungeons. Here's Quazii Plater!
Tracking every mob and their abilities in Mythic+ can be overwhelming, but this addon excels by replacing standard mob nameplates and cast bars to enhance your gameplay.
Once installed, mobs with critical interrupts will display a thick orange cast bar, while less crucial ones will show a thinner yellow bar.

Mobs with less crucial interrupts will have a thinner yellow cast bar.

Additionally, any mobs that inflict heavy frontal cone damage are marked with an arrow and feature orange cast bars. A voice alert will also prompt you to move by announcing "front."

The addon further assists by indicating non-interruptible spells that require crowd control with a purple cast bar and a vocal "cc" alert.

For tanks, if you're not holding aggro, the nameplates of the mobs will turn red, quickly showing you which ones to target.

There's also a handy visual cue on the cast bar, surrounded by a green border, signaling when you can interrupt an ability and your interrupt skill is off cooldown.

      Ready to try it out?
You can download Quazii Plater here.
For setup assistance, watch Quazii's comprehensive video guide.
Quazii has also created a Mythic+ cheatsheet that details all critical abilities for Season 4 dungeons, available in a text format.
If you appreciate Quazii's contributions, consider supporting him on Patreon.
