Have you had that moment where you realise you won't even use it? But you still want it?

Man, I'd use the shit out of it. LOL. Except in areas where you can fly. Too bad I never got the "flying Anzu" that was a bonus from the WoD Collector Edition.

I wish Blizzard would add the Raven Lord mount in HotS, at least. That way I could get it from shards rather than RNG.

The Corruption Effects Vendor has reset, bringing us a new batch of Preserved Contaminants that can be purchased from MOTHER for Echoes of Ny'alotha. The latest rotation includes Rank 3 Echoing Void and Surging Vitality.
      Did You Know?
The Corruption system will be removed in the Shadowlands pre-patch. Blizzard recently pushed a hotfix that acts as a cap for Corruption. If your character has more than 200 Corruption equipped, they will die in a matter of seconds (Inescapable Consequences). List of Preserved Contaminants on Sale Through August 11th
When will MOTHER reset in my region? Check out the countdown here!
Deadly Momentum  (Rank 1 // 15 Corruption) for 4,125 Echoes of Ny'alotha Your critical hits have a chance to increase your Critical Strike for 31 for 30 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Twilight Devastation (Rank 1 // 25 Corruption) for 6,250 Echoes of Ny'alotha Your attacks have a chance to trigger a beam of Twilight Devastation, dealing damage equal to 6% of your Health to all enemies in front of you. Twisted Appendage (Rank 2 // 35 Corruption) for 7,875 Echoes of Ny'alotha Your attacks have a chance to spawn a tentacle which Mind Flays your target for Shadow damage every second for 10 seconds. Versatile (Rank 2 // 15 Corruption) for 4,125 Echoes of Ny'alotha Increases the amount of Versatility you gain from all sources by 9%. Echoing Void (Rank 3 // 60 Corruption) for 12,000 Echoes of Ny'alotha Your damaging abilities build the Echoing Void. Each time it builds, Echoing Void has a chance to collapse, dealing 1% of your Health as Shadow damage to all nearby enemies every second until no stacks remain. Surging Vitality (Rank 3 // 35 Corruption) for 7,875 Echoes of Ny'alotha Taking damage has a chance to increase your Versatility by 801 for 20 seconds. Find out more about Corrupted Items in Visions of N'zoth and future rotations in our guide.

Rextroy is back with a new video, where he one-shots 20 players with a single Chaos Bolt thanks to the Void Ritual Corruption Effect.
It took Rextroy a while to come up with a new video because he had to gear up his Warlock from scratch and farm Echoes of Ny'alotha to make this work since Blizzard recently implemented Inescapable Consequences that kills you when you have more than 200 Corruption equipped at once.
Void Ritual is the perfect Corruption Effect that increases the damage of Chaos Bolt since the damage scales with Critical Strike, Mastery, and Versatility.
The Bane of Havoc PvP Talent allows you to hit as many people with Chaos Bolt as you need.
Rextroy also had to gather Azerite pieces with Crashing Chaos and Chaotic Inferno to make this work. The Essences used for this combo are Worldvein Resonance and Replica of Knowledge (The Formless Void). Important are also Gladiator's Badge and the Fireblood racial. You get an additional 12% damage increase from Grimoire of Supremacy, so all these effect combined will substantially increase the damage of Chaos Bolt.
There's also a workaround for Inescapable Consequences. Simply, removing your Void Ritual gear after you get the proc makes it keep stacking up the secondary stats at full power, allowing you to enter combat with your normal gear together with an instane stat boost.
Check out the video below for more information!

As the end of expansion lull is upon us, we should always remember there are many, MANY things to do in WoW that aren't just current content, and we have a really cool challenge/concept by Deededee everyone should take a look at! He's taken playing old raids to a whole new and fun level. The idea is quite simple and very roguelike: you start out naked in Molten Core and just gear up along the way. The catch is you stop if you die (although that part can be skipped if you're not a hardcore type of person) and tally all the drops you got, trying to get further and get some better stuff along the way.

This will certainly make transmog runs more fun, if you can stomach doing a few raids you don't need stuff from, but it really seems worth it.
Another fun aspect of this is sharing the results with friends on twitter or elsewhere (or just keep the screenshots for yourself and see if you can beat your previous upgrade tally), and then commiserate how unlucky you got with drops (which, let's face it, is the primary mode of communication in WoW ? ).
I'll definitely be doing a few runs, if nothing else to see how many times the left binding can drop off Garr on characters that aren't my warrior, so I can complain about that a bit more (because 15 years just isn't enough)!
