The audience at Blizzcon was responsible for selecting nine new Arena-only cards. Come find out what they chose!

Nine new cards will be coming to the Arena in an unannounced future update. Three cards were designed by for each of the nine classes, but a single winner for each class was chosen by audience applause at Blizzcon's recent Hearthstone Q&A.

These cards are not part of the upcoming Kobolds and Catacombs expansion and will not be collectible, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Though the cards have some very exciting effects, they were designed specifically for the Arena and would probably have disastrous effects on constructed formats.

The cards below that are boxed in red are the nine that will be coming to the Arena:

These cards might receive some more testing and tune-ups before joining the Arena in the future, and it has not yet been confirmed what the rarity of these cards will be during the draft.

Unsurprisingly, the cards with most exciting effects were chosen by the Q&A audience every time. Let us know in the comment section which cards you would have cheered for!

Mage's new card is kind of shit which is ok, since mage historically one of the best classes for arena. I am concerned about Nature's Champion for druid though. I feel it's really overpowered at the moment. Also, did shaman really need another RNG aoe?

There is no RNG on that is there? It says to all minions, not spread

You are correct, he might have overlooked that. Playing it and then spending 10 mana on an empty board can be really powerful; but at the same time you're skipping your next turn (That is, unless they introduce more cards that have an overload mechanic i.e. "10 mana 10/10 costs 1 less for each overload") but that's definitely quite situational.

 

Then again, it's arena, there aren't many arena decks that can deal lethal with just 20 mana. Then again, it's not like all games will have the shaman sitting on 30 health on turn 10 in the first place. Definitely a very interesting card that may be decent depending on other available cards. If the opponent has deathrattle effects then this card becomes a lot less valuable, but it's not like you can build around something so situational.
