So I haven't really kept abreast, has the ridiculous nature of "regeneratin" been nerfed further than the break on damage part?   Or is it still going to be the default prot paladin race horde side?

But still a 100% heal?    Figure with fight knowledge (long boss casts, tank swap dead time) or immunities (IE BoP or BoS or DS) that's pretty much a guaranteed full heal, which seems pretty powerful compared to the other "best" options.

It is. The current tooltip says: Regenerate 100% of your maximum health over 6 secs, interrupted by damage. 1.5 min cooldown. Not sure about the Immune part. but I assume it's going to heal you to full health when immune to damage.

This racial will bring the paladin's Last Stand talent into a next level.

Pretty much what I was thinking, it's seriously powerful in mythic+ (reaping anyone?) and fairly strong on raid encounters too, on fights like Rastekan when you're swapping back and forth to take Rastekan as Bwonsamdi is channeling his stuff at you, or at the end when there's balls everywhere and the healers are keeling over.

To say nothing about its effectiveness on a fight like Grong Mythic.

It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
