3.1.5. Questie Classic
Questie Classic marks level-appropriate quests you can pick up and quest objectives you can turn in on your world map and minimap. Use it for efficiency, or don't use it for the real Vanilla Experience!

MapCoords Classic places coordinates on your world map and minimap, which allow you to communicate, and understand, exact locations on WoW Classic easily when reading guides such as ours. It can also help you locate Mankrik's Wife, we promise.

Questie Classic shows your coords and cursor coords on map and minimap. So why have a 2nd addons with the functionality you already have?

Questie Classic shows your coords and cursor coords on map and minimap. So why have a 2nd addons with the functionality you already have?

 

 

For the people who don't want to use Questie because it makes things too easy, but still want to follow map coordinates that some kind stranger might send them ?. In order to see map coordinates in the mini-map, you need to enable this option in Questie also, which comes by default with MapCoords.

ElvUI also shows map-coordinates when you open the World Map at this point, seems like it is a fairly simple thing to implement and a lot of addons are baking it in!

I would suggest updating the quest helping addon. After some research I discovered The final one you suggested isn’t working. :-/

Yeah, just use Questie, that's what we recommend early on in the guide, Azeroth Auto-Pilot was good in retail and the author started making a Classic version but it was never finished once the game went live, afaik!

[Guest Macro timing]

So i'm using this right now:

#showtooltip Shield Wall
/equip Wall of the Dead
/equip Curve-bladed Ripper
/cast Defensive Stance
/cast Shield Wall

and it keeps telling me that my shield is not equipped.  I have to wait a GCD and try again to get the spell to cast properly.  Am I missing something, or do I have something written wrong?

Swapping weapons / shield / to defensive stance activates the global cooldown, and Shield Wall in Classic requires a global cooldown to activate, so you can only activate it once the global cooldown caused by the swaps is over ?

Is there a way to add a pause to account for the GCD then? or am I best just creating 2 macros, one for weapon swaps and one for a stance change and ability usage?

I use separate macros for swaps and ability usage. Don't think there is any way to add a pause, although you can just press the macro again when the GCD is over!

try this

/equip Wall of the Dead
/equip Curve-bladed Ripper
/castsequence reset=2 Defensive Stance, Shield Wall

 

i cant say if it'll work because i dont have a warrior, but double clicking the button should do it as long as you wait out the 1sec GCD

it will reset after 2 seconds

the equipment, and defensive stance should happen instantly, next press will try to reequip what you already have equipped ( no big deal) and cast shield wall. hope that works, going off previous macro knowledge not warrior specifics
