Battle for Azeroth and Diablo 1 8K Upscaled Cinematics

We've seen some pretty impressive stuff with these AI upscales, but today we have two videos that didn't quite come out that great. First off there's the BfA intro cinematic which didn't really need to be remade at all as it's very recent, and apart from those fringe cases where you either have a projector or 8K screen, there's mostly no difference at all, and it even looks worse in parts if you focus on some of the textures.

The Diablo 1 intro cinematic fares worse, however, as the early days of CGI don't really mix well with today's high resolutions, resulting in a pretty poor looking video:

What did you think of these, especially compared to the others we've seen recently?

MAAAAAAN i loved Diablo 1 so much as a kid. Bought it just after it came out as an 11 year old, craziest game I had played up to that point in my life!!

The Hidden in the Catacombs were so scary and off-putting, and no one ever forgets their first Butcher experience.

Of course back then gaming strats spread by word of mouth, I remember hearing from a kid who heard from a kid you could trap Butcher behind a gated wall and kill him by plucking him with arrows for 7 minutes.

Obsidian (item) of the Zodiac. 'Nuff said.

And farming those books of apocalypse!
