Table of Contents

New Season Theme

Season 20 is the Season of the Forbidden Archives. Many adventurers have come to learn the power that dwells within the ancient nephalem artifact, Kanai’s Cube. However, none understand this power better than the equally celebrated and reviled Horadrim, Zoltun Kulle. Kulle was able to unlock and harness the power of the Cube like none before, leveraging its power to siphon and archive the energies of powerful items. With Season 20, we explore the power Kulle might lend to your fingertips if his experiments went unchecked.

For the duration of Season 20, the slots in Kanai’s Cube that allow you to equip three additional Legendary powers will not be restricted to their usual categories. While normally a player can equip one power each from the Weapon, Armor, and Jewelry categories, Season 20 players can mix and match between all three! This might allow you to run two Weapon powers with one Armor power. Or perhaps you might choose to run three Amulet powers instead. The choice is yours, and we’re as eager as you are to experiment with the new build opportunities this creates!

Seasonal Cosmetic Rewards

Beginning with Season 17, we began re-introducing previous Seasonal rewards to make them available to players who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 20, this means awards originally available from Season 8 are returning to the Season Journey.

However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Feast your eyes upon the Teganze Warrior Portrait Frame and Bat pet!

In addition to the Boots and Pants slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn a series of portrait frames that smolder with demonic fires of the Burning Hells. The iconic “wings” of Andariel will also be available once more, allowing you to truly embrace your inner Maiden of Anguish.

Season Journey Rewards

If you’ve been diligently slaying demons for the past few Seasons and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five:

  • Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within 5 minutes.
  • Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55.
  • All I Do is Win: Complete 2 Conquests this Season.
  • Warm Thoughts: Kill Izual at level 70 in under 15 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty.
  • Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Treasure Goblins outside of Nephalem Rifts will sometimes open portals to Greed’s domain, The Vault.
  • Take U There: Reach Greater Rift Level 60 Solo. Greater Rift keystones can be obtained from any Nephalem Rift guardian.
  • Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a level 50+ gem.
  • Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item.

Seasonal Conquests

Want to prepare your Conquest plan for Season 19? Here are the challenges you’ll face!

For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Push your way to Greater Rift level 75 to complete Divinity/Lionhearted. For the fiercest demon slayers, Boss Mode/Worlds Apart is a speed challenge where you’ll need to eliminate the following bosses at level 70 and Torment X in under twenty minutes:

  • The Skeleton King
  • The Butcher
  • Zoltun Kulle
  • Ghom
  • Cydaea
  • Rakanoth
  • Diablo
  • Adria
  • Queen Araneae
  • Maghda
  • Belial
  • Siegebreaker Assault Beast
  • Azmodan
  • Izual
  • Urzael
  • Malthael

Finally, Years of War/Dynasty will be a great test for those who enjoy mastering various Class Sets, and if that’s not enough, Masters of the Universe/Masters of Sets will challenge your tactical understanding of Set Dungeons.

Haedrig’s Gift

Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works:

Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. Each Gift contains a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!

The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character.

Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 20:

  • Barbarian – Immortal King’s Call
  • Crusader – Seeker of the Light
  • Demon Hunter – Natalya’s Vengeance
  • Monk – Uliana’s Stratagem
  • Necromancer – Trag’Oul’s Avatar
  • Witch Doctor – Spirit of Arachyr
  • Wizard – Vyr’s Amazing Arcana

Patch Notes

Below you will find the final patch notes for the most recent update for Diablo III, Patch 2.6.8. Changes specifically from the last version of the PTR have been highlighted in RED.

Last updated February 28 @ 10:00 a.m. PST.

Below you will find the patch notes for the most recent update for Diablo III, Patch 2.6.8.

PATCH 2.6.8

Table of Contents:

Note: The following changes apply to both PC and Console versions of Diablo III unless otherwise noted.

General

  • Infernal MachineInfernal Machines and Organs are now subject to vacuum pick-up
  • Crafting plans from Bounty Caches are now guaranteed to drop unless all plans have been learned
Return to Top

Seasons

  • A new Season Theme has been added for Season 20, the Season of the Forbidden Archives:
    • For the duration of Season 20, all slots in Kanai's Cube will be able to select Legendary powers from Weapon, Armor, or Jewelry
      • This means you could select three Armor powers, three Weapon powers, three Jewelery powers, or any other combination thereof across all categories
      • Items are not self-additive or multiplicative (meaning, you cannot stack multiples of the same item's power)
      • Once the Season has ended and characters roll over to Non-Season, players will have all currently active powers in their Kanai's Cube reset
      • Developer's Note: As we outlined in our Developer Insight blog, we want to continue to get creative (and maybe a little crazy) with the Season Themes and powers we add to the game. We heard from some players that they preferred themes that made your character directly feel more powerful rather than needing to focus on the environment around you. If that describes you, then the Season of Forbidden Archives should be right up your alley, and we're really interested to see how this changes the game for Season 20.
  • Two new Seasonal rewards are available for players who fully complete the Season 20 Journey, including a new portrait frame and pet
Return to Top

Classes

  • Crusader
    • Developer's Note: We're not convinced that this change has fully reigned in Crusader performance to be more in line with other classes. We'll be continuing to keep an eye on overall Crusader performance (as well as performance among the other classes) in 2.6.8 and beyond.
    • Heaven's Fury
      • The animation for the Fires of HeavenFires of Heaven rune can no longer be cancelled early.
  • Witch Doctor
    • Spirit Barrage (Phantasm)
      • The periodic attacks from Spirit BarrageSpirit BarragePhantasmPhantasm are now twice as slow, but twice as powerful
      • Developer's Note: We rolled this change back between PTR and Live as it was creating additional bugs. We may consider re-exploring this option in the future if we find this adjustment is still needed.

Items

  • Developer's Note: With Patch 2.6.8, we're adding three(!) new class sets with similar goals to those we included in the previous patch. Each set was designed primarily with boosting long-requested skills and play styles we lifted directly from community feedback. FrenzyFrenzy, Spirit BarrageSpirit Barrage, and HydraHydra were requests that offered a lot of opportunity for gameplay exploration, and we're looking forward to seeing what players do with these new tools at their disposal. Additional changes to associated supplemental Legendaries have been included to round out these builds.
  • Mantle of ChannelingMantle of Channeling
    • The bonus granted by this item now occurs 1 second after channeling has begun
  • Barbarian
    • New Class Set: Horde of the Ninety Savages
      • 2-Piece Bonus: Double the effectiveness of all Shouts. Feared, Frozen, or Stunned Enemies take double damage.
        • Developer's Note: The callout that Stun may be the best fit for this set bonus was definitely heard, but we didn't want to take away other potential builds enabled by experimenting with Fear or Frozen. We hope this opens up a variety of options for Barbarians to explore!
      • 4-Piece Bonus: Each stack of FrenzyFrenzy reduces damage taken by 6%. FrenzyFrenzy lasts twice as long.
      • 6-Piece Bonus: FrenzyFrenzy deals 1000% increased damage per stack.
    • The Undisputed ChampionThe Undisputed Champion
      • FrenzyFrenzy gains the effect of every rune and deals 300-400% increased damage.
    • Bastion's ReveredBastion's Revered
      • FrenzyFrenzy now stacks up to 10 times and hits an additional time per stack. Each additional hit will chain to any enemies within 15 yards and the damage is split between all affected enemies.
  • Witch Doctor
    • New Class Set: Mundunugu's Regalia
      • 2-Piece Bonus: Big Bad VoodooBig Bad Voodoo now follows you and lasts twice as long.
      • 4-Piece Bonus: Gain 60% damage reduction for 30 seconds when you enter the Spirit Realm.
      • 6-Piece Bonus: Spirit BarrageSpirit Barrage deals 20000% increased damage plus an additional % equal to 5 times your Mana Regeneration/Second.
        • Developer's Note: We found this set was overperforming at the highest end, but we also wanted to maintain its capabilities at early gearing stages. The addition of a base multiplier and reducing the effectiveness of the Mana Regeneration bonus should accomplish this goal.
    • The BarberThe Barber
      • Instead of dealing direct damage, your Spirit BarrageSpirit Barrage now accumulates on the target. When you stop casting, it explodes dealing 225-250% 400-500% of the accumulated damage to all enemies within 15 yards.
      • Is now classified as a Ceremonial Knife, with a base 1.4 attack speed
    • Gazing DemiseGazing Demise
      • Spirit BarrageSpirit Barrage gains the PhantasmPhantasm rune. Each active PhantasmPhantasm lasts twice as long, increases the damage of Spirit BarrageSpirit Barrage by 40-50% 100-150%, and also increases the attack rate from Manitou spectres.
    • Ring of EmptinessRing of Emptiness
      • You deal 250-300% increased damage to enemies affected by both either your Haunt and or Locust SwarmLocust Swarm.
  • Wizard
    • New Class Set: The Typhon's Veil
      • 2-Piece Bonus: Double the duration of HydraHydras and increase the number of heads on multi-headed HydraHydras by two.
      • 4-Piece Bonus: Damage taken is reduced by 8% for each HydraHydra head alive as long as there is one available. Each time you take damage, a HydraHydra heads dies. Heads cannot die more than once every 2 seconds
      • 6-Piece Bonus: HydraHydras deal 1200% 1300% increased damage for each HydraHydra head alive.
        • Developer's Note: We've continued to tilt more of the power for HydraHydra in favor of the 6-piece set bonus and away from the supplemental Legendary items.
    • Serpent's SparkerSerpent's Sparker
      • You may have one extra HydraHydra active at a time and they deal 450-600% 250-300% increased damage.
    • The MagistrateThe Magistrate
      • Frost Hydra Your HydraHydras now periodically cast Frost NovaFrost Nova and deal 450-600% 250-300% increased damage.
    • Etched SigilEtched Sigil
      • The bonus granted by this item now occurs 1 second after channeling has begun.

FAQ

Q: When does Season 20 start?

A: Season 20 begins Friday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. PST in North America, 5:00 p.m. CET in Europe, and 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia. For time zone conversions, see this site.

Q: When do Seasons go live for players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch?

A: Seasons go live for all console players globally Friday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, regardless of which regional version of the game you may have. Please note that Seasonal Leaderboards for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch are still separate by hardware platform.

Q: When will Season 20 end?

A: We are no longer providing anticipated end dates for Seasons. However, we are committed to keeping Seasons roughly three months in length (give or take a few weeks based on development needs) and will continue to provide a minimum of two weeks advance notice for when the Season will be ending.

Q: When are the non-Seasonal Leaderboards being wiped?

A: Non-Seasonal Leaderboards are tied to what we call “Eras,” each of which lasts about 6–12 months. The most recent era began November 12; the Era will be resetting with the release of Patch 2.6.8. For more information on Eras, please see this post.

Q: What will happen to older Seasonal and Era records?

A: Starting with Season 10, we removed old personal bests from Season 1. When Season 19 arrives, we will remove old personal bests from Season 10, and so on. We will be doing the same for personal bests from the previous Era when the next one goes live.

Seasonal Leaderboard records are not being cleared and will remain archived both in game and on our website.

Ye they didn't announce that one, usually it's 2 days after the previous season ends. It's possible they actually won't release the patch until the season though, but that would be a bit weird.

So calculations on the forum tells that this is a 2.3x nerf of the Spirit Barrage set, in group play. On top of that Typhon's Veil 4pc set bonus is bugged (absorbs cancel out the DR) and also received a huge nerf in potential damage.

The hype to try out the new sets has already ended before the season began.

I always assume they start the patch a couple of weeks before to check out the final bugs in play.

I think that launching the new league the day that the new PoE league launches is a massive mistake from their side.
Last season their players spiked the first week because it launched a week before PoE.
But I guess we will see.

If only PoE didn't BSOD so much...

s20 offers NOTHING to the DH - we're still last in the power rankings for solo LBs, no inclusion in group, nothing new for us, and the season theme is useless to us.

Wizard and Barb were already OP AF, and got new stuff...WTF?

Terrible effort from Blizzard.  F-.

I''ve never had any issues with blue screening while playing PoE, so I've no clue as to why you would say that.

But blizz have been neglecting D3 for soo long now which is why I swapped to PoE in the first place. 😕

are you playing on PC or console?  on PS4, the BSOD issue is rampant.  3 BSODs in 90 minutes of game play.  And this is the norm.  For me and many, many, many other players.

I regret investing in GGG and giving them money for tabs, hideout, etc very early on after its release.  Each patch has made the game on PS4 even more unstable, meanwhile, GGG doesn't even acknowledge the issues, let alone fix them.  D3 is inherently a far better polished product, even with its myriad issues.

I havent played PoE and played very few ports but man after Planetside 2 and DCUO ports to PS4 I dont expect much from pc games that get ported. Planetside not only ran like crap but the draw distance was embarassing and I don't even have that good of a computer which is why I was hyped for it coming to PS4.

Very interesting to hear as I hear nothing but PoE > D3. I guess most PoE players are on PC.

D3 on console has big issues, pretty sure I've mentioned them in a prior post in IV somewhere.  D3 has not been designed well at all, both on PC and console, but sadly, the hardware limitations on console make the design issues stand out even more.  Blizzard has traditionally ignored console players screaming for support on the myriad issues that plague us.

So after playing a bit and then reading these patch notes I just noticed that Deathwish and Etched Sigil (both of which were great items for me to use on wizard) have been insanely nerfed to the point of almost uselessness. Wizards already need an enemy to only look at them wrong to get one shot, and now they get no damage bonus from these items unless they have been standing still for one second? Every time i wanna kill an enemy i have to stand still for one second, get the damage buff, kill it, then move to the next enemy and wait one second in place again? No thank you. All Wizard builds that use Deathwish and Etched Sigil are now obsolete...

I find it amusing that this has been a constant wizard build practice for several seasons now, without issue and is suddenly nerfed.  Look, the top wizard build seriously needed nerfing, but the trickle down effect is just ridiculous.  Blizzard is clueless when it comes to balancing imho, has been for years.

      PTR Testing Tips
As with our previous PTRs, this testing period is short, so it's best to hit the ground running. Whether you’re a PTR veteran or newcomer, we thought we’d pass along a few tips to get you started.
Because of the limited duration of this PTR, we ask that participants pick a particular portion of this update to focus on testing. For example, if you’re primarily a Wizard player, consider what changes impact the Wizard specifically. What you like best, what you think may still need adjustment, and what you’d want to see in the future (even if that may be beyond the scope of this patch) are all good questions to ask yourself. Prior to the start of PTR, consider stocking up on items like Puzzle Rings and Bovine Bardiches. Having these available after you import your character can make any necessary PTR farming much faster! Try to break things! Just tell us when you do so we can make sure that the patch launch is as smooth as possible. When providing feedback, focus less on a solution and more on your experience. How did the changes make you feel? Was there something “off” that you noticed? Did something seem wrong or insufficient? Suggestions are always welcome but identifying the issues themselves is most important. Return to Top

      Seasons
The shadows, they are moving, and they seem… animated. It is as though they have a will of their own. Whatever this trickery is, perhaps you can use it to your advantage. Let’s see what the demons say when you fight side by side with your own shadow!
Shadows of the Past: Activating a Shrine/Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class. This clone will randomly have 1 out of 3 predetermined builds. This clone's power will scale with your character and will last for 1 minute or if your character dies. See below for the shadow clone variations that can spawn when activating.
Developer's Note: We appreciate and gathered feedback regarding the initial list of skills from the clones. We have decided to remove all hard crowd control effects from all kits and balanced each of the build variants to not have a potential buff that is more beneficial than the other 2 in the same class.
Developer's Note: Adjusted Seasonal Theme's Shadow Clone damage numbers and they can now move unhindered through enemies. Damage numbers should now be more even across all classes

Rewards: Two unique new rewards, a portrait frame, and a pet will be granted to players who complete the Season 22 Guardian Journey.
Kanai’s Cube: Additionally, the Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot this season. This fourth slot will have the choices of the first 3 slots but will not stack with any of them. The intent is to provide players with creative flexibility to their character builds.

      Items
      General
Haedrig’s Gifts now grants all class sets and we have a new rotation schedule. This upcoming season, depending on which class you choose, Haedrig’s Gifts will reward you with Horde of the Ninety Savages, Aegis of Valor, Gears of Dreadlands, Patterns of Justice, Masquerade of the Burning Carnival, Mundunugu’s Regalia, or Typhon’s Veil. Stone Gauntlets now drops for all classes. Paragon Bonus Gold Find has been changed to Gold Pickup Radius at 0.1 per point. Item Changes
New Item* Gelmindor’s Marrow Guards: Bone Spear cast from Simulacrums deal 400-500% 300-400% increased damage. Developer's Note: We see how strong this is performing. We would like to tweak it back a little for now.
Ivory Tower: Rapid multiple blocks will now scale the damage for Fires of Heaven, up to a maximum of 2.5 times damage. Mantle of Channeling: Removed the 1 second start up before the power takes effect. The Twisted Sword: The Twisted Sword: Energy Twister damage is increased by 125-150% for each Energy Twister you have out up to a maximum of 5. The Raging Storm rune is automatically applied to Energy Twister and allows the tornado to merge with 3 additional Energy Twisters. Unfortunately, this item is not available with PTR vendor, Djank Mi'em. Developer's Note: We want to address the lag situation of multiple Energy Twisters doing AoE by allowing them to combine up to 5 while dealing with their combined damage. We will monitor the situation and see if this is the correct approach.
Etched Sigil: While channeling Arcane Torrent, Disintegrate, or Ray of Frost, the damage of your Energy Twister is increased by 200-250%, and you also cast Energy Twister every second. Fragment of Destiny: Your Signature Spells attack 50% faster and deal triple damage. You gain a Spectral buff whenever you land an attack with a Signature Spell. Hydras deal 25-30% increased damage for each Spectral stack. Max 10 stacks. Valthek's Rebuke: Energy Twister now travels in a straight path and deals 300-400% increased damage. Winter Flurry: Enemies killed by Cold damage have a 25% chance to release a Frost Nova. Your Hydra deals 125-150% increased damage to enemies in a Blizzard. Wizardspike: Performing an attack has a 25% chance to hurl a Frozen Orb. Arcane Orb deals 300-350% increased damage. Delsere's Magnum Opus: 6 piece bonus increased from 8500% to 12500%. The Typhon's Veil: 6 piece bonus increased from 1300% to 2000%. Norvald's Fervor: Buff 2 piece bonus damage from 100% to 400% Armor of Akkhan: Buff 6 piece bonus damage from 1500% to 2000% Roland's Legacy: Buff 4 piece bonus damage from 13,000% to 17,500% Seeker of the Light: Buff 6 piece Blessed Hammer bonus damage from 12,000% to 15,000% Belt of the Trove: Every 4 seconds, call down Bombardment on a random nearby enemy. Bombardment deals 400-500% increased damage. Mortal Drama: Double the number of Bombardment impacts. Bombardement deals 400-500% increased damage. Thorns of The Invoker: 2-Piece bonus decreased from 350% to 90% and has a cap of 10 stacks. 6-piece bonus increased from 15,000% to 67,500% and increased attack speed bonus from 50% to 100%. Developer's Note: This is to address the Bombardment build that Crusaders have been tearing across the board. We've severely nerfed the 2-piece and compensated in the 6-piece. We also thought about extending the duration of the buff past 2 seconds, but we rather change a couple of things first rather than too many things to see how things play out.
Manajuma's Way: Angry Chicken explosion damage increased from 400% to 2000%. Manajuma's Way now includes a third legendary affix, which allows angry chicken to spawn a chicken that seeks enemies every second that deals 25% of the angry chicken's explosion damage.  Developer's Note: This build wasn't clearing T16 as fast as we want, so we wanted to give it more juice in an interesting way
New Item* Ursua's Trodden Effigy: New Witch Doctor Legendary mojo buffing Zombie Charger 100-150%, and spawning more Zombie Bears. Unfortunately, this item is not available with PTR vendor, Djank Mi'em. Developer's Note: More, Bears
Spirit of Arachyr: Buff 6 piece bonus damage from 9000% to 17,500%. Helltooth Harness: Buff 6 piece bonus damage from 9000% to 17,500%. Scrimshaw: Reduces the Mana cost of Zombie Charger by 75% and increases its damage by 6-7 times. Inna's Mantra: Buff 6 piece bonus damage from 750% to 950%. Shenlong's Spirit: Damage bonus increased from 200% to 350%. Uliana's Strategem Set: Now has 77% damage reduction for 7 seconds after applying Exploding Palm. Developer's Note: This set needed damage reduction much more than a damage boost, so we'll see where this takes it.
Gungdo Gear: Exploding Palm's on-death explosion applies Exploding Palm. Exploding Palm's damage is increased by 75-100%. Blade of the Tribes: War Cry and Threatening Shout cause an Avalanche and Earthquake. Avalanche and Earthquake both deal 150-200% increased damage. Consolidated Blade of the Tribes Earthquake affix into the new legendary affix so that it's no longer two affixes that buff Earthquake.
Developer's Note: This item had a standard affix that boosted earthquake by up to 200%, along with a legendary affix that boosted Avalanche and Earthquake. We've combined those two which means also buffing Avalanche at the same time.

      Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue with PC Win32 (32-bit) and macOS clients crashing. Please share any issues on our PTR Bug Report section Fixed Wizardspike to more properly proc Frozen Orb. Simulacrums casting Grim Scythe with Haunted Visions no longer gain double benefit from Trag’Ouls Corroded Fang (currently bugged on the PTR) Blessed Hammer will now destroy itself after hitting 63 targets. Reduced the tick rate of Energy Twister by half and doubled its damage. (currently looking into improving this) Reverted Energy Twister's tick rate and damage back to normal which is 0.5 seconds per tick. Fixed legacy items stacking with the new items from this PTR: Gundo Gear, Blade of the Tribes, Scrimshaw, Belt of the Trove, Mortal Drama, Winter Flurry, Wizardspike, Etched Sigil, and Fragment of Destiny Fixed Necromancer's pets doing extra damage to cursed enemies from a bug caused by the original fix for Haunted Visions + Trag'Ouls Corroded Fang. How to Participate
To participate in the public test, you must have a Diablo III game license attached to a Battle.net account in good standing (i.e. one that hasn't been suspended or banned). In addition, you will also need to download and install the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app if you have not already done so.
Step 1: Restart the Battle.net desktop app.
Step 2: Navigate to the Diablo III tab on the left-hand menu.
Step 3: On the Diablo III screen, there is a drop-down menu right above the "Play" button (note that this may say "Install" if you do not have Diablo III currently installed). Select "PTR: Diablo III" from this drop-down menu before proceeding.
Step 4: Click Install to begin the installation process.
Your PTR account will be created automatically if you do not already have one. The PTR is available in all supported languages, and accounts from all regions are eligible to participate. For additional assistance with installing and launching the PTR, click here.

      PTR Character Copy
The option to copy your existing Diablo III characters from your live account to the PTR will be available and can be done directly through the PTR client. However, only one region per account can be copied at a time. So, if you choose to copy characters from your account in a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost.
Step 1: Log into the live game and then log out.
Step 2: Log into PTR client and create a level 1 character. After you're done, return to the main character screen.
Step 3: Click on the "PTR Copy" button located in the upper right-hand corner. (The PTR Copy button will not appear in-game until you have created a new level 1 character.)
      Step 4: Select your region.
Step 5: Click "Copy." This will copy all characters on your account from the selected region.
Step 6: You will be disconnected from the PTR client.
Step 7: Log back in. Your copied characters will be available for play.
Please note that you can only copy characters from one gameplay region at a time. If you choose to copy characters from a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost. In addition, you can only copy characters over to your PTR account once every 24 hours. Attempting to copy characters before this cooldown is up will result in an error.

As this is a test server, please anticipate uneven game performance, and note that restarts and downtime may occur without warning. Thank you, and we look forward to your feedback!
